About this ebook

Do you ever feel as though you’re not enough? Never quite measuring up?

In her new book, A Beautiful Exchange, Destiny Suarez recognizes that being a woman can be hard and exhausting. The world meticulously tells women how to act and what to do. All the while, making sure the outward appearance is worthy of a magazine cover.

As Moms, Daughters, and Sisters in Christ, you will see this book as a reminder of who you are in the Lord-purposed, chosen, and redeemed. More than enough. Hand-picked by the King and adopted into His royal family. Princesses, y’all!

This book dives deep into the heart of God, and how He feels about his daughters. It reveals the royal inheritance that will transform your life.

Each devotional defeats the lies of the enemy and will refocus your mind on who God says you are in Him, giving you victory in every season. You will confidently say, “It’s been a beautiful exchange to choose God’s way of thinking instead of the world’s.” Between each devotional, is an opportunity to smile, chuckle, and reminisce as you read a featured “Best Things in Life” quote.

    I have been surrounded by remarkable and highly inspiring people in my life.

    Keith Suarez: Thank you for choosing me to be your wife. I love your presence by my side and your constant encouragement to pursue my dreams. It makes me love you even more.

    Julie Kirby: Thank you for always supporting me, giving me advice, and reminding me that if I follow God’s lead, I will never fail. I love knowing you wanted to be the first to have a copy of my book.

    Janice Kirby: Thank you for being my Naomi and taking me to church every Sunday. Thank you for trusting God’s lead, which caused me to follow also.

    Larry and Marsha Plyer: I’m so thankful to have you both as pastor and children’s ministry director for much of my childhood. You hold such a special place in my heart. I’ll never forget the Sunday night I gave my heart to Jesus during Team Kids.

    Mrs. Elizabeth Yarbrough, Mrs. Lynn Babb, Mrs. Linda Tucker, Mrs. Lisa Faulks, Ms. Mae Williams, Mrs. Wanda Bright, Mrs. Janice Smith, and Ms. Cheryl Smith: Thank you for being my Sunday school teachers. Thank you for pouring God’s Word into my heart week after week. You taught me how to love and gave me the desire to go into ministry.

    Ricky and Sheila Cook: I’m so glad God sent us to your church. Thank you, Ricky, for giving me my first opportunity to minister. You both have truly invested in my life, and for that I am so grateful.

    Cathy Fitzgerald: Thank you for being my right-hand lady throughout my entire journey of becoming a published author. You have an eye and gift for editing. I appreciate having you in my life and all you have done for me.

    Angie Raymond: Thank you for always encouraging me to continue writing. You are a gem.

    Hold Me Now

    Lord help me.

    Take me back

    Where I can rest in Your peace.

    Heal my heart, make me whole.

    Fill this emptiness;

    Restore my soul

    Reach for my hand,

    Hold me close—

    Sweet release

    In the shelter of Your wings.

    Calm the storm;

    Surround me

    With gentleness. I need You now;

    I love You still.

    Through the madness

    There’s no disguise.

    I know You’re watching.

    Hold me now.

    I’ve come so far.

    I’ve learned to stand

    As You hold my hand,

    Never letting go.

    You are my Lord,

    The Redeemer of my soul.

    Hold me now.

    Broken?

    I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

    Marvelous are Your works,

    And that my soul knows very well.

    —Psalm 139:14

    Ugly. Unwelcome. Unwanted. Unloved.

    Do these words bring back shuddering thoughts that have been spoken over you, or do you recall using these words to define yourself as you’ve looked in the mirror? I once heard that if we talked to others the way we talk to ourselves, we wouldn’t have any friends at all. I chuckle as I’m reminded of this quote because I know it’s been true in my life.
