When you think of it, any who are tapped into the spiritual life are ascending this ladder. What seems key to me is that we do not just go up the ladder. We may also descend – in this way, does God Being circulate – we are creatively lived up and down the ladder – and it is not just an up and a down that we are used to thinking about – up and down is really infinite, imminent access.

Eclipse in Consciousness

The words embodied as the fabric of these pages come from inner revelation and actual experiences. They are precious fruits of a conscious decision made by us in 1973; a choice to adhere to a stirring within, awakening in our Soul. We chose to dedicate our life, relinquish our will, and embark on the path of mystical rebirth in adherence to spiritual principles which became a defined way of life. We vowed to stay focused and inspired, and to walk in unison, developing a glorious reliance on God.

A defining moment in our spiritual unfoldment came to pass in 1982, in Yucca Valley, California, when a brilliant light of mystical consciousness, a teacher of The Infinite Way, Muriel West Jones, a close friend of Herb Fitch and his loving wife Betty, introduced us to Herb’s direct, insightful, outpouring of consciousness.

When we first met Muriel and were embraced by her angelic consciousness of light, we had been studying the teachings of Joel Goldsmith for almost ten years and practicing the principles as he revealed them. We studied Joel’s works with Muriel for a time, when she felt led to share Herb’s tapes with us. She believed it was beneficial to have a strong foundation in The Infinite Way teachings before studying Herb.

Upon hearing Herb’s stream of consciousness, we were stirred, lifted with a heightened determination and confidence to double down in our spiritual practices. From then on we intensely studied Herb’s work and became very close to him. A deep friendship evolved, and we were blessed to spend much time together, as well as frequent phone calls and correspondence. We shared an ease with each other, capped by love and Soul recognition.

In October 1991, Herb told me of his intentions to call me into the work as an Infinite Way teacher. This great honor came to pass at Herb’s 30th year anniversary, his 1993 San Diego Easter Seminar. Herb was supportive, enthusiastic, and full of joy, and referred to this as my debut. His gesture of spiritual confirmation is a priceless treasure which set off a chain reaction of events still rippling today.

In a flash came classes, seminars, letters, and calls from many students of both Joel and Herb’s; an incredible blend of Souls attesting to testimonies of healings, Soul expansion, and spiritual revelation. The ripples of confirmation have grown over these past years into waves of intense and magnificent experiences.

It is rare to find enduring and unfolding love with another, but even more so to find a family that shares the same spiritual vision. Our family is such a one, living by spiritual inclination, moving in one accord.

This spiritual calling by Herb sparked a new life, including a move of four generations to Maui in May 1993. Upon embarking on this journey together, we agreed to move forward in alignment with the will of God and in attunement to inner direction received.

We launched into a family business, opening as the Moonbow Tropics shops on Maui. Love, faith, and the pristine energy of selflessness is the mark to which we hold ourselves accountable. We stand, hold, and wait on God together. We work, laugh, and cry together; a united force of oneness, collectively following the principles of life.

Our oldest grandson, Austin, a gifted singer, song writer and musician, was moved to write a tribute capturing the theme of who we are. It is a heartfelt song in celebration of our family and others like it. He calls it, The Kingdom of Hearts, a kingdom we are thrilled to be part of, and we joyously break into our song whenever our family gathers together.

We are privileged to behold the soul-stirring light and love at our family celebrations of gratitude, music, and joy. We feel the quickening vibrations experienced rent the veil revealing a deeper glimpse into heaven. This is a sacred gift, the fruit of this way of life; the active force of multi-generations living and working in love and recognition of God’s grace, which together, we praise.
