About this ebook

This is an exciting book which describes a coming event where billons of people will suddenly vanish from sight. It will be utter chaos as family members search for their loved ones. Some may ask, did aliens snatch them away?

Bible scholars call this the Rapture of Christians, when Jesus will appear in the heavens, give a great shout which will be followed by the loud blast from a trumpet. He will snatch His people from what is about to take place on planet earth. Then life will never be the same here anymore.

Mrs. Rose wrote some parts of the book as fiction which will leave you in awe and amazement. She also describes the majestic return of Christ, when the heavens will open and Christ comes riding on a white stallion with a heavenly host following Him. This is truly a great book, which you will want to read more than once.

    Introduction

In this book, I looked at some incidents where people have suddenly disappeared from the earth. These incidents are pointing to a major event that will take place in the future, where billions of people will suddenly vanish from planet earth. Life will never be the same anymore. This event is termed the Rapture. Is this fact or fiction?

Some parts of the book are written in story form or fiction and are very exciting and suspenseful. It is unimaginable to think of the pandemonium that will take place when the world is thrown into utter chaos because vast numbers of people have suddenly vanished from sight. Did aliens snatch them away? Where are they gone? Will more people disappear? These may be some of the questions the people who are left behind may ask. There will be a lot of regrets indeed for the ones who are left behind—goodbyes that were never said, I love you that was never expressed, I am sorry that was never uttered.

I also looked at past events where people were suddenly snatched away. Will this snatching away take place on a larger scale in the future? You can make your decision whether you believe there will be a Rapture of believers after reading the book. Then please read the Bible, especially the Scriptures that are mentioned.

This is one of the most exciting books I have written, so I hope you will enjoy reading it and tell others about it. May God bless you.

    Chapter One

    GONE SUDDENLY!

The Jones family had planned this vacation for over a year. With their busy schedules, it was difficult to take a vacation as a family.

Their children were growing older. In a few years they would want to spend their leisure time with their friends instead of with their parents. Mr. Jones was a successful criminal lawyer, and his wife was a medical doctor. Mrs. Jones was a committed Christian and took her four children to church as often as she had the opportunity. They were between the ages of six and thirteen. David Jr., their firstborn, was thirteen; Anthony was eleven; and the girls, Mary and Marie, were six-year-old identical twins. The family lived in a gated community in the Hamptons. They had a gorgeous home and servants to assist them. Besides this, Mr. Jones was the heir of millions of dollars from his father’s estate.

Mrs. Jones was a beautiful woman of Italian descent. She came from the poor side of town and grew up in Brooklyn. Her parents were religious Catholics, so she and her siblings attended Mass often. At the age of fifteen, a Christian lady told her that she needed to have a personal relationship with Jesus because just attending Mass was not a guarantee that she would enter the gates of heaven. She believed this wonderful Christian woman, Mrs. Williams, and started attending the Pentecostal Church with her. About a month later, she repented of her sins and invited Jesus Christ to become her Savior and Lord.

The Lord blessed her tremendously, and she studied hard and became a medical doctor. One day while on duty at the Jewish Long Island Hospital, she saw this tall handsome man approaching her. He came up to her, introduced himself, asked for her phone number, and gave her his business card. They began to date, and after several months, he asked her to marry him. She knew Mr. David Jones was not a Christian, and Maria Stephens also knew the Bible says Christians should not marry non-Christians. The exact words flashed through her mind: Do not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV). However, Maria believed she could change him. After all, the Bible says the Christian wife can influence her unsaved husband by him watching her godly lifestyle. Besides this, her children would also be covered by her godly behavior.

So Maria Stephens told David Jones of her beliefs, and he agreed to attend church with her. After a year of courtship, they were married. They had a beautiful wedding, and she moved to his mansion in the Hamptons. Life soon began to change when Maria started having her babies. David Jones stopped attending church with
