Chosen
Eye SPY with my little eye a new
beginning…
They had been chosen. Out of thousands of groups in the FBI youth program, they were chosen to go on a mission. It was going to be big. This would be their first real mission; they were assigned to break into the bank and take the money that had been stolen from the citizens by the evil bank manager, Sir. No one knew why he had taken it, but that was soon to be discovered…
Scott, Catherine, check your emails!
Keona was overjoyed. They were in the middle of a silent English classroom when they got the email.
The class turned to Keona as she rudely broke the silence.
Shut up Keona! It’s reading day!
Scott exclaimed.
OMG! Seriously Scott! Check your emails!
This time it was Catherine; she was the kind one. She was always doing her hardest at school while Scott procrastinated, and Keona fantasized.
Shut up! No one cares.
exclaimed a few other students in the class.
Class! That’s enough!
shrieked the teacher.
She glared at the three of them. Now, this is not the first time you three have interrupted the class this morning.
It’s not like anyone’s actually doing their work
Scott had a habit of accidently letting words slip out of his mouth like that.
Young man!
The teacher was not impressed. Is that back chatting I hear?
Back chatting? Me? Never!
He truly tried to make his words not sound too sarcastic.
And you’re doing it again! That’s a detention. For all three of you! I’ll be seeing you next Friday, after school in the school basement.
The audacity of some people Keona thought.
As I’m sure you can imagine, they were not impressed with the rash decision their teacher made. But that was soon to be discovered as the last problem of getting a detention…
That afternoon, when the bell rang, the three of them left school as quickly as they could.
They were on a mission… or so one would think by looking at them. They were marching alongside the footpath like solders, bound for battle. Or at least two of them where; Keona seemed to be distracted by the little butterfly flying between the flowers.
They were on their way to the FBI headquarters, where they would receive an outline of their mission, and anything else they needed to know in order to make
