About this ebook

When Jesus, hanging on the cross, said, “It is Finished”, He did not mean that there was nothing else for us to do. What He finished was the WAY – the Way for us to get back to God, the Way for us to be saved. THE WAY OF SACRIFICE. He also said, “not everyone who Says Lord, Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven but he who DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN.” That is what this book is. It is prayers for those who are “called by His Name” to awaken, rise up and become who He created you to be and do what He created you to do. You cannot do that in your own will, in your own strength. You can ONLY be who He created you to be by SACRIFICING your will for HIS WILL.

I would like to share a moment of prayer with all of you there at Westbow who will be connected with this book in any way, if you would open your spirit. Lord Jesus, I ask for your anointing, guidance, and favor on each person touching this book. I realize, Lord, that I am not a great writer, but I know that You gave me the content of this little book. I know that at this time in our country, in our churches, in our families, Your remnant needs to hear these words. Lord, let Your Holy Spirit touch and guide the editing, formatting, printing, and marketing of this book. Not for me, Lord Jesus. You don’t owe me anything. But for your remnant, Lord, for those of us who are to rise up in this crucial time in history and take our places in the body of Christ. Let us return to You.

    PREFACE

Remnant: 1. What is left over; remainder; residue. 2. A trace; the remaining indication of what has been. (Webster’s Dictionary)

This is what we are, the remaining indication of what has been. Like the remnant of a bolt of cloth, usually held on to for scraps or patching or maybe just to be discarded or thrown out. Be we, as the remnant, are of utmost importance to the Lord and His church. We are what is left from the original. Isaiah 58:11–12 (KJV) reads, And the Lord shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat your bones, and you shalt be like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. And they that shall be of you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations, and you shall be called, The Repairers of the breach, The Restorers of the paths to dwell in. Do you hear that? There is still a remnant. We are that remnant. Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been like Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. (Isaiah 1:9 KJV).
