She loves to create imaginative stories that encourages the reader, to escape into another world. Her short stories are written for children aged 5+. Mal was born in Malaysia and came to Australia when she was 11 years old. She completed her studies in Perth (Western Australia) and moved to Brisbane (Queensland) in 1994. She began her career in Health in 1995. Mal loves to share the crazy antics of her adorable pets, Benji, Chester and Eddie. Princess is her mother’s cat and Martin is the golden retriever who lives next door.
