ASSURANCE
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
—Psalm 23:4 KJV
• Heavenly Father, I know that every journey begins with the first step. Bless me to know when and how to take that first step, and grant me the wisdom to know when to take the next. Shower me with the patience needed to allow for the next steps to take shape on my journey of life, family, truth, brotherly love, and friendship. Amen.
• Security in our lives doesn’t occur with our words; it occurs because of our actions.
• It seems as though when you try to do the right thing and be professional, people take it the wrong way. God says to turn the other cheek and to keep your eye on the prize, which is his kingdom. I say to all that things get better with time and when staying focused. Remain the same person always, no matter what happens during your day.
• It is important to remember that when one door closes, another opens; however, we may look so regretfully upon the closed door that we don’t see the one that just opened before us.
• What does life have to offer? Life is what you make of it. There will be hard times and good times, in different situations, so strap on your boots and get walking.
• You may walk many miles before you see the rainbow, and once there, you might ask, Now what do I do?
Start another journey filled with God, family, friends.
• Reach up as high as you can, and never say what you can’t do, just what can be done. Never let the negative take your joy.
• Smile at those you pass, and hug those with whom you feel comfortable. Everyone needs a shoulder to lean on.
• My arms are open and waiting, with a box of tissue for crying, if needed. Be a good listener for those who need to talk.
• Never hold in feelings because they will overwhelm you and that will steal your thunder in life.
• Be careful of those who come into your world, for a minute or for a lifetime. You never know from where a blessing will travel, so continue to be open and to receive, yet pass on remembering that the blessing isn’t yours; it’s the Lord’s.
• I was blessed to awake this morning to another day, as with every day that the Almighty allows me to rise. I give glory to him and to be blessed with my family and friends who are true within his heart. Without him, my journey will not be complete; therefore, without him my journey will cease to exist.
• Thank you for my many blessings, Lord. As you see fit for me to continue to receive, my arms are open to accept thee, not only for myself but for those who need assistance in receiving you, in your name. Amen.
• Use me to reach someone in need right now, dear Lord. I trust in your word and believe in your purpose. I lift my hand to give you praise, and all that I have is yours. Someone out there needs to pray or has just sent up a prayer. I have that person on my prayer list, and the blessing is on the way.
BLESSINGS
Every good and perfect gift is from above.
—James 1:17 NIV
• Good night, all of you who are preparing to rest those weary eyes. May your dreams be pleasant and your rest rejuvenating.
• Be safe in your daily journey, and appreciate all that is done and said on your behalf.
• I am blessed to be alive. Yes. I am blessed to have my health. Yes. I am blessed to have employment. Yes. I am blessed for my family. Yes. I thank God for all he has done and will continue to do for me in my life. I ask that wherever I go, those around me will be blessed while in my presence. Use me to better someone’s life, and let me be happy for everything I have in life.
• Take jealous emotions out of my thoughts, and let thankfulness creep in slowly. Take my children and wrap angels around them to stay out of harm’s way. Let their friends be blessed by their presence also.
• As we open our hearts today to strangers, bless each and every one of them with a smile. Let’s give something without wanting anything in return. Let’s bless all day and night; then watch our own blessings cup overflow with joy and excitement and with our glorious God smiling down from heaven above on us.
• God will bless you today. Keep your head held high and your mind fixed on the good. Many people question when their blessing will overflow. Remember that baby steps are blessings that lead to bigger ones. Stay strong.
• When you step forward to do what God said to do, the gates of heaven open and pour out blessings. My family has been truly blessed. I pray that I can continue to follow God’s demands and know when he is speaking to me. Faith the size of a mustard seed is all it takes.
• Today will be amazing for everyone who decides to read this. Your blessings await you and your family. The world is at your fingertips; don’t let it pass you by. Grab hold of what is right in front of you, and hold on tight for the ride. All things will come when it’s time. Don’t worry about the mistakes you make daily—we all make mistakes. Ask, and it shall be given—those are the words of the day.
• For those who woke up this morning wondering what today would be like, it’s a wonderful day and will be wonderful all day. The Almighty has a hand in everything you do and say today. Let your guide do his job, and you stay in your place. We all have struggles and should lift one another up, not tear one another down. Find time to lend a hand or give something away to a friend in need; then watch your blessings overflow.
• An old saying is Another day, another dollar.
When we see another day to make another dollar, we need to give God the glory for it all. Remember to count your blessings and help someone along the way to success. Never let your mind play tricks on you and want more than you can reach for in life. God will direct your path through it all.
CONNECTIONS
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one member one of another.
—Romans 12:5 KJV
• Isn’t it funny how when we are faced with issues and having a tough day, true friends can feel it, or we end up on their minds, and they call us. Thanks for being there, friends; I’m glad that you are. Where I go, I go in faith. The turmoil doesn’t matter. My faith is well founded; therefore, my future is secure with the Almighty.
• You never know why another comes into your world; then again, it’s not for either of you to know. Just allow the will to take hold and prepare for the ride. If either of you can provide anything to assist the other, it is through motivation, encouragement, enlightenment, a word or an action, or anything that is considered of a
