CROSSWORLDZ
On a rather hot day, Leo and Jack were coming back very tired from the Saintbury School of London. Their PE teacher, Mr. Speedmaster, made them run more than two kilometres under the blazing sun. Leo also accidently threw a sharp pencil at their friend Tom, and they both received detention for two weeks straight. Great, this is the best day of my life. Hooray!
Leo said sarcastically. When they reached home, they dragged themselves up the stairs and climbed onto their beds.
They decided that they would tell their mom about their forgettable day. While sharing, they realized this would get them grounded; but before they could run back to their room, Mom said, "Both of you, back to bed. You are grounded at home, and you can only step out to go to school or for a super-duper urgent emergency. Go back to your room now."
When they arrived, they stared at each other and decided that they would sneak out of the house and take a bicycle ride through London with their water bottles, backpacks, and helmets.
They crawled down the stairs, careful not to step on the second step to the bottom because that step always made a very creaky and loud sound since they moved into this house. They got their bicycles and jumped on it with their water bottle in their backpack on their back. Go,
Jack whispered carefully to not alert the angry Mom.
They sped off, and after about five minutes of riding, they stumbled across their favorite ice cream shop called Buy the Delight and Be Mind-blown. Jack quickly took out some of his emergency pocket money and handed it to the shopkeeper. Pleasure doing business with you, Jackie,
the shopkeeper said.
They continued riding through London, and when they came across a junction, they were supposed to take a right turn to go home. But without talking, they both took a left turn at the junction, which led them to a forest that they had never been to before.
They cycled through the forest until they reached a door. It was labeled the door of mysteries, and without a doubt, they jumped off their bicycles and slowly walked in without knowing what they were doing. Before they realized that it was a bad idea, the door of mysteries closed behind them. Their only choice was to walk through the damp tunnel and see where they came out.
