The Author of THE VISION
Pict0002.JPGBorn Dec. 12, 1946 in Michigan, to parents working in the factories of Detroit. These were the years when cobblestones were still set on Michigan Ave. and shipping of produce, farm animals and any and all farm products could be found on Fort St. A thriving, hustling and bustling community along the southwest waterfront and Southwest Detroit area that made it a rival for any city in the country.
I came along when there were changes made in the country of America that young folks believed were the dawning challenges that set the stage for a new era, a new generation that came up to speak of the spiritual values innate in mankind. And a sense that the words spoken by John F. Kennedy were words spoken by a man that believed
what he was saying.
Even the exposure of sins were not uncommon, but the age of enlightenment made it all so very clear, we hadn’t seen anything yet. So while the Korean War was over when I was born, there still was a great deal more to see in the war of man’s inner mind and peace.
A war where some never realize is being waged everyday of our lives. And is always set behind everything as it points to the root cause of a great deal of our problems. I hope each can see in themselves that it is not the least, but is probably the most neglected area of our lives: and that is: where are we really, in the midst of this turmoil, that is ruled and contained by a God of righteousness
?
I am not a writer, only a Story Teller. But this story I tell has a message for all people. What we search for in life that gives meaning to why we are here and alive. When you consider that each of us looks for meaning in who we are; we must also ask what it is we want out of life and relationships. By this I mean, our needs, our identity, and our goals. And also, in essence, what are we, truly?
Galatians 2:16, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
WARNING
(BEWARE OF THE FACT A WAR IS RAGING FOR THE SOULS OF MEN. IF YOU ARE ABLE TO LOSE YOURSELF WITHOUT LOSING YOUR MIND SEE WHAT IT IS THAT I HAVE SEEN. BUT DO NOT THRUST YOURSELF INTO A BATTLE THAT YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO LOSE ALL.)
Commentary
By WILBERT MOORE JR.
Gal. 3:5, He therefore that minister to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among
you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
To begin, I want only to communicate what I have seen as I came to visions and dreams I felt were very important to all; as a means of conveying the idea of a God that men question and know so little about. In the time that has passed I realized how little I knew of this Creator and Deity. But in so doing I realized how much I knew of our plight against odds few men confront and equate as having any importance.
Few consider what a prophet must undergo to convince himself of this being: who he says he is, and the final belief that took them to deaths door and beyond every concept of what is publicly considered a norm, in any generation. To say the least, these men had to accept all that God had to give and use it as a foundation from which they established the covenant with the Lord God Almighty that would exceed the world and all that is in it. But also they had to love all mankind more then life itself, as they gave themselves a sacrifice at times for the word they carried to men whom they knew would kill them. A man not substantiated by other than God in his own belief and conviction, from within and without
that could only come by knowledge, faith, trust and hope and the discipline of mind and spirit, no man could shake.
To say to other men that they are not crazy because of what they see or hear, and aloud to the insane, you too shall be considered fortunate; for you shall know what others have yet to fathom. But of all these things that are, and that shall come upon the earth, we are still alive and here to testify of what we perceive to be truth of all we come to know of the root and foundation of all our living and existing. There truly is a God.
I have been a pauper for the most part of my life; But many considered me rich and well off (they also consider slaves happy if they sing to forget their woes). I never wanted more than understanding between men and women. When you have all you need in life, the only real thing that matters is someone to share it with. A man wrote a poem that among other things, helped keep me sane when you delve into the greatest of the gift’s men leave to other men. It was as great to me then as was the song from the play Man of La Mancha
, The Impossible Dream. We have all wished for heights to reach and give for the most part so all the world can see. But the only men who have done anything of true value lies not in the exploits of climbing mountains: Nor, in the hero who dies for family, honor, and country; all of these things have their valor and reward attached with them. The man of true value is, the person of integrity and truth.
We have teachers who bring our children up and some parents cannot do nearly half as much. It is not in the living well that makes us great and seem immortal in the sight of our peers, no, not even in the wealth of the world that is but a glimmer compared to the eyes of a newborn child. It is not in the strength of a man that is worthy of being praised, except when he kneels to kiss that child with a parents love. And it is not in the many powers that you possess that cannot be measured and cannot be weighed by the scales of any device. Nor can the heart fathom nor contain it, but only revel in it. It is not of itself immediately recognized, if at all, and yet, is pushed beyond any limit you can imagine and higher still does it stand beyond even that! It has only a mother and father that are real parents, without question, for the semblance of it.
This is that thing we all can share and none need be in need of. And that great thing makes men look each other in the eye and give something that is universal and needed by all, Love.
This is why the poem by Rudyard Kipling seems to have such great power and blessedness; because few men in all of mankind can stand like this except; it be in the image of Jesus, the Christ.
Without fault or blame himself, he neither put upon any man that was, and are, and is to come, blame nor fault. He was the epitome of what men should hope to be. As he said, You know not God so how can you love him? But the poor, you have with you always, and if you cannot love these, how can you love God whom you have never seen?
The Poem is called If
, and was quoted by quite a number of famous as well as, not so
famous people. Richard Pryor quoted the poem as a testament to the insanity of the world. But few realize what it truly means to those people who have somewhere along the line come to their last straw and only the greatest wisdom of all can aid them to stand when all else seems hopeless. A word that will say, it is well with my soul
.
Can any walk like this and not see Jesus? I really cannot say what you will see, but only the truth of life and your existence living in the truth can show you what is true and false in the world. Christ said, seek you first the kingdom of Heaven, and all its righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto you
. When Richard Pryor quoted the poem it was after a severe bout in his life that he sought and found an answer. People playing games or otherwise misusing the system for selfish reasons: the musicians or celebrities suffer in private while the world thinks they have it made.
Some may not even have a meal ticket after the show. And they realize without the help of others or people in the business they would not make it. But some expect favors no one wants to know about in the public. Count it all Joy when there is one who can look on you and clean the slate and wipe your tears away.
There is no sin too great or too embarrassing for the Lord of Wisdom to handle. What is a child that gets caught with his hands in the cookie jar? And what also is a person who has performed atrocious acts that you would think cannot exist in them; but in reality we all have that same capacity if it were not for the Grace of God that steps in and makes us humble as we look to him for the answer in every situation. I tell you in all my battles I first looked up and sought Gods guidance in judging whether I was right or wrong.
And when that answer was given in that moment, I knew I could win by his answer. God tells you what to do if you are able to listen, and it is to him and him alone belongs the Glory; because he is a strength that none can weather, and a force none can resist. I have found even when you give up he fights for you and nothing on this planet is a mystery to the Lord God. (I dreamed of a Black Rock, in the east where they kiss and pay homage to this Stone that fell to the earth many years ago. And the people know this, as the story was passed down to them where it came from. It shall break forth with disease and pestilence and spread like wildfire until it consume at least a third or more of that people and land.)
Revelations 8:10-11,
There also is a stone to be cast into the sea that shall raise pestilence from the waters and kill over a third of all living in the sea. How shallow are we that we do not love our fellow man, and how sad that there is evil among us. Him you chose as leader and allowed to take power by force shall kill you in your soul, for you have allowed evil to take what belongs to the people. Even God said, I Samuel 8:7
, Let them choose a leader, as they have rejected me.
And so you are given unto your own ways. But those who have no vote are given grace!
So
