Chapter 1

THE PROVERBS {TRUTHS OBSCURELY EXPRESSED, MAXIMS AND PARABLES} of Solomon son of David, king of Israel.

2] That people may KNOW SKILLFUL AND GODLY WISDOM and Instruction Discern and Comprehend the Word’s of Understanding and Insight.

3] Receive Instruction in Wise dealings and the Discipline of Wise Thoughtfulness, Righteousness, Justice, and Integrity. Hear Counsel, Receive Instruction, and accept Correction, that you may be Wise in the time to Come.

4] That Prudence may be given to the simple, and Knowledge, Discretion, and Discernment to the Youth–-

5] The Wise also will hear and Increase in Learning, and the person of Understanding will acquire Skill and Attain to Sound Counsel {SO THAT HE MAY BE ABLE TO STEAR HIS COURSE RIGHTLY}. Give Instruction to the Wise man and he will be yet Wiser; teach a Righteous man {ONE UPRIGHT AND IN RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD} and he will Increase in Learning.

6] That people may Understand a Proverb and a figure of speech or an enigma with it’s interpretation, and the Word’s of the Wise and their dark saying’s or riddle’s.

7] The Reverent and Worshipful Fear Of The LORD Is The Beginning And The Principal And Choice Part Of Knowledge {IT’S STARTING POINT AND IT’S ESSENCE} but fool’s despise SKILLFUL AND GODLY WISDOM, Instruction And Discipline. The Reverent Fear And Worship Of The LORD Is The Beginning Of WISDOM And Skill {THE PRECEDING AND THE FIRST ESSENTIAL,THE PREREQUISITE AND THE ALPHABET}; A Good Understanding, WISDOM, And Meaning Have All those Who Do {THE WILL OF THE LORD}, there Praise Of Him Endures Forever. GOD Understands The Way {TO WISDOM} And He Knows The Place Of It {WIS—DOM IS WITH GOD ALONE}. For He Look’s To The End’s Of The earth And See’s Everything Under The Heaven’s. When He Gave To The Wind Weight Or Pressure And Allotted The Water’s By Measure. When He Made a Decree For The Rain And A Way For The Lightning Of Thunder. Then He Saw {WISDOM} And Declared It; He Established It, Yes, And Searched It Out {FOR HIS OWN USE, AND HE ALONE POSSESSES IT}. But to man He Said,

Behold, the Reverential And Worshipful Fear Of The LORD—That Is WISDOM;

And To Depart From evil Is Understanding. Teacher, Which Kind Of Commandment Is Great And Important {THE PRINCIPLE KIND} In The Law?

{SOME COMMANDMENTS ARE LIGHT-WHICH ARE HEAVY?} And He Replied To him, you Shall Love The LORD your GOD With All your heart And With All your soul And With All your mind {INTELLECT} This Is The Great {MOST IMPORTANT, PRINIPAL} And First Commandment. Hear Therefore, O Israel, And Be Watchful To Do Them, That It May Be Well With you And That you May Increase Exceedingly, As The LORD The GOD Of your father’s, Has Promised you, In A Land Flowing With Milk And Honey. Hear, O Israel: The LORD Our GOD Is One LORD {THE ONLY LORD}. And you Shall Love The LORD your GOD With All your {MIND AND} heart And With your Entire Being And With All your Might. And These Word’s Which I AM Commanding you This Day Shall Be {FIRST} In your {OWN} minds And hearts; {THEN} You Shall Whet And Sharpen Them So As To Make, Penetrate, And Teach And Impress Them Diligently Upon The {mind’s And} heart’s Of your children, And Shall Talk Of them When you Sit In your House And you Walk By The Way, And When you Lie Down And When you Rise Up. And you Shall Bind Them As A Sign Upon your Hand, And They Shall Be As Frontlet’s {FOREHEAD BAND’S} Between your Eye’s. And you Shall Write Them Upon The Doorpost’s Of your House And On your Gate’s. These Are they Who Have Not Defiled themselves By Relations With woman, For They Are {PURE AS} Virgin’s. These Are they Who Follow The LAMB Wherever He Goes, These Are They Who Have Been Ransomed {PURCHASED, REDEEMED} From Among men As The First Fruits For GOD And The LAMB. No Lie Was Found To Be Upon their Lip’s For They Are Blameless {SPOTLESS, UNTAINTED, WITHOUT BLEMISH} Before The Throne Of GOD. Then I saw Another Angel Flying In Midair, With An Eternal GOSPEL {GOOD NEWS} To Tell To The inhabitants Of The earth, To Every Race And Tribe And Language And people. And He Cried With A Mighty Voice, Revere GOD And Give Him GLORY {HONOR AND PRAISE IN WORSHIP}, For The Hour Of His Judgment Has Arrived, Fall down Before Him; Pay Him Homage And Adoration And Worship Him Who Created Heaven And earth, The Sea And Spring’s {FOUTAINS} Of Water.

8] My son, hear the Instruction of your father; reject not nor forsake the teaching of your mother. HEAR MY sons, the Instruction of a Father, and Pay Attention in Order to Gain and to Know Intelligent Discernment, Comprehension, and Interpretation {OF SPIRITUAL MATTERS}. My son, keep your fathers {GOD GIVEN} Commandment and Forsake Not The Law Of {GOD} your mother {TAUGHT YOU}.

9] For They Are A {VICTOR’S} Chaplet {GARLAND} Of Grace Upon your Head And Chain’s And Pendant’s {OF GOLD WORN BY KINGS} For your Neck.

10] My son, if sinner’s entice you, do not consent. Blessed {HAPPY, FORTUNATE,

PROSPEROUS, AND ENVIABLE} Is The man who walk’s and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly {FOLLOWING THEIR ADVICE, THEIR PLANS AND PURPOSES} nor Stand’s {SUBMISSIVE AND INACTIVE} in the path where sinner’s walk, nor sit’s down {TO RELAX AND REST} where the scornful {AND THE MOCKERS} gather. Take No part In And Have No Fellowship with the fruit-less deed’s and enterprise’s of darkness, but instead {LET YOUR LIVES BE SO AS IN CONTRAST AS TO} Expose And Reprove And Convict Them.

11] If they say, come with us; let us lie in wait {TO SHED} blood, let us ambush the innocent without cause {AND SHOW THAT HIS PIETY IS IN VAIN}. For among My people are found wicked men, they watch like fowlers who lie in wait; they set a trap, they catch men.

12] Let us swallow them up alive as does sheol {THE PLACE OF THE DEAD} and whole, as those who go down into the pit {OF THE DEAD}.

13] We shall find and take all kind’s of precious good’s {WHEN OUR VICTIMS ARE PUT OUT OF THE WAY}, we shall fill our house’s with plunder;

14] Throw in your lot with us {THEY INSIST} and be a sworn brother and comrade; let us all have one purse in common–

15] My Son, Do Not Walk In The Way With them; Restrain your Foot From their Path; I Have Restrained my Feet From Every evil Way, That I Might Keep Your Word {HEARING, RECEIVING, LOVING AND OBEYING IT}.

16] For their feet run to evil and they make haste to shed blood.

17] For in vain is the net spread in the sight of any bird.

18] But {WHEN THESE MEN SET A TRAP FOR OTHERS} they are lying in wait for their own blood. they set an ambush for their own lives. He Who Is Steadfast In Righteousness {UPRIGHTNESS AND RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD} Attains To Life, but he who pursues evil does it to his own death.

19] So are the way’s of everyone who is greedy of gain; such {GREED FOR PLUNDER} takes away the lives of it’s possessor’s. He who is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own household, But he Who Hate’s Bribe’s Will Live. Woe to those who join house to house {AND BY VIOLENTLY EXPELLING THE POORER OCCUPANTS ENCLOSE LARGE ACREAGE} and join field to field until there is no place for other’s and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land. Like the partridge that gather’s a brood which she did not hatch and sit’s on egg’s she has not laid, So Is he who get’s riche’s by unjust mean’s and not by right, he will leave them, or they will leave him, in the midst of his day’s and at his end he will be a fool. For the love of money is the root of all evil’s; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the Faith and pierced themselves through with many acute {MENTAL} pang’s.

20] WISDOM Cries Aloud In The Street’s; She Raise’s Her Voice In The Market’s. Now On The Final And Most Important Day Of The Feast, JESUS Stood, And He Cried In A loud Voice, If Any man Is Thirsty, Let him Come To Me And Drink.

21] She Cries At The Head Of Noisy Intersection’s {IN THE CHIEF GATHERING PLACES}; At The Entrance Of The City Gate’s She Speaks.

22] How long, O’ simple one’s {OPEN TO evi} Will you love being simple? And the scoffer’s delight in scoffing and {SELF-CONFIDENT} fool’s hate Knowledge?

23] If you Will Turn {REPENT} And Give Heed To My Reproof. Behold, I {WISDOM} Will Pour Out My Spirit Upon you. I Will Make My Word’s Known To you. And Afterward I Will Pour Out My Spirit Upon All flesh; And your sons And your daughters Shall Prophesy, your old men Shall dream dreams, your young men Shall See Visions. Even Upon The menservants And Upon The maidservants In Those Days Will I Pour Out My Spirit And I Will Show Signs And Wonders In The Heavens And On The earth, Blood And Fire And Columns Of Smoke. And The Spirit Of The LORD Shall Rest Upon him—The Spirit Of WISDOM And Understanding, The Spirit Of Counsel And Might, The Spirit Of Knowledge And Of The Reverential And Obedient Fear Of The LORD–And Shall Make him Of Quick Understanding, And his Delight Shall Be In The Reverential And Obedient Fear Of The LORD. And Shall NOT Judge By The Sight Of his Eye’s Neither Decide By The Hearing Of his Ear’s. But With Righteousness And Justice Shall He Judge The Poor And Decide With Fairness For The Meek, The Poor, And The Downtrodden On The earth; And He Shall Smite The earth And The oppresser With The Rod Of His Mouth, And With The Breath Of His Lip’s He Shall Slay The wicked. And Righteousness Shall Be The Girdle Of His Waist And Faithfulness The Girdle Of his Loin’s. And The Wolf Shall Dwell With The Lamb, And The Leopard Shall Lie Down With The Kid, And The Calf And The Young Lion And The Fatted Domestic Animal Together; And A Little Child Shall Lead Them. And The Cow And The Bear Shall Feed Side By Side, Their Young Shall Lie Down Together, And The Lion Shall Eat Straw Like The Ox. And The Sucking Child Shall Play Over The Hole Of The Asp, And The Weaned Child Shall Put his Hand On The Adder’s Den They Shall Not Hurt Or Destroy In All My Holy Mountain, For The earth Shall Be Full Of The Knowledge Of The LORD As The Water’s Cover The Sea. {FOR I ALWAYS PRAY TO} The GOD Of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST THE FATHER OF GLORY That He May Grant You A Spirit Of WISDOM And Revelation {OF INSIGHT INTO MYSTERIES AND SECRETS} In The {DEEP AND INTIMATE} Knowledge Of Him. By Having The Eye’s Of your Heart Flooded With Light, So That you Can Know And Understand The Hope To Which He Has Called you, And How Rich Is His Glorious Inheritance In The Saint’s {HIS SET APART ONES}. And {SO THAT YOU CAN KNOW AND UNDERSTAND} What Is The Immeasurable And Unlimited And Surpassing Greatness Of His Power In And For us Who Believe, As Demonstrated In The Working Of His Mighty Strength. Which He Exerted In CHRIST When He Raised Him From The DEAD And Seated Him At His {OWN} Right Hand In The Heavenly {PLACE’S}.

24] Because I Have Called And you Have Refused {TO ANSWER} Have Stretch Out My Hand And No Man Has Heeded It. But you Forsake The LORD, Who Forget And Ignore My Holy Mount {ZION}, Who prepare a table for gad {the babylonian god of destiny} and who furnish mixed drink’s for meni {the god of destiny}–I Will Destine you {SAYS THE LORD} For The Sword, And you Shall All Bow Down To The Slaughter, Because When I Called, you Did Not Answer; When I Spoke, you Did Not Listen Or Obey, but you did what was evil In My Eye’s, And you chose that in which I did not Delight. So I Will Choose their delusions and mockings, their calamities and affliction’s, And I Will Bring their fear’s upon them–Because When I Called, no one answered; When I Spoke, they did not listen or obey, but they did what was evil in My Sight and chose that in which I did not Delight. And Now, Because you have done all these thing’s, Say’s The LORD, And {BECAUSE} When I Spoke To you Persistently {EVEN RISING UP EARLY AND SPEAKING} you did not listen, And When I Called you, you did not answer. Therefore Will I Do This House {THE TEMPLE} Which Is Called By My Name And In Which you Trust, To The Place Which I Gave To you and to your father’s As I Did To Shiloh. But they refused to listen and turned a rebellious and stubborn shoulder and made heavy and dull their ear’s that they might not hear. Yes, they made their heart’s as an adament stone or diamond point, lest they should hear the Law and the Word’s Which THE LORD OF HOST’S Had Sent By His Spirit Through The Former Prophet’s Therefore There Came Great Wrath From THE LORD OF HOST’S. So It Came To Pass That As He Cried And They Would Not Hear {HE SAID} So they Shall cry and I Will Not Answer, Say’s THE LORD OF HOST’S.

25] And you Treated As Nothing All My Counsel And would Accept None Of My Reproof.

26] I Also Will Laugh At your Calamity; I Will Mock When The Thing Comes That Shall Cause you Terror And Panic. He Who Sits In The Heavens Laughs, The LORD Has them In Derision {AND IN SUPREME CONTEMPT HE MOCKS THEM}.

27] When your Panic Comes As A Storm And Desolation And your Calamity Comes On As A Whirlwind, When Distress and Anguish Come Upon you. When The Whirlwind Passes, the wicked are no more, But The {UNCOMPRISINGLY} Righteous Have An Everlasting Foundation.

28] Then Will they Call Upon Me {WISDOM} But I Will Not Answer; they Will Seek Me Early And Diligently But they Will Not Find Me. In That Day you Will Cry Out Because Of your king you have chosen for yourselves, But The LORD Will Not Hear you Then. Will GOD hear his cry— when trouble come s upon him? {THE PEOPLE} cry out because of the pride of evil men, But He Does Not Answer. Surely GOD Will Refuse To Answer {THE CRY WHICH IS} Vanity {VAIN AND EMPTY—-INSTEAD OF ABIDING TRUST}; neither Will The ALMIGHTY Regard It–And when you spread forth your hand’s {IN PRAYER IMPLORING HELP} I Will Hide My Eye’s From you; Even Though you Make Many Prayers I Will Not Hear, your Hand’s Are Full Of Blood. Wash yourselves, Make yourselves Clean; Put Away The evil Of your Doing’s From Before My Eye’s! Cease To Do evil. They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers. who refused to hear My Words; they have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have Broken My Covenant Or Solemn Pledge Which I Made With their father’s. Therefore Thus Say’s The LORD; Behold, I am Bringing evil And Calamity Upon them Which they Will Not Be Able To Escape; Though they Cry To Me, I Will NOT Listen To them. Then Will they Cry To The LORD, But He Will Not Answer them; He Will Even Hide His Face From them At That Time, because they have made their deed’s evil. And when you spread forth your hand’s {IN PRAYER IMPLORING HELP}, I Will Hide My Eye’s From you; Even Though you Make Many Prayer’s, I Will Not Hear, your hand’s Are Full Of Blood. {OR} you do ask {GOD FOR THEM} and yet fail to receive,because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motive’s, your intention is {WHEN YOU GET YOUR DESIRE} to spend it in sensual pleasure’s. You {ARE LIKE} unfaithful wife’s {HAVING ILLICIT LOVE AFFAIRS WITH THE WORLD AND BREAKING YOUR MARRIAGE VOW TO GOD}! Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being GOD’S enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world take’s his stand as an enemy of GOD. Or do you suppose that the scripture is speaking to no purpose that Say’s, The Spirit Whom He Has Caused To Dwell In us And He Yearns Over us And He Yearns For The Spirit {TO BE WELCOMED} With A Jealous Love? But He Give’s us More And More Grace {POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO MEET THIS EVIL TENDECY AND ALL OTHERS FULLY}. That Is Why He Say’s, GOD Set’s Himself Against The proud and haughty But Give’s Grace {CONTINUALLY} To The Lowly {THOSE WHO ARE HUMBLE ENOUGH TO RECEIVE IT} So Be Subject To GOD, resist the devil {STAND FIRM AGAINST him} and he will flee from you. Come Close To GOD And He Will Come Close To you. {RECOGNIZE THAT YOU ARE} sinner’s, Get your Soiled Hand’s Clean: {REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN DISLOYAL} wavering individual’s with divided interest’s, and Purify your heart’s {OF YOUR SPIRITUAL ADULTERY}. {AS YOU DRAW NEAR TO GOD} Be Deeply Penitent And Grieve, Even Weep {OVER YOUR DISLOYALTY}, Let your Laughter Be Turned To Grief And your Mirth To Dejection And Heartfelt Shame {FOR YOUR SINS}. Humble yourselves {FEELING VERY INSIGNIFICENT} In The Presence Of The LORD, And He Will Exalt you {HE Will LIFT YOU UP AND MAKE YOUR LIVES SIGNIFICANT}.

29] Because they Hated Knowledge And Did Not Choose The Reverent And Worshipful Fear Of The LORD. The Reverent Fear And Worshipful Awe Of The LORD {INCLUDES} The hatred of evil, pride, arrogance, the evil way, and perverted and twisted speech I Hate.

30] Would Accept None Of My Counsel, And Despised All My Reproof. But MY People Would Not Hearken To MY Voice, And Israel Would Have None Of Me.

31] Therefore Shall they Eat Of The Fruit Of their Own Way And Be Satiated With their Own Device’s

32] For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, and the careless ease of {SELF—CONFIDENT} fool’s shall destroy them. For the fool speaks folly and his mind plan’s iniquity; practicing profane ungodliness and speaking error concerning the LORD, leaving the craving of the hungry unsatisfied and causing the drink of the thirsty to fail.

33] But Whoso Hearkens To Me {WISDOM} Shall Dwell Securely And In Confident Trust And Shall Be Quiet, Without fear or dread of evil.

Chapter 2

MY SON, if you Will Receive My Word’s And Treasure Up My Commandment’s Within you.

2] Making your Ear Attentive To Skillful And Godly WISDOM And Inclining And Directing your Heart And Mind To Understanding {APPLYING ALL YOUR POWERS TO THE QUEST FOR IT.} Listen {CONSENT AND SUBMIT} To The Words Of The Wise And Apply your Mind To My Knowledge;

3] Yes, If you Cry Out For Insight And Raise your Voice For Understanding.

4] If you Seek {WISDOM} As For Silver And Search For Skillful And Godly WISDOM As For Hidden Treasure’s. For The Gaining Of It Is Better Than The Gaining Of Silver, And The Profit Of It Better Than Fine Gold.

5] Then you Will Understand The Reverent And Worshipful Fear Of The LORD And Find The Knowledge Of {OUR OMNISCIENT} GOD. The Reverent Worshipful Fear Of The LORD Is The Beginning And The Principal And Choice Part Of Knowledge {ITS STARTING POINT AND ITS ESSENCE}; but fool’s despise Skillful and Godly WISDOM, Instruction, and Discipline. But To man He Said To Behold, The Reverential Fear Of The LORD–That Is WISDOM; And To Depart From evil Is Understanding. Teacher, Which Kind Of Commandment Is Great And Important {THE PRINCIPAL KIND} In The Law? {SOME COMMANDMENTS ARE LIGHT—WHICH ARE HEAVY?}. 6] For The LORD Gives Skillful And Godly WISDOM; From His Mouth Come knowledge And Understanding.

7] He Hides Away Sound And Godly WISDOM And Stores It For The Righteous {THOSE WHO ARE UPRIGHT AND IN RIGHT STANDING WITH HIM}; He Is A Shield To those Who Walk Uprightly And In Integrity.

8] That He May Guard The Paths Of Justice; YES, He Preserves The Way Of His Saints. He Will Guard The Feet Of His Godly Ones, But The wicked shall be silenced and perish in darkness; for by strength Shall no man prevail. Bless Our GOD, O’ Peoples Give Him Grateful Thanks And Make The Voice Of His Praise Be Heard. Who Put And Kept us Among The Living, And Has Not Allowed Our Feet To Slip.

9] Then you Will Understand Righteousness, Justice, And Fair Dealing {IN EVERY AREA AND RELATION}; YES, you Will Understand Every Good Path.

10] For skillful and Godly WISDOM Shall Enter Into your Heart, And Knowledge Shall Be Pleasant To you. WISDOM Rests {SILENTLY} In The mind And heart Of him Who Has Understanding, but that which is in the inward part of {SELF-CONFIDENT} fools is made known.

11] Discretion Shall Watch Over you, Understanding Shall Keep you.

12] To Deliver you From The Way Of evil And The evil man, From men Who Speak Perverse Thing’s And Are Liar’s.

13] Men Who Forsake The Path’s Of Uprightness To Walk In The Way’s Of darkness. The {BASIS OF THE} Judgment {INDICTMENT, THE TEST BY WHICH MEN ARE JUDGED, THE GROUND FOR THE SENTENCE} Lies In This; The Light Has Come Into The world, And people have lived in the darkness rather than and more and more than the Light, for their works {DEEDS} were evil. Woe To those Who Call evil Good And Good evil, Who Put darkness for Light and Light for darkness, Who Put Bitter For Sweet And Sweet For Bitter!

14] Who Rejoice To Do evil And Delight In The Perverseness Of evil. Though They Are Fully Aware Of GODS Decree That Those Who Do Such Things Deserve To DIE, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them.

15] Who are crooked in their way’s, wayward and devious in their path’s.

16] {DISCRETION SHALL WATCH OVER YOU, UNDERSTANDING SHALL KEEP YOU} To Deliver you From The alien woman, From the outsider with her flattering words, Discretion Shall Watch over you, Understanding Shall keep you. Why Should you, My son, Be Infatuated With A loose woman, Embrace The bosom Of An Outsider, And Go Astray? For The Lips Of A loose woman Drip Honey As A Honeycomb, And her Mouth Is Smoother Than Oil;

17] Who Forsakes the husband and guide of her youth and Forgets The Covenant Of her GOD. Yet you ask, why does He reject it? Because The LORD Was Witness {TO THE COVENANT MADE AT YOUR MARRIAGE} Between you And The wife Of your Youth, Against Whom you Have Dealt Treacherously And To Whom you Were Faithless. Yet she Is your Companion And The wife Of your Covenant {MADE BY YOUR MARRIAGE VOWS}. And Did Not GOD Make {YOU AND YOUR WIFE} One {FLESH}? Did Not One Make you And Preserve your Spirit Alive? Because He Sought A Godly Offering {FROM YOUR UNION}.Therefore Take Heed To yourselves And Let No One Deal Treacherously And Be Faithless To The Wife Of His Youth. For The LORD, The GOD Of Israel Says, I Hate Divorce And Marital Separation And him Who Covers his Garment {HIS WIFE} With Violence.
