Mixing it up with a southern fallow stalk

Once in a while, you get an invitation to stalk deer further south. These invitations are always the highlight of my year — multi-species counties are as good as it gets. This outing was one of those.

A good friend of mine extended an invitation to help him with fallow and muntjac on the outskirts of Birmingham. You would be forgiven for thinking that Birmingham was not the sort of place where deer thrive.
