About this ebook

"History of the Elder Gods" is the fourth volume within the continuing Journals of the Ancient Ones series, with each text written as a stand-alone book allowing them to be read in any order.  This volume begins with the incomprehensible realm prior to the Big Bang event, leading to the genesis of our physical universe with the eventual formation of cosmic structures and the later emergence of simple life.  Long before Earth's formation, a primordial intelligent species eventually emerged and attained vast achievements and great enlightenment, becoming the most accomplished lifeform within our physical realm.  That species ultimately formed a benefactor coalition with other like-minded alien beings, spreading civilization throughout the universe to eventually become known as the Ancient Ones.

Their travels eventually brought them to our solar system where an emerging humanlike species was developing on a planet beyond Earth.  Influences from both alien groups eventually spread to Earth, where they competed to implement very different directions for our planet, with that ancient rivalry apparently continuing into modern times.  Consequences from these two very different groups of extraterrestrials are revealed by the Elder Gods theory, which chronicles Earth's early development and mankind's emergence…from ancient aliens to modern UFOs.  The now-hidden nature of these beings since the fifth century is exposed, with potentially ominous repercussions for humanity's future.

    Master Plan

    ––––––––

It is highly unlikely that our physical world is merely a random accident of nature.  Rather, it seems that Divine Purpose underlies its very concept and existence, as well as the totality of creation that ultimately followed, which still continues to emanate throughout our modern universe.  However, humankind may not yet be sufficiently evolved to fully understand the procedure associated with the design process that led to the creation of our material realm, or even be capable of envisioning the full intent or purpose of this grand physical genesis.

While each new scientific discovery supplies additional bits of important data that assist in understanding and answering some of life's many mysteries; those same findings also seem to produce additional new questions.  Further inquiries often expose our presently accepted theory of existence and explanations for Earth's past history, along with the emergence of humankind, as being faulty and quite incomplete.

However, it would be unnecessary to formulate a new theory explaining Earth's past and humanity's emergence if our geological and archaeological records did not repeatedly contradict our present scientific explanation of a slow and progressive natural evolution, from the simple to the more complex.  But it is known that our present scientific theory contains numerous flaws and discrepancies.

Those many contradictions and inconsistencies include numerous exhumed organic fossils and inanimate anomalous artifacts that have been found within Earth's geological record, as well as their association with numerous ancient structural ruins; which all strongly contradict our prevailing theory.  These out-of-place anomalous relics, artifacts, and fossils have been fully detailed within the prior Journals of the Ancient Ones.  Additionally, other major inconsistencies can also be detected throughout Earth's ancient written records.

Together, such 'oddities' contradict what would be expected within a normal evolutionary progression from the simple to the more complex.  If humankind and its early civilizations had simply emerged from a prior slow but steady evolution from single cell life to dinosaurs, then to mammals that eventually developed into intellectual creatures, there would not be the numerous geological, organic, material, and historical contradictions that are known to exist.

Merely a few of these discrepancies and inconsistencies are revealed by the following examples.  First, Earth started with a planetary environment that included an early toxic atmosphere that was not conducive to life formation.  Yet single cell life readily emerged, which prevailed with little change for nearly three billion years.  Then suddenly, an abrupt emergence of sentient creatures occurred around 600 million years ago with the Cambrian 'explosion' of life.  Shortly thereafter, anomalous manufactured artifacts appeared, which were eventually found eons later within geographic strata dating to times long before any known intelligent earthly life could have possibly been responsible for their fabrication.

Perhaps as mysteriously, a later but erratic human lineage appeared, which contradicts both natural evolution and known genetic laws.  That was followed by a number of globally advanced 'technological' societies that thrived during Stone Age times, although having emerged without evidence of any prior developmental period.  Those societies were ultimately destroyed with the Great flood and its accompanying Pleistocene Extinction of circa 10,500 BC.  Yet a rapid reemergence of sophisticated societies occurred as early as 9600 BC, as civilization reappeared at a level equal to or more advanced than before that flood.  Mere millennia later, a sharp change in the direction of humankind on Earth can then be detected after c.3150 BC, along with a very noticeable regression in technological levels.  Hence, there should be some plausible explanation for these abrupt and inexplicable events, which our orthodox theory does not address or clarify.

For these reasons, a revolutionary new and controversial hypothesis, the Elder Gods theory, has been formulated by this author, which will be revealed in detail throughout this writing.  It supplies many, if not all of the missing elements pertaining to our most distant past, while also contemplating a larger underlying intent or Master Plan behind physical creation.  This unique theory speculates that interventions by two very different groups of otherworldly beings directly influenced our planet's early history and the development of earthly archaic life, perhaps in part at the direction or intent of a greater Divine Master Plan.

The first group of extraterrestrials evolved not long after the Big Bang event, during the initial formative period of our infant universe, gaining enlightenment and great wisdom after undergoing a difficult start.  They later met several different species of like-minded ancient aliens from distant worlds during their galactic travels.  Upon forming an alliance that included a combination of several other different species of early lifeforms, they eventually became known as the Ancient Ones.  They united under common mutual interests, fundamental convictions, and philosophical principles; and ultimately pledged to form a benefactor coalition intended to assist younger emerging worlds.  That primeval coalition represents the first of the two groups of extraterrestrial lifeforms previously mentioned.

After many billions of years, representatives from that contingency of 'enlightened' species eventually traveled into our solar system where life was first developing on a neighboring planet beyond Earth, long before humans existed on our world.  Contact was made with that emerging race, and much later those same younger outer planet beings from within our own solar system became a contributing factor in the genetic lineage of earthly humankind.  Still later, that same ancestral species then became instrumental in many of Earth's cultural developments that emerged after circa 3150 BC.  Evidence found within Earth's archaic record clearly indicates marked differences between these two groups of extraterrestrial beings.  The older originating group, the Ancient Ones, eventually became known on Earth in mythological records as the 'elder gods' during much later archaic times.  They were eventually displaced by the 'younger' gods mentioned in those same ancient texts; who were the beings from that outer planet beyond Earth.  Details of these two groups of ancient aliens will be revealed throughout this writing.

However, to expose the complete account of what appears to be our planet's true and correct history, this book actually commences before the Grand Beginning of everything tangible.  That refers to a period when our physical universe did not yet exist, when only an immaterial void of 'nonexistence' apparently prevailed.  Perhaps that non-material realm comprises what we more commonly refer to as the spiritual or ethereal plane.  That domain is typically described as a non-corporeal realm separate and distinct from our material world.

Since there was no physical space or time that existed during that original formative period, present science simply can not describe or explain that inexplicable realm's condition, actual substance, or environment; nor even fully comprehend what might have actually existed within such an 'exotic' domain.  However, from that ambiguous ethereal realm, it is speculated that the emergence of a deliberately created 'origin' for our physical universe simply started as a small void, one initially absent of any tangible mass.  Subsequently, some portal or inner-connection from that original non-corporeal realm ultimately released a massive amount of ethereal or 'pure' energy into that small void, unleashing the event we now call the Big Bang.

Such a grand genesis encompassed a period when time had not yet been created...when only a limited but dark expanse of 'nothingness' existed, which apparently occupied some unknown but finite size of an inexplicable and exotic non-material or spiritual domain.  While that realm held no physical matter, perhaps it contained a vacuum of vast 'nothingness.'  From within or perhaps even beyond that dark primordial domain, a massive amount of unbelievably immense energy was released; likely in the form of massive waves or streams, which was initiated with a brilliant blinding flash that ushered into existence 'something from nothing.'

From that massive primordial energy release, its ensuing energy-burst separated newly produced light from darkness, ushering in the Big Bang creation of our physical universe.  That original solitary point of existence, known as a singularity, thus became the center of our cosmos, which then began its expansion outward in all directions.  That same process also commenced the material commodities we know as time, space, and physical substance.

That massive energy release also created a momentary but quickly fleeting one-time inferno, generating an ultimately intense super-heated condition that was capable of forging the most fundamental particles of material reality from pure energy.  Since the initial moment of that Big Bang event, our physical universe has never again experienced such an extreme heat-condition, or ever since been able to physically create or duplicate such an ultimate temperature extreme anywhere within the known physical universe.

Conceivably, that primordial conversion of energy into substance first emerged as, or was immediately forged into, infinitesimally tiny vibrating strings, even smaller than subatomic particles in size.  Perhaps it was from those variously vibrating strings of energy, which existed as loops or strands, that then created the quantum particles of quarks and leptons, which in-turn ultimately formed the fundamental and distinctive parts of every atom.  Perhaps from the pure energy of those strings, the quarks and leptons that underlie all physical matter gained material substance.  Such speculation underlies the concepts of both String and Quantum Theory.

Ancient Sanskrit records seem to be aware of these fundamental particles, calling them monads.  Monads were claimed to be the earliest manifestation of energy into substance, forming the elemental particles, and later the early galaxies, and eventually even physical lifeforms.  Those ancient monads are most likely the elementary particles of quarks and leptons as known to modern science; the Universal Units ultimately forged from the Big Bang event, which can transform into and comprise anything, with unlimited variety and variability.

Sanskrit texts further reveal that monads had undergone transitory changes since their inception during the Big Bang manifestation of the universe, from inert matter to animated life.  Since matter can not be created from 'nothingness,' the origin of monads must have been pure energy, perhaps a commodity similar to that of the Creator.  Monads were described as both pure energy (a primordial Force) and also as physical matter, which were stated to be two forms of the same substance.  Fundamental elements were eventually formed from those monads, or the underlying quarks and leptons as we now call them, with ever increasingly complex compounds subsequently created from various combinations of those elementary particles.

Presently, modern science has determined that this unique Big Bang event occurred approximately 13.8 billions years ago.  One might question why our universe emerged only 13.8 billion years ago, rather than 20 billion or even 100 billion years ago; or why it has a specific starting date at all.  Should it not have existed for all time, back to infinity?  Such a finite starting point therefore seems to imply a finite ending point for our present cosmos.

Interestingly, ancient Sanskrit texts also suggest that seven prior universes had existed before our present one.¹  Those universes may have simply ended in a 'natural manner' and undergone some cosmic recycling process, perhaps in order to supply that massive initial energy release necessary to produce the next successive creation...that of our present universe.  But such speculation simply remains unconfirmed.

The prior belief that all the physical matter that currently exists (and will yet exist) within our presently expanding universe was originally compressed into the size of a pinhead is simply implausible.  According to that simple theory, that tiny but materially massive or dense 'point' purportedly then 'exploded' for some unknown reason, releasing all its concentrated mass, which would eventually comprise all the matter within our physical universe.  From an astrophysics perspective, that hypothesis is simply counterintuitive.

Such a massively compressed amount of matter would have created an unimaginable and densely packed black hole.  Any energy release (or initial explosion) great enough to propel light from such a immensely compacted 'gravity-well' mass would have likely also destroyed much, if not most, of its physical matter during that massive release of energy.  Further, the additional force necessary to overcome such dense gravitational forces would have simply been an immense waste of energy within such a grand creative process.  A Master Plan of creation as exquisite and complex as our physical universe would seemingly not have involved such an obviously inefficient and wasteful 'extra energy' requirement, which would ostensibly have been an initial impediment to creation.

Regardless, in an attempt to explain this epic event, might the conflicting theories of science and theology both be correct?  The ultimate results that emanated from this occurrence are not in dispute.  Physical matter was created (converted) from pure energy.  Material reality commenced and expanded in every direction after the Big Bang genesis, where nothing had previously existed.  Some unidentified source apparently triggered this monumental occurrence.

The mechanism involved in producing this material reality would have required a Grand Formulated Plan, a Master Plan involving an infinite number of variables that would simply be beyond any chance occurrence, or even the intellect of any conceivable physical being or super-computer.  Yet all indications seem to infer just such grand complexity as being associated with this Master Plan of creation, suggesting an Intelligent Design behind this process.

Science has determined that just the right amount of energy-release was required to produce the Big Bang outcome that occurred, thus allowing physical reality to ensue.  The release of too little energy would have resulted in an 'explosion' that would have simple collapsed back upon itself due to gravitational forces, with nothing being created.  The release of too much energy would have caused the fundamental subatomic particles that were subsequently forged to have been dispersed or propelled too widely, and thus never allowed to collide or interact with one another.  Then the underlying basis for all reality would have never occurred, either as the infinitesimally small vibrating strings proposed by String Theory, or the subatomic particles of quarks and leptons as described by quantum physics.  Those fundamental particles would have failed to emerge and combine into atoms, with nothing ever being formed as the ultimate result.

It has been determined that our universe is expanding faster now than at the dawn of the Big Bang event, due to a strange phenomenon known as 'gravitational repulsion,' a kind of anti-gravity effect.  An enigmatic force within the cosmos called dark energy is thought to be the cause of that repulsion.  Our present faster rate of expansion is thought to indicate that the universe is likely to continue expanding into infinity without end, rather than collapsing back upon itself.²  However, this expansion process could slow or abruptly end sometime in the future, thus altering that supposition.

In any case, there can be little doubt that some grand intelligence was behind the Big Bang event and the emergence of our physical domain.  By whatever definition or concept one might refer to that supreme intelligence, The Creator is accepted as that source.  According to most religious beliefs, there is only one universal and supreme Creator.  Yet this Supreme Source is known by numerous different names within the various religious beliefs that have existed over the ages.  Therefore, perhaps all religions merely reflect diverse expressions referring to the same Creator, although defined by different perceptions held by the followers within each of those individual faiths.

Perhaps this theological difference emerges from the use of the term 'God.'  Any reference to God seems to invoke a specific but often different Supreme Being associated with each separate religious belief; therefore conjuring up multiple concepts and numerous deities.  But when the term 'Creator' is substitute for 'God,' nearly everyone is left with the same impression or concept.  The Creator or Supreme Being is universally thought to be the unseen and ultimate force responsible for the creation of our physical universe.  No further designation or description seems necessary to identify that Ultimate Entity.

Humans have acknowledged some form of Higher Power since primordial times.  Such an all-powerful source from which everything emerged was acknowledged by our ancient ancestors as The Creator, an unseen entity that remained incomprehensible and formless.  Those earliest ancestors also referred to that Entity by several other names, including the All-Maker, The Supreme, The One, and The Source; but never used the term 'God'.³  Colonel James Churchward revealed from his research and exploration of archaic cultures that an ancient Naga copy of the Sacred Naacal Writings from India claimed that the Creator was 'incomprehensible,' and as such could not be named or described.  Hence, the Creator was known as the Nameless within those archaic writings.⁴  The use of the human term God became a relatively later occurrence, and may have started as a description for other superior physical beings that were considered to be above humans, but below the level of the unseen Creator.

The concept of a universal Creator was first recorded in the Egyptian Pyramid Texts, with its oldest extant reference dated to c.2500 BC.  But that record is believed to be a reaffirmation of an even earlier one from c.3100 BC, although its true origin definitely dates back to predynastic times long before written records.  According to the Pyramid Texts, the Creator is the Very Old One, the One, the Oldest One, the Lord of All, the Great One, and the Primeval One; stating that the Creator was: ...the one who has been completed by absorbing others.⁵  That same record stated that the Creator existed before heaven, Earth, the gods, humans, or before anything else ever came into existence.  Still other references appeared throughout subsequent writings within the Pyramid Texts that claimed the Creator was: He whose name is not known,⁶ referring to the Highest Entity within the entire universe.

Cosmological accounts contained within Hymn 10.129 of the Rig Veda of Ancient India referred to the Creator as That One.  Paraphrasing that verse, it claimed That One existed first, coming into being spontaneously, without being inspired or produced by another.  That hymn essentially claimed that nothing existed in the beginning except That One, during a period when there was only 'darkness hidden by darkness.'  Everything intended that had the potential of 'becoming' was hidden by a 'shell,' and was born through the power of its own heat.  That One became the 'first seed of mind,' creating from desire alone.  Forces were also created, with potential 'below' and emanation 'above.'  This hymn further claims that there were initially 'seed depositors' (perhaps comets, asteroids, or meteorites), while the 'gods' came later, after their creation by That One, the Creator.⁷

Since the material realm did not exist prior to the Big Bang genesis, simple logic would conclude that the Intelligence behind that event, the Creator, is not a physical entity.  The Creator apparently resides within the domain from which that original immense 'pure energy' was initially released, which was then used to power the emergence of our material realm.  While that originating domain appears to be the spiritual realm, it might also contain the sub-atomic or quantum realm.  That assumption is supported by certain ancient texts that seem to indicate the Big Bang event began elsewhere, claiming that all things originated from the spiritual realm.⁸

Apparently the Creator can also access and has direct 'compatibility' with our physical domain, although I strongly believe that the Creator has never taken nor assumed any physical shape or form.  Such an occurrence would greatly limit any spiritual entity, even the Creator, by confining them or It to constraints imposed by the physical laws of our domain.  If making a presence within the material realm, the Creator would seemingly convey Its presence in some non-corporeal fashion, thus remaining unrestrained by the conventional laws of physics.

Common within numerous ancient records was the belief that the whole cosmos sprang solely from Divine Thought.  From that thought process, fundamental spores that were 'thought' into existence by the Creator then generated the physical universe.  According to archaic Sanskrit literature, Kriyasakti was that mysterious power of thought that enabled the Creator to produce external, concrete results by Its own inherent energy.⁹  The Egyptians held a similar belief according to the Cosmogony of Iamblichus, which claimed that intellect and reason first existed before all else, and thus accounts for the creation of the world (universe).¹⁰  The ancient Egyptian historian, Iamblichus, further stated: ...the doctrine of the Egyptians concerning the principles inculcates the origin of all things from One...with the Supreme Unity the cause of all things.¹¹

The Jewish Cabala (aka Kabbalah) also describes the genesis creation to be the result of a Divine Thought process; revealing that the first Kabbalists spoke of 'Thought' as a primordial act within the process of creation.¹²  Gnostic texts also declare the beginning of the physical universe as coming from the Will of God, the creative power of thought by God-the-Mind, where a cosmos was made by means of her (the Mother Creator's) own elements.¹³  The Bible refers to this same thought process as the Word, spoken in order to bring the material realm into existence.  This Voice of the Will was known as Memrab, meaning the Word or Logos, which was also known as Dabar in other Hebrew texts.¹⁴

Commentary on the epic Mahabharata of India further supports this concept of 'thought creation.'  Within those commentaries, the Creator, the Self-Created, is described as the Inspiriter of matter,¹⁵ with the physical realm Born from His will [Mind-Born]; meaning willed into existence.¹⁶  The Secret Doctrine also stated that the universe was created from a process that sprung from divine thought.¹⁷  Stanza V.2. in the Book of Dzyan, along with its commentaries, introduced and defined a commodity known as Fohat.  Fohat was the power of the Will of the Creative Logos; the creative force that brought together the elemental atoms, ¹⁸ infusing cosmic matter from energy and hardening the atoms.  In its totality, as manifest Divine Thought, it created by Will...the manifested plane.¹⁹  Through this force, as the Messenger of...Will,²⁰ the ideas and thoughts of the Creator, the ultimate universal mind, thus became physical reality.  However, over the ages, the ancient term Fohat underwent numerous changes in its meaning, resulting in several different interpretations and definitions within various translations, which were then also used throughout later occult teachings in totally unrelated ways.

Modern reinterpretation of these various ancient sources and translations pertaining to this 'spoken' or 'mind' process may reveal a simple explanation.  The meaning of thought or word might best be described in modern times as preplanning or design.  That refers to the engineering and formulation of the basic underlying particles and rules, such as the laws of physics, biology, chemistry, and thermodynamics, under which those particles would ultimately interact within a precisely balanced energy-released environment.  Once perfectly implemented, that genesis process would then proceed on its own to create the intended physical realm, without any further intervention necessary by the Creator.

It appears that the elementary particles simply followed a prescribed Law or Code, which would then bring about the universe, as intended under the Master Plan of the Creator.  That process could not have been a random occurrence, due to the extreme energy requirement and massive temperature involved, as well as the complexity of interactions associated with that grand event and its precise balance of everything involved.

The Hermetic record states: "Before all things that essentially exist, there is one God (the Creator)...remaining immovable in the solitude of his unity (as a sole entity); for neither is the Intelligible immixed with him, nor any other thing (i.e. the Creator acted alone, without help).²¹  That record continues: For he is something greater, and the first; the fountain of all things, and the root of all primary Intelligible existing forms.²²  This implies that all creation originated with and from the Creator, along with all intellect; but emanations (later creations or 'outcomes') resulting from that Master Plan would simply build upon that original 'commencement of reality,' and thus expand upon that creative process.  Related ancient Egyptian records further confirm that same creation principle, claiming it: ...inculcates the origin of all things from One...which the many are again held to be under the supreme government of the One."²³

    Chapter 2

    Big Bang Mechanics

    ––––––––

The Big Bang theory was first formulated by Georges Lemaître and later expanded and proposed in scientific terms by Dr. George Gamow in 1948, along with his students Ralph Alpher and Robert Herman (while also crediting Hans Bethe, in name only).  They predicted that the 'echo' left by that original genesis event, essentially its afterglow, would have cooled down after billions of years, imparting the universe with a chilly radiation about five degrees above absolute zero.  Later empirical cosmic measurements have since determined the temperature of the Big Bang's actual background radiation to be 2.7 degrees Kelvin,¹ essentially affirming Dr. Gamow's predicted effect and his rather close temperature approximation.  The ubiquitous or 'pesky' background noise that fills the heavens with constant static is that same remnant radiation left from the Big Bang's afterglow.

The proposed theory explaining the mechanism or process emanating from the Big Bang event has required many centuries of empirical observations, scientific advancements, and cosmic discoveries; along with complex analytical thought and conjecture to reconstruct even its most basic and probable method of implementation describing this genesis event.  Yet some of humanity's most archaic cultures possessed essentially the same descriptive narrative of that event, many millennia before our modern scientists.  That would seemingly require ancient man to have observed the distant or earliest regions of our infant cosmos in order to have ultimately arrived at the same descriptive conclusions.  But that seems illogical and unlikely.

A similar conundrum would likewise apply to the astronomical comprehension possessed by numerous ancient cultures.  Their knowledge would have required physical observation and record keeping by literate humans over at least tens of thousands of years, along with the invention and utilization of scientific tools and devices such as an ancient version of the Hubble Telescope, data collecting satellites, and specialty space probes.  Yet no physical evidence or indication of such devices has ever been found within Earth's archaic geologic or historical record that would confirm such hardware might have once existed during our remote past.

Yet ancient cultures apparently possessed a fundamental understanding of cosmology that rivaled our 20th and 21st century knowledge.  That knowledge occurred long before Earth's first successful launch of an artificial satellite in 1957, or implementation of the Hubble Telescope in 1990 (with 1993 optics correction), along with numerous other scientific data-gathering projects such as the often-referenced and highly definitive 1998 Project Boomerang study.  Conclusions from that empirical study actually correspond with descriptions contained in numerous ancient texts, once those records were 'reinterpreted' from a modern scientific perspective.

The absence of physical evidence confirming any archaic scientific probes or devices tends to suggest ancient cultures might have inherited or were supplied with that information, rather than acquiring it through their own efforts and observations.  It is probable that such imparted knowledge would not have been fully understood or sufficiently comprehended by the primitive culture receiving it, and could have been misinterpreted or distorted as those facts were handed down to subsequent generations.  Yet numerous ancient accounts seem to accurately describe the Big Bang event, paralleling levels of understanding only recently achieved by modern science.

In fact, the concept and knowledge of outer space was seemingly well known to many ancient cultures.  The vast expanse of outer space was known as the cosmic ocean or the cosmic waters.  In archaic manuscripts, those 'waters' were often differentiated from the earthly bodies of water contained within our oceans and seas; referring to the 'waters of heaven above the firmament,' or the 'waters below the firmament.'  The firmament that divided those different waters was never adequately described or specifically defined in ancient texts, but was believed to be the division where the last level of our outermost atmosphere ends; separating terrestrial Earth from the void of outer space.²  The ancient Hindus spoke of the Upper Ocean or Universal Sea in the Puranas, stating that there were seven islands separated by seven oceans,³ which surrounded and encircled the Earth.

Perhaps a preeminent example of ancient cosmological knowledge is found in the often disparaged, misunderstood, and controversial manuscript known as the Book of Dzyan.  Arguably, that compilation may be one of the oldest extant texts of Earth.  A Sanskrit version found in Tibet, one allegedly written on palm leaves and translated from its original Sensar language, is believed to be its oldest known form.

A side-by-side comparison of excerpts from that text, along with a modern interpretation, was presented in the Second Journal of the Ancient Ones, Legacy of the Elder Gods.  In that comparison, ancient terminology, which would have seemed insignificant to us before achieving our present scientific understanding, is actually quite similar to modern descriptions of newly discovered cosmic structures and their formation process; providing further suggestive evidence for its 'imparted' status.⁴

Our modern cosmological knowledge has now evolved sufficiently to describe the Big Bang event within accepted scientific terms.  That process was described in the earlier Journals of the Ancient Ones,⁵ with a brief recap included here.  Within a microsecond after initiation of that genesis event, as a concurrent result of the immense heat and energy release from that act, an extremely dense subatomic primordial cosmic sea emerged.  At that same instant, the universe began to expand in all directions and cool down, never to experience or attain such an immense temperature extreme or heat-inferno again.  However, the resulting primordial inflation and subsequent condensation continued to occur, even during present times.

The unique and intense heat and pressure that occurred at the very beginning of this genesis inferno produced the first ever conversion of energy into mass, forming the basic subatomic particles of leptons and quarks, the first creation of physical matter.⁶  Those particles also carried a predetermined 'code' from which order would ensue and the universe would be built.  The Book of Dzyan, along with its ancient commentaries, consistently refers to a World-germ.  That term is further defined as Seed, apparently referring to the elementary particles of quarks and leptons forged during the Big Bang event from which everything would ultimately form.

The instantaneous energy and particle release from that genesis event is further believed to have created a bubble, web, or veil that encapsulated this furious expansion.  That bubble became the ever-expanding and flexible fabric of 'space-time,' which enshrouds our physical universe.  The Big Bang energy release propelled the fundamental particles in all directions, inflating that envelope of space-time and displacing the void of nothingness that initially encompassed its single-point of origin.

That genesis inferno also ushered in additional new commodities, such as cosmic strings (which are different commodities from the energy strands described by String Theory) around which particles could collect, along with the formation of energy forces, and a massive release of photons.  Photons are the particles of light that exhibit the unique characteristic of possessing zero mass.  They belong to the family of carrier or exchange particles known as gauge bosons.  Gauge bosons are the particles that convey forces between other particles.  Such energy forces are believed to exist and apply uniformly everywhere within the universe.  They include both the gravitational (the weakest of all four forces, but the one that works over the greatest range) and the electromagnetic forces (that also act over an unlimited distance).  In addition, the lesser-known strong and weak nuclear forces (which work over a microscopic distance within atoms) also exist; perhaps along with an unknown fifth force yet to be discovered or understood.⁷

The initial formation of physical structures within the primordial universe required interaction between all those commodities.  That formation commenced with elementary particles that comprise all matter, which can not be further divided or destroyed, only exchanged or converted.  Hence, everything physical is comprised of those quarks and leptons, nothing more or less.  The simple and solitary leptons, which consist of six structureless particles (plus their associated antiparticles), include the electrons and neutrinos.  However, quarks act in a more complex fashion, and comprise six different types or flavors (plus their six oppositely charged antiparticles), some of which act in combination to form protons and neutrons.⁸

Ultimately, those earliest subatomic particles of charged protons and neutral neutrons eventually arranged to form a nucleus, which later crashed together with free electrons (formed from leptons) in a chain reaction of continuous collisions.  Eventually, those primordial components bonded together via energy forces, forming the unified structure of the atom, the basic building block of everything physical.

The earlier mentioned cosmic strings are speculated to have provided the initial gravitational forces and nucleating sites around which the various types of quarks and leptons gathered, eventually resulting in the unification of the first atoms.  Such cosmic strings are thought to be extremely dense but infinitesimally thin structures, perhaps even hollow tubes, which possess massive gravitational forces along with certain other remarkable properties.⁹

However, the Standard Model of particle physics also predicts and purports that an invisible and fundamental energy field, known as the Higgs Field, also exists uniformly throughout the universe.  It is thought that this field helped bring the initially produced subatomic particles together, and further allows some elementary particles to gain mass.  Existence of this field was apparently confirmed by experiments attempting to detect its related elementary particle, the Higgs boson (aka the 'God' particle), within CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC).  Those particle accelerator experiments propelled protons at near light speed at super low temperatures to apparently detect the elusive Higgs particle from the resultant collisions, with tentative confirmation of its discovery announced in 2013.¹⁰

After the Big Bang event, as numerous new protons and neutrons formed, they eventually bonded together to form additional nuclei.  Those pairings then randomly attracted an oppositely charged electron(s), which orbited around each nucleus.  The electron(s), orbiting at tremendous speed around its nucleus, created a shell (or shells comprising various layers) around each bonded atom.  All of these unified atomic structures are held together by electromagnetic forces of attraction.  Distinct atoms differ from one another by the number of electrons, protons, and neutrons comprising each elemental atomic structure.

The number of protons in the nucleus of an atom determines the composition of every chemical element, with that quantity denoting the atomic number of each specific element.  Atoms are further differentiated by their atomic weights, based mainly on the weight of their nucleus in comparison with the carbon-12 atom, which is used as an arbitrary basis of measure.  When two atoms have the same atomic number but different atomic weights, they are classified as isotopes of that base element.  Elements are further grouped or organized in their order of increasing atomic number and weight, as arranged within chemistry's Periodic Table.

According to the recognized governing body, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), as of 2013 there were 114 base elements recognized on the Periodic Table; 92 of which are naturally occurring.  At least four additional substances have been 'produced' or 'separated' from other compounds and are presently under evaluation for authentication and possible inclusion, which could increase that number to at least 118 'acknowledged' elements.  However, some superheavy candidates have only been produced from particle acceleration experiments, while certain other rare and exotic elements are a resultant product from the quick decay of other heavier ones, thus prohibiting their extensive study.  The complexity of the universe occurs when these basic elements or 'building blocks' interact or combine with each other to produce numerous usable compounds.

At roughly 400,000 years after the Big Bang event, the universe was only 1/1,100th (0.091%) of its current size, and was governed by much simpler laws of physics.¹¹  At that time, the cosmos had cooled enough for protons and electrons to form hydrogen,
