New Beginnings

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)

Today is a new day and a new year. God is blessing you with the chance to start fresh. He is giving you another chance to become the person He created you to be. Make the most of this year. Allow it to be one of your better years. Chase your dreams and decide that you are valuable to God. You’re worth so much more than you realize. It’s time to let Jesus into your heart because He is the key to your freedom. Your past is no longer your prison. Find out what God’s true purpose is for your life. Give Him all of your fears, worries, and anxieties to heal. If you’re not sure where to start, then ask God. Trust Him to guide you through His Holy Spirit. Have a Happy New Year and many blessings to you.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Don’t be afraid to become what God called you to be. He will take you by the hand and guide you toward your purpose. Jesus is a great Master and Teacher. Whenever you take a test in school, the teacher is right there in the classroom. They stay silent until the students are finished, but they are still with you while you take the test. Jesus is the same way. He teaches you how to do something, then you take the test. When He is silent, it doesn’t mean He’s not there. He is seeing how well you apply what He has taught you. If you fail, He is right there waiting to pick you up and dust you off so you can try it again. Don’t quit.

Satan may have taken everything from you. He tries to hurt you, your family, and the people you love. He wants to take as much as he can to make you curse God. He doesn’t want you to live in peace so he will slowly ease his way in until you are miserable or dead. But God has sent us a Savior. He sent His own Son, Jesus. He has come to restore everything Satan has stolen from you. Jesus came so that He could give you more than you could ever imagine. God has already won the victory.
