Summary: American Marxism: Mark R. Levin (Annotated Study Aid by Scott Campbell)
()
About this ebook
Levin discusses how the problems he warned about in his “timely but timeless” book Liberty and Tyranny have come to pass.
Levin’s 2009 manifesto Liberty and Tyranny energized conservatives by offering a philosophical, historical, and practical foundation for stopping the liberal attack on Constitution-based principles. We were on the brink of losing our freedoms when that book came out, and we’re still paying the price.
With names like “progressivism,” “democratic socialism,” “social activism,” and more, Levin shows how the basic components of Marxist ideology are now widespread in American society and culture. "Marxism" is synonymous with communism.
As usual, Levin delves into these groups’ psychology and methods, including extensive student indoctrination, the anti-American goals of Critical Race Theory and the Green New Deal, and the rise of repression and censorship to compel compliance. And he offers us some solutions and suggestions on how to face them. Communism means to destroy society and its identity forever and to steal its wealth. The goal is a totalitarian elite making up self-serving laws and policies.
“The counter-revolution against the American Revolution is in full force,” says Levin. Undeniable, it consumes our society and culture, permeating our politics, schools, media, and entertainment. Levin tries to mobilize Americans to preserve their liberties.

Summary - Campbell Scott
INTRODUCTION
Mark Levin, an author, and lawyer, just penned a new bestseller called A merican Marxism . He is best known for his radio show and his work with the Fox television networks as a pundit and host on the news. During his early professional life, Levin worked for the Reagan Administration, the Department of Education, and the Landmark Legal Foundation.
Levin found himself popular as he appeared on television shows, including It's the Rush Limbaugh Show . Appointed editor-in-chief in 2014, Levin began hosting a weekend show for the Conservative Review called Life . The show is in its third season. This is Levin's sixth full-length book. It deals with familiar topics, like those in his 2012 book Ameritropia and 2019's Unfreedom of Expression . He is well-known for his frequently strong opinions on a variety of issues. Politics on the left and frequent allusions to left-wing politicians or figures throughout his career have characterized some of them as subversive and violence-recommending Marxists.
At the beginning of 2016, he initially endorsed Ted Cruz as the Republican presidential contender, but he eventually changed his mind and supported Trump. Levin was well-known during Trump's presidency for his frequent accusations of a covert plot against the President of the United States. The book's topics should not surprise anybody familiar with Levin's work. When compared to his earlier books, American Marxism becomes in next evolutionary step in discourse.
American Marxism examines how Marxists in the United States have influenced the country. Marxist ideology formed deep roots in American politics and culture. Marxism appears to have taken over a significant portion of American life. Levin's convictions stand strong as he informs us how Marxism has already firmly established itself in a variety of fields:
Academia
Corporatism
Climate discussions
Media, including news and entertainment
Politics and especially the Democratic Party
Military
The book is packed with many secondary sources, ranging from Karl Marx to contemporary internet commenters and political thinkers from all points of view on the political spectrum. Levin summarizes and condenses, in his flowing and effervescent style, as he interprets various sources.
Levin demonstrates a slightly sarcastic tone in his humor. Snappy
sometimes accurately describes his responses. Vocal and fearless, his efforts to save us culminate in a book that presents a picture of contemporary America as a battleground between capitalism and Marxism. Wits, words, deeds, and, as always with Communism,
