About this ebook

This story is about the growing up period of a young girl as she experiences the trial and tribulations of life as it is given to her. It begins with the early sexual experience as she is reaching adulthood and finds she is beginning to understand the nuance of love and life. Her experience with her many loves teaches her to accept and create a life for herself that leads her to be kind and forgiving of people who have tried to destroy her energy for life . . . except for the one person who should have been forgiven.

I can only thank my elderly lady friends who have encouraged me to write this fictional story as related to many incidents in their own families or friends’ lives. I have done so along with my own stories given to me by the old storytellers in my family.

Another friend I have to thank is a man who is most knowledgeable with computers who was very patient with this non-savvy computer person. He spent many hours kindly working with me to get this book to the publisher. And to the publisher’s many associates with their patience working with me and my ambivalence as problems came up during writing.

Thank you to the readers of this book who do not judge the story harshly, but one that has so many incidents in it that may seem unbelievable but were true. Please do not read it with a jaundiced eye as this is not the writer’s intent. It is a love story with loving sexual intent. Thank you.

    Introduction

    To The Passions Of Rosie

Some people might wonder why an old woman would write a book which might be considered pornographic in the eyes of readers, but I was ambivalent at the beginning of this compilation of true events, that I have fictionalized to protect the people in these events that have happened many years ago. These stories have been told to me as I was growing up in the small ‘colonies’ of the city I lived in about the friends from their villages in Europe. Did they just want to gossip? Let me be aware of what was really going on with people who had secrets they should be ashamed of? I really do not know. I often wondered why the old ladies repeated these events to me just to talk to a young person who was unaware of the facts that occured in her past and those of the lives of people in the past? Or was it to relieve themselves of guilt they might have about their own lives?

Regardless of why they told me the stories, I decided to write about what I was told because it sounded unbelievable, but I chose to believe them as I was fascinated over hearing such strong language pertaining to sexual intercourse as they spoke of ‘it’ coarsely and it began to arouse my senses to the point of desire which turned my senses into the urge for sex as a young person. Yes, I was promiscuous at an early age and enjoyed sex any way I could get it. My secret! No one dreamed of my secret fantasies, actual sex acts and I kept it all to myself. Maybe that is why ladies told me stories pertaining to their desires, too. So now I am about to have you open the pages of The Passions of Rosie telling all these stories about the characters in my book not to be demeaning to women as the women in this book were real characters now long gone who loved sex so much they deceived all those living with them or were so longing for love, just plain sex because of a desperate need to fulfill their desires they had for love and due to their husbands’ lack of caring only for their own satisfaction leaving their wives cold with only so much as a ‘wham, bam, thank you, ma’am’, goodnight’. So the wives found extra marital lovers. Good.

The strong language used was much of the vernacular ‘back in the day’ for lack of education of anatomical terminology. I have tried to soften some of it by using Sex Vessel (SV) or Lovely Lady Part or Piece (LLP), going Down South, sometimes The Big C, or The Pussy. Whatever I knew was used. Male parts are very obviously expressed. There were many really funny little boy observations that I could not use in this book because of their age, but really a big laugh. I do not consider my non-fictionalized story as dirty, obscene, or a tongue clucker by some old lady who refuses such words exist only in the dictionary or in the mind of the devious. I know of a sainted woman who beat her breast at hearing a bad word, but when she was angry she used the F word very freely, then crossed herself thinking she was absolved by the good Lord. Not so, He heard you, lady.

So be it, and so it goes, I have done it, have written it, have cussed a lot, and then prayed at night for forgiveness. I hope He heard me both times and thank you, Lord, because I really am a good person. And to those who cannot forgive me, just do not open the pages of this book unless you want to be educated to the world of love and sex.

I always remember the words of many years ago from Dr. Ruth Westheimer, the sex therapist, in her cute, squeaky German accent give good advice: To have a good sex life, you must go to bed in the nude to be able to touch freely and you will always have a happy, satisfied sex life. I was only just married and you know what? I followed her advice and my husband and I at age 89 years old each still have an excellent sex life, thanks to Dr. Ruth! Try it, you will
