INTRODUCTION

Visualize an archer holding a bow and arrow, aiming at a round target about forty-five feet away. If the archer shoots the arrow and misses the target by six feet, it’s because his or her aim was off by a small amount when the arrow was released.

The above illustration may be happening to you. Your aim may be off just a little, causing you to miss your target (dream) by a wide margin. You may be missing a few crucial steps that could make the difference between hitting your target (dream) or missing. The powerful success principles you’ll discover in this book will help you correct your aim and cause you to hit your target (dream) dead center.

Or you may not have a target (dream) yet. This book will help you discover how to develop a target (dream) that will give you financial freedom, peace of mind, happiness, and joy.

I’ll be sharing success principles I have used throughout my sixty-five years of business experience. I learned these principles from doing the following:

• taking business courses early in life, including accounting, finance, contract law, business management, and securities/stocks and bonds

• taking and marketing nationally known self-help motivational programs

These success principles were developed from my past business experiences and success principles I developed after taking and marketing the Dale Carnegie courses, Napoleon Hill’s program, and Dr. David Schwartz’s The Magic of Thinking Big seminar. I also drew from my experiences with supersuccessful people and from studying and implementing success principles from the Bible in my life.

I will explain my experience with the US Justice Department in part 2. You will learn how the US Justice Department can completely destroy the business you create and how they try to destroy your family. I will explain how the US Justice Department destroyed my supersuccessful business in August 2008. It was helping tens of thousands of people financially throughout the world. I will also give an explanation of how this could affect you.

My desire is to share with aspiring entrepreneurs the business knowledge I gained and the Christian success principles I learned from my business successes and failures. I will also be sharing knowledge from supersuccessful businesspeople I trained under and worked with throughout the years. I learned more from my failures than I did from my successes. The tips from my failures can help you avoid the same mistakes.

Tap into the Supernatural

T im Tebow, a powerful quarterback for the University of Florida Gators, tapped into the supernatural power of God and set football records that have never been broken. He was born on August 14, 1987, in Makati City, Philippines, to American parents who were there as Baptist missionaries. Tebow was later homeschooled by his mother, who instilled in him the family’s Christian beliefs throughout his early years. Those beliefs became a large part of Tebow’s life and have often colored the liberal media coverage of him.

In addition to tapping into God’s supernatural power, Tim used God’s success principles, visualization, and confession to visualize and confess himself in to being a great football player. In 2006 Tebow received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida to play for its famed football team.

He spent his freshman year as a backup quarterback but became a key contributor for the Gators who went on to win the BCS championship. The following year he became the starting quarterback and won, among other honors, the Heisman Trophy (for outstanding all-around player) and the Davey O’Brien Award (for outstanding quarterback).

Running the wildcat offense, an unpredictable formation in which the quarterback can be an active rushing threat, Tebow set numerous records in the 2007 season, including the Gators’ single-game quarterback rushing mark (166 yards) and SEC single-season records for rushing touchdowns (20), and total touchdowns (passing and rushing: 55).

At the close of the 2008 season, Tebow led his team to victory in the BCS National Championship game and was named the winner of many athletic awards. Tebow is a big thinker. He always set monumental goals that he trusted God to help him accomplish. Tim learned how to tap into the supernatural power of God.

God wants you to think big because He thinks big. He wants you to think so big you can’t accomplish it alone. What does God say about His thoughts compared to our thoughts? My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine, For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts (Is. 55:8–9 New Living Translation).

God’s dream (goal) for our lives is so much bigger than the one we develop for ourselves. His plan for us is so much bigger than we can imagine, and I have a big, big imagination.

God has given us more than seven thousand promises in the Bible for us to believe in so we can have a very prosperous, healthy, and victorious life. His promises are powerful. When we believe beyond a shadow of a doubt in one of God’s promises, He will produce the desired results.

How to Achieve Your Ultimate Dream at a Supersonic Speed

Every dream starts with a very passionate desire, but to make that dream a reality, you will need to have a mighty, passionate desire and a strong belief in your dream. Tim had both. He strengthens his belief with visualization and confessions.

When you create a very passionate desire for your ultimate dream (goal) and develop a strong belief that you can accomplish it, all things become possible to you. What do you mean, ‘If I can’? Jesus asked. Anything is possible if a person believes (Mark 9:23 NLT).

Belief is the bridge between where you are now and where you want to be. The strength of the bridge (belief) determines if you cross the bridge and achieve what you want. How strong is your belief? Don’t be discouraged. Your belief can be strengthened.

Belief, visualization, and confessions (repeating a positive statement) are connected. Each time you visualize your dream (goal) being completed in your imagination and make confessions pertaining to your ultimate dream (goal), your belief strengthens.

Your belief continues to strengthen as you continue to visualize and confess until your belief becomes so strong that it causes your spirit to provide ideas into your mind that, if implemented, will move you toward your visualization goal at a supersonic speed.

Visualization and making your confessions are two of the most important success principles for accomplishing your visualization goal. Because of their importance, I’ll give you an example of how to use them.

Let’s use a female who is forty years of age and has been working as a secretary for the past ten years at the same business. She hasn’t had a raise in several years. She is entering into a period of dissatisfaction and starts researching various things she could do.

She decides on a home-based business because she can start it and continue working as a secretary. She can continue working until her profits in the home-based business exceed her salary. At that time, she can tell her employer bye-bye.

While she is researching the various home-based businesses to see which one to get involved in (see chapter 8), she starts the visualization and confessions. Before she started the research, she took an inventory of herself and found that she needed additional self-confidence to start a business.

She finds a quiet place in her home, apartment, or office so she can spend thirty minutes a day in a visualization session without being disturbed. She visualizes herself in a prospect’s office sitting on the left side of the prospect while he is sitting in his executive chair at his desk. Sitting on the left side of the prospect makes it easy for a right-handed person to make a sales presentation with a visual aid.

She should feel herself sitting in the chair with lots of confidence making the presentation and keeping the prospect’s attention. When she finishes the presentation, she immediately asks for the order.

She visualizes the prospect saying yes. She writes up the order, and with an abundance of self-confidence, she congratulates him for making a wise decision. She should feel this confidence flooding her mind and spirit.

She should visualize the same scene again, and while she is visualizing this time, she should make these two confessions fifteen times each: I have an abundance of self-confidence, and, I love myself.

If she has time left in the thirty-minute session, she should visualize making a presentation to a retail store owner standing behind a counter. She should visualize everything just as she did before and at the end make the same confessions, repeating them fifteen times each. She should conduct the visualization and confession sessions at least once a day.

She can make the confessions many times throughout the day without visualizing. Making confessions without visualizing will still increase her confidence level, but when she combines both, it is more effective.

The more she can visualize and make confessions at the same time on a daily basis, the faster she will gain confidence. If she can, she should do this three times a day: first thing in the morning, midday, and at night before bed. At night, if the session can be the last thing she does before dropping off to sleep, the effectiveness increases tremendously.

I am precise about how many times to repeat the confessions because I experimented with different times for about ten years and found that a minimum of fifteen times per session works best. I also found that having three sessions per day created results at a supersonic speed. One session per day will produce results but at a slower pace.

Anytime I talk about visualizing and confessing in the future, I’m talking about three sessions per day, morning, midday, and night, and repeating each confession fifteen times each.

When she gains the confidence she desires, she should visualize having a supersuccessful home-based business that she selected from her research. She should visualize herself:

• doing the activities that she would be doing as if she were already in business

• looking at her bank statement and seeing a large balance while she enjoys a large smile

• looking at her income statement from her financial statement and seeing an incredible sales figure with an awesome profit

When she is looking at the income statement and bank statement, she should have a feeling of great accomplishment and make the following confession fifteen times: I am a supersuccessful business person.

Everything she needs to go into the business she desires will start falling into place. The more she visualizes a supersuccessful business, the faster everything will come together.

After her business starts, she should add a sales figure to her visualization larger than what she would like to have. Her confession could be: I’m enjoying monthly sales of $___________.

I would like to explain more about confessions because of their importance in increasing your belief and supercharging your visualizations.

If You Would Like to Change Your Life, Change Your Mind

Every thought you think and every word you say is a form of confession. The main difference is that the confession (affirmation, profession) we’re talking about is created by you knowingly and is designed to change your mind to the positive and eventually transfer what you want into your reality.

Every word you say and every thought you think is a declaration of who you think you are and how you understand the world to be. Every time you have a negative thought about yourself, you are stating that as what you believe about yourself. If you continue to think it or say it, it will become a reality.

Fortunately, the same holds true for positive thoughts and statements. When you make a positive confession, it sets your goals in motion. This is the reason we’re discussing confessions now.

A confession is a declaration, which, when you repeat it over and over again, acts directly on your emotions and feelings. It then goes directly to your spirit (subconscious mind), which causes your thinking and actions to change.

That’s because your spirit (subconscious mind) doesn’t know the difference between your imagination (visualization and confessions) and what’s really happening. Both are the same to your spirit (subconscious mind). Your spirit doesn’t know the difference between a real situation or a visualization. That’s the reason confessions and visualizations are so successful.

For example, if you lack self-confidence in making a speech to a large group, you gain confidence by having successful experiences in making speeches. But you can gain confidence without making successful speeches in real time. You can gain confidence very quickly through visualization and confessions because you can have a supersuccessful experience in every one of your visualization sessions.

Confessions also change the neural pathways in our brains.

Positive confessions serve as a way to increase your comfort zone by bombarding your subconscious mind (spirit) with new thoughts and images—a large bank account, a supersuccessful business, exciting work, a successful family, interesting friends, a supersuccessful spiritual life, beautiful vacations, your dream home, your dream auto, all your goals as already completed.

The subtle force of repeated confessions overcomes our reason and helps us change our beliefs.

My confession when I first started Ad Surf Daily (ASD) was, God is my infinite supply, and I am enjoying the large sums of money coming to me quickly and easily under the grace of God for the highest good of all concerned. I am happily earning $1 million per year. I am enjoying advertising sales of $10 million per month with ASD. I am enjoying seeing fifty thousand members earning tremendous profits. ASD is the largest advertising company in the world. ASD is enthusiastically making one hundred thousand members millionaires.

Effective Confessions

I found over the years the most effective way to construct confessions so you get the best and quickest results is to use the following guidelines:

Start the confession with the words I am. The words I am are the two most powerful words in our language. The subconscious (spirit) takes any sentence that starts with the words I am and interprets it as a command to make it happen.

Use the present tense. Describe what you want as though you already have it—as though it’s already accomplished.

Wrong: I am going to get a new red Porsche 911.

Right: I am enjoying driving my new red Porsche 911.

State it in the positive. Command what you want, not what you don’t want. The subconscious (spirit) does not hear the words no or not. This means that the statement, Don’t run fast, is heard as, Run fast. The subconscious (spirit) thinks in pictures, and the words Don’t run fast evoke a picture of someone running fast.

Wrong: I am no longer afraid of flying.

Right: I am enjoying the thrill of flying.

Keep the confession brief.

It needs to be short enough and memorable enough to be easily remembered.

Make it specific. Vague affirmations produce vague results.

Wrong: I am driving my new red sports car.

Right: I am driving my new red Porsche 911.

Include an action word ending with -ing. The active verb adds power to the effect by creating an image of doing it right now.

Wrong: I express myself openly and honestly.

Right: I am expressing myself with confidence, openness, and honesty.

Include at least one dynamic emotion or feeling word. Include the emotional state you would be feeling if you had already achieved the goal. Some commonly used words are enjoying, joyfully, happily, celebrating, proudly, calmly, peacefully, delighted, enthusiastic, lovingly, secure, serenely, and triumphant.

Wrong: I am maintaining my perfect body weight of 178 pounds.

Right: I am feeling agile and great at 178 pounds!
