Devin Beverly is a Christian family man that has worked many years as a mental health practitioner within the criminal justice system and has been dedicating increasingly more time to serving the LORD in the ministry that GOD has called him to. Preface

In life, there are many things to contend with. These experiences can be negative, neutral, or positive. Like them or not, they are your experiences. As you know, they do not have to be negative to produce stress in your life. For example, you may start a new job, finally have the baby you always wanted, get married, get a job promotion, or even move from an apartment into a house. Take a look at the first example—Though getting the job you applied for was positive, the uncertainty of the new job environment, with all the new people, new job description and tasks, and learning curve, usually produces some degree of stress (e.g., Can I do it? Will I know what to do? Will they like me? Will I be able to get along with my new boss?). So then, beyond the obvious negative experiences, like medical problems, being fired from your job, breaking up with your significant other, having someone close to you die, having your pet die, and going to detention, jail, or prison, you also have positive and/or neutral things that can be stressful.

Have you noticed as you have gotten older, that life is not nearly as simple as you thought it would be? What you may not have given consideration to is the ongoing transpersonal struggle. Said differently, it is the constant battle with negative spiritual forces; namely, Satan and his demons, but also those (e.g., witches, occult, etc.) in his service. Yes, beyond the obvious, or that which is known to you by your five senses (i.e., sight, touch, hearing, etc.), your life is influenced by the negative spirituality that is unseen by you and me. In fact, the second person (i.e., Eve) of this earth was tempted and did yield, which resulted in consequences for everyone that has lived ever since. How do you make it through life’s endless challenges?

Well, being wealthy, very intelligent, or joining with the accult and negative spiritual forces is not the answer. Rather, GOD wants us to depend on HIM. As a Christian; therefore, one of GOD’s children, this book offers you the opportunity to speak life into some of the life-draining situations that you, a loved one, or friend may be facing, such as spiritual oppression, medical problems, addiction, hopelessness, or other personal circumstances.

However, similar to the 12-Steps of Alcoholic Anonymous, which was also GOD inspired, it is important to openly confess wrongdoing towards true repentance. Lastly, remember that it is your faith in the unmatched powers of JESUS the CHRIST that yields fruit with rgard to healing. The Bible tells us:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16-17)

If you are not already a Christian, perhaps the time has come to surrender your life to JESUS the CHRIST who died on the cross because of HIS immeasurable love for you. As written in 1 Peter 5:6-7 of GOD’s HOLY WORD, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of GOD, that HE might exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon HIM, for HE careth for you. This book of prayers also provides Christians with new knowledge, wisdom, and the necessary tools to successfully help the spiritually oppressed and/or lost, and even includes a prayer of salvation to lead others to CHRIST.
