Introduction
In the days of old, God spoke through his prophets as they warned the people of their sins and their need to repent.
In the New Testament, we learned that God mainly spoke through his Son, of whom He was, and is, very pleased.
Today, our Lord has many messengers to speak for Him about his abundant mercy, love, and amazing grace. I am honored to be called to serve as one of these messengers.
In this book, I want to talk to you about Christianity. You have probably heard of it. But, what have you heard about Christianity? Who did you hear it from? Your parents? A friend? A TV evangelist? The kid next door? Did you hear the truth? Are you sure you have learned facts, and not just rumors and lies?
In either case, I want to give you a brief course in Christianity. It’s time you heard the truth, the real truth. I don’t mean the fluffy stuff people talk about today. I mean God’s truth, as found in the Bible.

So what is Christianity? Well, Christianity is pretty simple actually. It's all about one perfect life, the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
The Bible teaches that Jesus was God Himself, who came to live in this world as a human being for a time.
Jesus was Jewish; in fact he was a Jewish Rabbi. You can’t get any more Jewish than that. The Bible is a Jewish book, written by and for Jews mostly, until we get to the gospels and the remainder of the New Testament. Actually, most of it was written by and for Jews also. The apostle Paul and those who travelled with him were the exceptions; they went to the Gentiles, the non-Jewish people.
The Jewish prophet, John the Baptist, declared that Jesus was the perfect Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world
- John 1:29. That term Lamb of God
meant something to the Jewish folk. They knew all about sacrificing lambs.
The central message of Christianity is that Jesus Christ is the Son of
