THE WEIGHT
When you realize the weight of your assignment
It humbles you
You understand that your pain was an experience
To be shared
A reminder of what you have been delivered from
And who has delivered you
So you share
So that others may be healed
You expose yourself
To aid in someone’s deliverance
You become uncomfortable, as it is not easy
But this is the weight of your assignment
Your assignment humbles you
It drives you to dare to believe that someone needs to hear your story
So that they can be mended and encouraged to share their story of survival with someone else
That is the weight of the assignment.
