We’re in a war against Satan, said Pastor Arnold. He stood before us in the chapel with his wife in a chair to his right. As camp director, he planned all the activities for attendees, but most importantly, he oversaw our religious development. Satan will test you. He has already tested you. Tall and athletic, he paced back and forth on the stage. His voice boomed, Will you accept Jesus in your life?

I will! shouted one of the mothers in the audience.

Me too! said another.

Parents sat with their children, some would stay the week and help at Willow Lake Bible Camp.

Pastor Arnold, a man in his early thirties, stalked the stage like a caged tiger. He oozed charisma, and his eyes flashed with intensity. He had fired up the congregation, a group of the most faithful. Many had waited years for the invitation to this exclusive, week-long intensive Bible camp.
