One Last Time, Morocco - Kitka Buchanan

    Chapter One

    Jason?

Jason glared at the clock and let his foggy brain start to process the voice on the other end of the line. Emory? Is that you? Do you have any idea what time it is?

She was quiet before responding. When she did, Jason felt bad. He could tell she was crying. I’m sorry. It’s only 7:00 here.

It was only seconds later when the taxi pulled up to the curb. Jason grabbed his bag and was into the backseat before the driver could even put the vehicle into Park.

    Heathrow, immediately!

    Chapter Two

Jason was a nervous wreck and he knew it.

He stared out the window of the cab as the lights of London passed by, but he didn’t see any of them. He was deep in thought about the last time he was at Kaelynn’s house. The fight was monumental. They both found it difficult to make time for each other. She worked too much. He worked too much. He drank too much. She
