About this ebook

Throughout the Bible, the number seven represents completeness and perfection. Seven receives much of its meaning from being joined directly to God’s creation of the world.

Seven is the first printed work in a series called Seven Pillars. It’s a continuity of writings inspired by God and his word, the Bible. In the most unique way, each book differs in design, creativity, and message delivery.

The author, Abigail Blue, was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, just a walking distance from the Atlantic Ocean. She moved to the northern metro area, where she raised her two children, Aenon and Eglah Blue.

Her relationship with God is the foundation for all she does. Ms. Blue enjoys learning and applying the Bible to her daily life. Her message is God loves you more than anyone can.

She refers to Seven: The Nine Fruits and the Seven Pillars as her groundwork of the series. The stories describe her real-life experiences, humility, and insight that took her to her journey until she found her divine purpose.

In addition, the poems of the author’s daughter, Eglah Blue, add a real touch of vitality to the book. Each pillar (chapter) has one of Eglah’s creative lyrics.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

F IRST, I MUST give credit where credit is due. Thanks to the Lord, Jesus Christ, the one and only true living God. I pursued him, and he heard me and answered me, for he is awesome!

There are many people I am grateful to have in my life. I thank God for my grandparents, my mother, my five sisters, my two children, my granddaughter, my brothers-in law, and all my nieces and nephews.

I would like to specifically acknowledge my daughter, Eglah Blue. Thanks for taking the time to write poems for this book. I am so fortunate to have you in my life.

A special thanks to my pastor. In the words of the scripture, How can they hear without someone preaching to them? (Rom. 10:14).

To everyone who has the opportunity of reading or listening to this book on tape, it is a message from God. I promised him that I would not write about anything that I have not experienced or known to be true.

Everyone who brought life to this book, I love you all dearly.

    INTRODUCTION

T HROUGHOUT SCRIPTURE, THE number seven in the Holy Bible represents completeness and perfection. Seven receives much of its meaning from being joined directly to God’s creation of the world. From the beginning of the Bible, God makes it clear that the number seven is distinguished with something being finished.

This book, Seven, is the first printed work in a series called Seven. It’s a continuity of writings inspired by God and his Word, the Bible. In the most unique way, each book differs in design, creativity, and message delivery.

The author, Abigail Blue, refers to this first book as her groundwork of the series. The stories describe her real-life experiences, humility, and insight that took her into her journey until she found her divine purpose.

Also, the poems of her daughter, Eglah Blue, add a real touch of vitality to the book. Each pillar (chapter) has one of Eglah’s creative lyrics.

What Would I Do Without You?

What would I do without you?

You love me unconditionally despite my flaws, mistakes, or choices.

You are here to help and support whether I ask, even if sometimes I deny you.

What would I do without you?

You are the only one I can trust because you’ll never betray me.

You always have my best interest at heart.

You won’t abandon me for my decisions good or bad.

You calm me down when I’m upset or mad.

What would I do without you?

You are my teacher, my companion, my counselor and my preacher.

You are my source, my refuge, my rock, my strength!

What would I do without you?

    You won’t lead me astray.

You are my comforter when I am weak.

What would I do without you?

    You are my closest friend.

You are my mother and father.

You are God and there’s nothing I can do without you!

    PILLAR ONE

    Spirituality

I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues- last, because with them God’s wrath is completed. And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the lamb: "Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.

    —Rev. 15:1–4

I T’S IMPORTANT THAT the people of God understand the relationship between the physical and the spiritual world.

You can’t sincerely worship the Lord God Almighty until you know something about his greatness and marvelous works!

Each day we fight against the systems of the world! Every single minute of our lives is a battle! We must never underestimate the power of evil or seek to battle this sinful world on our own.

Knowing that disobedience has tragic consequences, why is it so easy to do wrong and hard to do right?

Job 14 said, Mortals, born of woman are a few days and full of trouble.

This means that we all (humans) have something in common. We were born into a dark and sinful world filled with evil, offense, and terror. Everyone is doing what’s right in their eyes, living without any boundaries, rules, or principles.

    We Need a Savior!

My life story throughout this book is an illustration of what God can do when he takes hold of a person. Everything I’ve been through has given me a higher understanding of God’s ways, and it has increased my relationship with him. I dreamed of the day when I could tell the world about God’s power and glory!

I grew up in a churchgoing family who had so many dominations. My grandpa Ken and grandma Sue insisted that my sisters (Daisy, Edith, Fay, Gabi, and Dee) and I attend church with them regularly on Sundays. There were even times during the week we went to church with my grandparents when my parents were busy.

The family attended a small Southern Pentecostal Holy Spirit–filled church.

I so clearly remember those days. People expressed strong feelings by singing and praising God.

Sometimes church folks would run around the church, jumping up and down, shouting, and speaking in an inspired speech called tongues.

My grandparents had great respect for the Bible. They believed that the word of God teaches us morals and right living. I remember during church services when the Bible was being read, everyone would say, Amen! Hallelujah! Amen! Their faith was connecting with the word of God.

In fact, they were confident that anything God said in his word was true and would one
