About this ebook

Since the beginning of creation, man and woman are created as two spiritual beings. However, sin came into the world and exposed the nakedness of man. Evil and wickedness have now become a part of man’s nature. The serpent that tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden was known to be the devil. However, he came under disguise then exposed the forbidden fruit when he tempted Eve. Eve failed in the temptation, which exposed man to his sinful nature.
Although we are living in a physical world, there is spiritual wickedness that keeps taking place without the natural man’s understanding. Almost every day, there’s violence, killing, and all kind of evil that continues to plague the earth. This is why the scripture tells the readers, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph. 6:12, KJV). However, the word of God gave the believers some spiritual weapons to counter the devil’s wicked devices, such as the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, and the shield of faith (Eph. 6:14–17). This is why the word of God, the Holy Spirit, is our protection.

    About the Author

    Acknowledgments

I would like to acknowledge the people who have helped make a difference, and a big impact in my life—my children and three grandchildren and my brothers Brian and Brenton: thanks for always being there for me and for believing in me. You have all inspired me by letting me know that nothing is impossible.

I would also like to acknowledge my ex-husband, Paul. Thanks for your faithfulness and your kindness. You always have a kind and willing heart. You always ready to give a helping hand, even when you have so much to carry. You all have been a great asset by helping me see my dreams come through. I furthermore know that without the help of God in my life, I would be nothing. I just thank God for the ability and the opportunity.

I would like to acknowledge my pastor, Dr. Clifford Clarke, who also helps me in my study and preparation for the ministry. He has counseled me time and time again when I was feeling overwhelmed with the burdens of life and during the times when I was feeling discouraged.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

    The Holy Spirit Has to

    Reveal It from a Physical

    Manifestation to a Spiritual

    Transformation

All Scriptures are taken from the King James Version:

Since I was a child, while growing up, I can remember the times when I would go and pray for people who needed prayer or a word. Sometimes I could predict what the person was going through and what would happen in that person’s life, not knowing that these would surely come to pass. I remembered the times when I would go and pray for a friend or a neighbor, not knowing that they were going through something in their lives and were also looking for a word of hope. It was sometime later in my life as I grew older, I found myself experiencing the unexpected and difficult times; however, throughout all those unexpected times and the difficult times in my life, in the end, they always worked in my favor.

It was after I got older and began to study the word of God that’ I got to understand it was the Holy Spirit of God who was leading me to do things, such as praying for people, predicting what was going on in their lives, and praying for their deliverance. In addition, not only did the Holy Spirit prepare me, but the Holy Spirit also prepared people to help me with my needs and to give me the support I did need in my time of difficulty. As I began looking back over my life, I’ve learned, 1) that I could not make it this far without the help and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, 2) I did not have the resources that I did need in getting to my destiny, 3) I did not know where my journey would take me, and 4) I did not know or have a plan for the place that I would be living or the people that God would put in my life. All I did was take a journey of faith, just as Abraham did in Genesis 12, not knowing exactly where my journey of faith would lead me. Just as the Bible said, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb. 11:1, KJV).

I then began looking back at my life’s journey and how far that I’ve come—surely I have come this far by faith not by myself—but I believed it was the Holy Spirit of God that led me and also prepared the destiny that God had already ordained for my life. This means God already sent His Holy Spirit to lead us and to direct us toward our destiny even when we don’t have a clue.

As I recall, I remembered one day the Holy Spirit told me to tell a certain lady to stop doing what she was doing, and that was to leave the married man alone and that God would provide for her. I then said, Okay, God, but I don’t know her! Or where to find her. I asked the Lord, Lord, please bring her to meet me. It happened three days later as I was walking toward a gas station. There I met the lady as she walked up toward me. At that moment, fear came upon me; however, the Holy Spirit revealed something within my spirit by saying, You need to do it! I walked up to the lady and told her exactly what the Holy Spirit told me, saying, The Holy Spirit told me to tell you, leave that married man alone. God will provide for you. After telling her the words from the Holy Spirit, the lady opened her mouth and she started crying while tears ran down her cheeks. At that moment, she began thanking me. After she was thanked me, she then said to me, "I know that this is God! Because you don’t know me and I don’t know you. However, if someone
