Ansie Ehrke was born and raised in a tiny farming town called Paulpietersburg set on the edge of Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa.

From a very young age, Ansie found comfort in writing poetry and short stories. To her, the world seemed bleak without at least three open books leading to an adventure on every page.

While losing her mother to cancer at the mere age of 11 years took its toll on how she imagined her life would be, the world still needed to be storied.

With encouragement and inspiration from her husband, two lively children and Creative Partner, Corey Horth, she set out to sate avid reader's hunger and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon!

Corey Horth, Ansie’s Creative Partner, wasn’t satisfied with life and existence on Earth as a teenager. Thus, he began dreaming up storylines and characters of science fiction and fantasy. When he was 20 years old, he went to art school for 2 years and learned to paint and draw quite well. At the request of his teacher, he travelled to Italy to see their beautiful art, architecture and culture.

Later, he took Creative writing and Journalism classes and soon learned that his ideas were much better than his writing skills. Deciding to earn a living, he became an electrician and technician.

For hobbies, he loves to ride his bike, discover quality graffiti, search for historical landmarks and learn about them.

At the age of 51, he really wanted to tell some amazing stories and decided to find a partner who was equally creative and could tell these stories with a skilled written word. Ansie Ehrke has been a true inspiration to him. She has presented countless amazing ideas to accompany his and together they are writing a series of fantasy books which will take you on a wonderful, exciting adventure.

    The Last Garden

Atara strikes Jenny full force, knocking her to the ground and yells, This is not a game, Jenny! This is life in Olerium! This is your destiny!

Jenny, knowing that Atara only means well, can’t help but feel anger boiling inside her. She knows that her own world depends on her; although no one on Earth knows it yet. She knows that Olerium also depends on her and here, EVERYONE knows it. Jenny also knows that she has come a long way from being a carefree girl living in an ordinary world to being trained by a martial arts master in a world different from her own.

Yes, this is her destiny. It is crystal-clear. But she is tired. Tired of training and tired of expecting the unexpected. Atara needs to understand this. Jenny silently begs her to have empathy but all Atara seems to be interested in is getting Jenny in immaculate shape as soon as possible.

Jenny? I said, let’s do this from the top one more time! Atara snaps Jenny from her thoughts.

Jenny feels frustration getting the best of her. I wish… I wish… I wish… she thinks.

Atara yells as her sword is yanked from her hand. She suddenly flies a couple of feet into the air and lands on the ground with a thud. Within a split second, Atara’s sword strikes the ground on her left. Jenny’s sword follows suit and strikes to her right. Atara’s chest is compressed as she realizes the swords have trapped her in position.

Glimmering in the bright sunlight, both swords pulsate with energy, waiting for permission to complete the motion and end Atara’s life.

Jenny, stop! Jingles shouts as she jumps up; fully alert.

Jenny, realizing what she has just done, gasps and exclaims, No! Atara, are you alright?

    As she utters the words,
