41 Medicinal Plants for Healthy Living
INTRODUCTION.
Since ancient times natural remedies, herbs and medicinal plants were a fundamental part of our lives, as well as our evolution. From the Indigenous of South, Central and North America, to the Sumerians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Egyptians and Romans as well as the African and Asian cultures, were participants and witnesses of the richest naturopathic culture known. For the western cultures Hippocrates and Galen were the fathers of modern medicine, although this is only a point of view, since both Hippocrates in 340 BC, like Galen in 170 AD, were preceded by an innumerable amount of information which, at that time, was transmitted orally, and there were not many written records of it. As a result, through their discoveries and research, they forged the pillars of modern medicine, with the only desire to help their neighbor. This is the essence that we want to rescue, that of the great masters who were not contaminated with today's pharmaceutical mercantilism. We will try to resort to the Galenic and Hippocratic treaties, the teachings of Theophrastus, Pliny the Elder, Paracelsus, etc. In this manual we will try to unite both worlds. The medicine recipes from ancient wisemen, transmitted from generation to generation, plants and remedies that have been hidden in some book, or in grandmothers eager to share them, and the recent researches on chemical composition of those medicinal herbs, their contents, posology, active principles, benefits and contraindications.
This is a practical manual, where not only we are going to teach you about 30 medicinal plants, (with photos so that there is no confusion), but we are also going to talk about their active principles, diseases and illnesses that can be treated with them and the different forms of preparation that each one has, not only in the different ways of activating them, infusion, maceration, tincture, mother oil, decoction, but also the different parts of them that can be used, like leaves, flowers, bark, root, stem, etc...
I hope you enjoy it, but more than anything I want it to be extremely useful. The writer has studied medicinal plants and minerals in all their forms for over 40 years and is still learning, so if you have any questions, after reading this manual you can find me on my Facebook.
And I will gladly answer you, right away, thank you very much for your support and happy reading

Respiratory system, obesity, arthritis, uric acid, cholesterol, hypertension.
The birch is considered by experts as the great ally of our kidneys, among other benefits to our health. The leaves of the birch are attributed with diuretic, antiseptic properties at the urinary level, febrifuge, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, antihypertensive, analgesic, astringent, hemostatic, healing, remineralizing, vitamin and detoxifying.
Birch leaves infusion helps to lose weight because it contains flavonoids, specifically myricitrin, which increases the diuretic process, reducing the probability of retaining liquids and increasing the purification of the organism. Since the consumption of this infusion stimulates the functioning of the kidneys, it is the perfect treatment to help the kidneys eliminate toxins from the whole organism, as well as allowing the kidneys to function normally without suffering any kind of irritation.
HOW TO PREPARE.
