Sandra L Reynolds - Webster

Beginning in the year 1999, Sandra L Reynolds began to release her poems to the general public. Her gift for words and her talent for expression leave the reader identifying, sympathizing and empathizing with every verse. She writes with the depths that touches every soul. In 1966, Sandra survived the death of her husband Rev William H Reynolds leaving her with 7 daughters to raise. She was 26 years of age when the love of her life and the life of her love departed. Assuming her responsibilities as a single parent, she held three primary positions during these years. Several years later she remarried accepting the name of Webster, of her new husband who later died after 43 years of marriage. She lived by the grace and faithfulness of God which intensified her writings. Today her prayers were and are continually being answered, by a faithful and merciful God. One of the most important prayers to her was to see her children into adulthood. He blessed her with that. Another was to work on the publication of books of poetry that will encourage, lift spirits and heal, those filled with hurt, pain or doubt. Through the years she has accomplished her first book which was published in 2005. With this book “a Dream Come true…a Prayer answered, many have been blessed by it, and have given to us now requesting more. Since then she has been working on another manuscript as of yet it is untitled. The hope is that those who read this book will be eagerly anticipating the release of the third publication.

    Introduction

I have written this compilation of verse hoping to encourage and inspire others to live with hope and full of joy. I have said see you later to two husbands and two children and wonder at His mercy. I’m still here full of strength and determination. Many experiences in my life and the lives of family and friends can be gleaned from these pages, from childhoods to this present day. I’m trusting that you too will remember the similar events from yesteryears with laughter and perhaps some tears. Give Him praise and thanksgiving for the battles fought and won. He’s faithful and will never leave you alone. He’s the God of love…He loves us…you and me. Amen

    Yours in love,

    Sandra R. Webster

I want to take this time to thank my daughters (Renee, Sherrise, Loretta, Lisa, Nolleen and Lauren), for their prayers support and encouragement through the years. I am complete novelist when it comes to technology (computer workings) How, when and why they function as they do, so a special thanks goes to Nol for helping in the technical processes required for publication by the publishers. I’m sure she was often frustrated in my lack of understanding, yet in and through her love for me, she patiently so the manuscript to completion. Thanking the Lord for her abilities and perseverance.

    I Know I’m Free,

Bondage no Longer in my Vocabulary

This I know down deep in my soul

No matter by my head, what I am told

I will prosper as the Word proclaims

if I keep on trusting in Jesus’ precious name.

The Word I know, by faith, is true

God the Father loves me and He loves you

In due time He sent Jesus to be our guide

My sins have been forgiven, I don’t have to hide.

Christ’s blood makes me guiltless in God’s eyes

Jesus paid my debt in full when

    on the cross He died

False guilt is senseless, I no longer it endure

My debt’s been paid at Calvary,

of this I am quite sure.

    So in worship I acknowledge,

The Love that set me free

I’ve been washed in His blood,

Jesus lives for you and me

There was no other way to pay the debt I owe

So to Calvary He went, so His love I would know.
