About this ebook

A testament of brokenness, Broken for Assignment was inspired by author Lorna Grace Sippo’s challenges that continually occurred in her life. Even though she loves God and is completely committed to him and his kingdom, there were seasons when she felt her life didn’t make sense. Nonetheless, she had a promise, on the one hand, and God’s purpose, on the other hand, to fulfill. She didn’t give up. She kept on walking with God, pressing on relentlessly and tirelessly.

Throughout the journey, Sippo realized God cannot use a vessel that hasn’t been processed. Is it possible these events were God’s way of processing her so she could yield completely to his purpose for her life? The processing was necessary, and although it was a difficult experience, Sippo understood gold can only be refined and become beautiful when it goes through fire.

Broken for Assignment narrates Sippo’s emotional but true story of a journey of brokenness, showcasing God’s way of doing things. It reflects God’s beauty in pruning and shaping. It highlights that walking with God demands intimacy, and the fruit is brokenness. It is a pathway toward promotion. In other words, the promise is obtainable by God’s standard.

    Dedication and Acknowledgments

This book is dedicated first to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my Deliverer, who has loved me unconditionally and held my hand as I have walked this path with him. He keeps radiating in my life. I also dedicate Broken for Assignment to the memory of Rev. Samuel Sippo (my late husband) for the absolute support he gave me, demonstrating trust and confidence in what God was doing in me. My children Diamond, Ephraim, Esther, and Berachah always have been a large part of my experiences. I dedicate this book to them for their patience and complete trust in their mom’s leadership as they followed the path, I led them on.

I am grateful and thankful to God for Apostles Moses and Nathalie Mukwiza, my spiritual parents, for their spiritual covering, untiring support, and spiritual guidance, which has been key in my life. I am also thankful for Rev. Gledy Wariebi’s mentorship and practical directives in certain areas of my life. Finally, I thank Mrs. Pheletta Kayea for giving of her time to help with this project.

I am thankful for all of you who made this project a success and a blessing.

Broken for Assignment represents an interesting piece of work that mirrors God’s handiwork in the journey of brokenness. It moves from a position of being knowledgeable and brilliant to a position of trust and total dependence. It presents the realities and facts of life concerning how God’s creative abilities break and then reshape a vessel so he can use it. This is part of my testament of brokenness. This book was inspired by the range of challenges that kept occurring in my life. Even though I loved God and was completely committed to him and his kingdom, there were seasons when I felt my life did not
