Totally Naked and Unashamed: Exposing the Lies of the Enemy
()
About this ebook
In Totally Naked and Unashamed, she shares how she and her husband, Tim, overcame years of infidelity in their marriage. In a society that constantly uses exposure to undermine the character of those in power, Michele employs her testimony to expose the sinful powers of Satan. Sharing how her personal encounter with God left an unforgettable impression, her passion and conviction shows her heart for marriages and deliverance.
Totally Naked and Unashamed tells how God is the pillar of Michele’s strength. Her testimony developed from years of listening to her body speak to her so loudly she grew sick and tired of herself. She determined she would allow her spirit to speak back to her body in order to represent who she really is. Her flesh had to die along with her selfishness.

INTRODUCTION
No More Games
C ome out, come out, wherever you are!
I played this game when I was a little girl. I would close my eyes and count to ten. The other kids would run and hide while I was counting. Then I would say, Ready or not, here I come!
They would hide so well I would sit on my front porch and say, I am not playing.
They hid behind cars and bushes and even inside the house. Today, I am still no longer playing games with anyone, including myself. I am tired of hiding, and I am willing to expose my life for the good of others.
The point of this game was to find those who were hiding. I got tired of looking for people who did not want to be found. Today, it is possible to track people with a cell phone or find their home address by using a GPS. Whether we want to be found or not, we cannot hide. I do not know if you are looking for anyone, but I am looking for Him (God) while He might be found. (See Isaiah 55:6.)
I never thought I would become an author. I have always said no one can tell my story like me. I am my own best spokesperson. I am using this platform as a tool to show the world the transformation of my life. Here I am now, at the point of no return. No need to hide now! God has called me out of darkness.
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light
(1 Peter 2:9).
My exposure to darkness, which I will compare to a photographer’s darkroom, was due to my own actions. The late Dr. Myles Munroe said, When you need fixing, stop going to the devil for parts.
I decided to give my heart to Jesus for repair since He has defeated death, hell, and the grave. We have to go inside the darkroom to be fully developed and restored.
The process of developing film begins with the unexposed and undeveloped halide salts. Next, it is converted into a positive image. Finally, the film is fixed, washed, dried, and cut. This is similar to becoming a Christian. First, we have the Father, who handles all who have been exposed to sin. Second, once we accept Jesus the perfect Son, He gives us His image. Third, we have the person of the Holy Spirit, who leads and guides us into all truth with the finishing touches. (See note 1.)
I am not suggesting you have to sin in order to develop. Sin is nothing to play with; it is not a game. However, once you see your picture develop, you realize you have overcome the darkroom. My darkroom is now my prayer room. I go inside for development and to converse with the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). This is how I learned to defeat the devil. I walked in darkness most of my life. I have yielded my life to God for such a time as this, to be a deliverer to His people.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11).
This is my deliverance, with you in mind!
No More Hiding
While seeking the Lord, I asked God why He wanted me to expose myself like this. He whispered in His still small voice (Genesis 2:25), And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
This is not a social media post or what people want to hear. My husband, Tim, and I are both unashamed! God has delivered our marriage. To God be all the glory!
Favor is not fair! You may be saying, How has this chick who came from nothing, with no education, been given the opportunity to write this book?
My response to that question is this: do not allow the events in your life story to define you and put a period at the end of one sentence or moment in your life. Allow God to put His commas, conjunctions, question marks, and periods where He would like. It is not over until God says it is over.
I want to share with you how I was born to Roy and Joyce Thomas. They raised me to the best of their ability. If I may say so, my parents are the best parents a girl could ask for. My parents loved me unconditionally. Even though they saw me at my worst and rarely at my best, they never judged me. They always told me that I had a good husband. My mom loved her father, John Henry Lee, and she always said he was the greatest man she ever knew—until she met her son-in-law (whom she referred to as son), Timothy Turner Sr.
The first time Tim and I shared our testimony, we were asked to speak at a Bride of Christ life event. I went to the event convinced that I would only tell them what I wanted them to know. I did not want to share completely because I felt I was in a room filled with women who did not like me and would judge me by my past. Right before it was our turn to speak, my nose began to bleed. I went to the restroom, and looking at myself in the mirror, I could clearly hear God saying, I am going to strip you naked with nothing left to hide. This is for My glory and your good.
From that moment forward, I knew that no one would ever be able to hold anything over my head about my past—not even me.
Exposing the Lies
At the beginning of each chapter, I will share with you the lies the enemy whispered to me because I allowed him to be too close to me. I have now learned that he is defeated and stripped of all influence over me. I now command him to back up and come no closer because he is trespassing. He is not wanted. I am God’s property. I will strip those lies from your mind by using the Word of God to reveal His truth.
I would like to define the way God viewed nakedness and my own personal view before I became saved:
God:
Never intended for Adam to Kaput the covenant between himself and God by blaming Eve. The Decree was made between God and Adam, not Eve. Again, God Never made His covenant with Eve. So Adam disobeyed God by eating the fruit; we are all now born into Sin.
Me:
Never tell me no. Anyway, it is my way or the highway. I always Keep it real. I Enticed others to do wrong. Do not get in my way. I am a girl on the move. I Needed no one’s approval. I am Enough for anybody and everybody. A Smooth operator. I was a Sinner.
