Mary I. Gomez-Winborne
Mary resides in Portland Oregon with her husband John whom she met after moving to Portland with her family. Mary grew up in the small town or Worland Wyoming where she claims life there was very instrumental in sculpting her persona. Mary is no stranger to the many schools in Portland where she shared her art, teaching in several schools. When she didn’t teach art in the schools she helped tutor students in reading, writing and math. Story telling has been a life long enjoinment for Mary; enjoyed by her children, students and friends. In recent years she decided it was time to get her favorite written to share with everyone.

not very long ago, what was supposed to be an ordinary day for delivering babies, became a huge and very jumbled problem. Over 5000 storks were out sick with an unusual virus. They had to call forward all retired storks to help deliver babies. They even called forward the oldest stork Drabu, who had not made any kind of delivery in over 800 years. Now Drabu being very old had very bad eye sight, even with his glasses on. It did not help matters that his hearing was also nearly gone.
While everyone thought things were going quite well, no one knew Fluff being an overly curious and mischievous feline was about to get lost.
Fluff and her three brothers were being carried by none other than Old Drabu. So determined and anxious to see the world, Fluff stepped right on top of her brother’s heads. Fluff Pushed and prodded until she could finally see outside the dropsac. Intrigued with the mountains and rivers, valleys and oceans and all the beauty of the world; she pushed forward even harder. Fluff almost fell from a 1000 feet in the air. Lucky for her Drabu was getting quite tired, so he touched down on an island to rest. As he sat perched on a big fat cushy mushroom, Drabu checked his directions. He wanted to make sure
