Puppy Home

At the end of the week that we had arranged we would pick up Mr Fudge, we had everything that we needed for him ready. He was so perfect and loved running all around the house and garden. But my God, we definitely knew we had him home; he was into everything! We had got him all kinds of puppy toys, but his favourites were a blue material duck, and a squeaky doughnut, both of which were filled with stuffing.

In our house, we had a corner suite that Mr Fudge used to run round in circles, even going behind it along the side of the wall. Within an hour, we heard clunk, clunk, clunk, coming from behind the settee. I looked over it to see what Mr Fudge was doing; he was only chewing on the electric cables for the lamp we had behind the corner suite! We quickly pulled out the settee and got Mr Fudge out, then blocked off each end of the corner suite with whatever we could find to stop him from getting
