About this ebook

After many years of study and research the author came to the realization that what most Christians believe contradicts the very WORD of GOD. This is a major cause for all the angst in the world today, as well as in America. Seminaries and preachers contradict the very WORD of GOD every Sunday. He recently shared a copy of this with a seminary degreed missionary/preacher that spent about 35 years on the mission field in South America. Three weeks later he got a phone call from the man. He confessed that he had been taught a lie in seminary and also confessed that his eyes had been opened to truth. The man said that he would like to call the author “father” but that he would take the admonishment of Jesus “to call no man on earth father” seriously. He said that he would be considered least in the kingdom of God for all of time due to what he had taught and preached for many decades. Are you ready to be set free from the chains that bind?

Author

Ernest Reagan Clark II

The author grew up in church, but fell away shortly after graduation. There was much false teaching in the church at that time, as there is today. After about 16-17 years of running from God he came back with great passion for His word. Trust the word of God over man’s word. Did the apostles live under the new covenant after Jesus ascension? The author has asked many preachers this question. All said “yes.” Well, the apostles said “NO!” The contents of this book are based on scripture, historical documented facts, and not the opinions of any man. Ooops! Tis the opinion of the apostles, especially Paul. You may want to put on your sun-shades. THE TRUTH IS BLINDING!!

The source that I use when I am studying and comparing biblical versions is the online Blue Letter Bible. It has written commentaries, as well as audio and video helps within the tools section. Commentaries are nothing more than man’s opinion. I use commentaries just to see if man’s interpretation aligns with what the scriptures state, along with extra-biblical historical facts. I will use many versions of the Bible amongst the versions of the Blue Letter Bible. I will list the versions below and an abbreviation that I will use for each version.

    Suggestions

I suggest that you keep a notepad and pen handy when reading this material. Make notes of scripture to read, as well as notations of people, and so forth, so that you can do your own research using the internet. When one acquires their own knowledge from their own efforts it seems to stick in the mind better. Please, follow your instincts and research it for yourself. Jesus admonished the multitude and His apostles the following: And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ (Mathew 23:9-10, KJV). Allow no man to foist his beliefs upon you. Do not let the teachings of man be your standard. Allow the word of God and historical documented facts to be the source of your beliefs.

    Preface

I have asked many people a question that is critical for such a time as this; does the Bible contradict itself? I have only had one person to give a positive response. All the rest have given a negative response. I asked a guy yesterday and he said no. Several of the people that I have asked are preachers. They all stated no. The only positive response I received was back in the summer of 2017 by a woman in Brazil. If I were to ask you, what would your response be?

Well, what was your response? I will assume that it was No, the Bible does not contradict itself. At that point I begin to delve deeper and ask questions. Let me state this here before I offend anyone, or anyone assumes that I am a fool that does not believe in God. I walk on water for my Father who is in heaven. I am steeped in the word of God and also in historical events that took place in the latter days of the old covenant. Have you ever questioned your beliefs based on the scriptures? Do your beliefs align with what the scriptures state? Most will state yes at this point. Well, at this point I will reveal otherwise.

As I began to study the scriptures I realized that what I had been taught as a child in the church and was hearing on the radio and television did not align with what the scriptures state. There are many time elements in the statements of the apostles, John the Baptist, and Jesus, concerning the timing of His παρουσία. This is the Greek term used in the Textus Receptus, which is the source the King James version of the Bible was translated from. The transliteration is Parousia. It is obvious that it was a major event. Microsoft Word even changes the spelling from lower case to upper case. The definitions given by man hundreds and even over a thousand years from the event are not always the best, especially when they are not familiar with the old language and cultural symbolic language. Strong’s Concordance gives the following: a being near, i.e. advent (often, return; specially, of Christ to punish Jerusalem, or finally the wicked); (by implication) physically, aspect:—coming, presence. Based on my studies and knowledge of history of the latter days spoken of in the Bible the following would be better terms describing the event: manifestation, revelation, revealing, or advent. By the time you get through this material I believe that you will see that this is a proper rendering of what Jesus and His apostles described about the great revealing that was on their horizon, and not ours. We will allow scripture and history to be our standard and not the teachings of man.

If you have beliefs that make Jesus out to be King of lies instead of King of kings, what would be the proper thing to do? There are many that have abandoned their faith and become atheist, or agnostics, one who is skeptical of the existence of God. The proper thing to do would be to shut down your television and radio and begin your own studies. I recommend finding an online study Bible that has many versions of the Bible so you can compare. I use the Blue Letter Bible. It is very handy and I have become accustomed to it. It is very handy when studying the New Testament scriptures. It has fourteen English versions, as well as the Textus Receptus, which is what the King James Bible was translated from. It is in the Greek language, but there are convenient study tools, such as highlighters, that help to define the Greek into English definitions. You also have access to Strong’s Concordance and many other dictionaries. There are many other study sites out there, but this is the one that I am familiar with. I suppose it is akin to the Canon/Nikon issue; which one is better? The one that you are familiar with! 41177.png

If you have not done your own studies, then you have nothing to battle for. I have done my own studies and was shocked at what I discovered. People can say what they want about the King James Bible, but if you have not studied the original Greek text, then you are at a great loss for reality and truth. The King James translators changed many words that have totally different meanings that have wreaked havoc on this world. The end of the age is not the end of the world. The destruction of the temple and land occupied by the Jews in AD 70 was not the destruction of the world. Yet, this is the idea planted by the King James Bible. There are many versions that are superior to the King James Bible. If you have not done the studies yourself, then you are at a great loss. I have studied the fourteen English versions on the Blue Letter Bible and was surprised to see that there are no perfect versions.

Well, the writings of Enoch which the book of Jude quotes from in the next to last book in the Bible, also states that man would change the word of God. Prophecy fulfilled!

I am amazed at the reactions I have seen on social media and in person about the King James Bible. People are willing to take a stand for it, yet they have never studied the original language that it was translated from. I promise you, if I had stated interpreted from instead of translated from, there would be some mocker-scoffer come out and mock me. Most will miss this point. Well, to translate is to document from one language to another in writing. To interpret is to hear in one language and speak to others in a language that they comprehend. Yes, I have had a person to mock and scoff at me because of such a minor issue, yet they will verbally assault any that criticize the King James Bible. Well, if you have not studied the issue, then you have nothing to stand for. Any that have studied the issue will confirm that there are major errors in the King James Bible. Some will be revealed within the covers of this book, but I reveal about a gazillion errors in the first book that I wrote back in 2016, For Such A Time As This: Let My People Go, You End-Times Doomsday Sayers! Now, let’s just see if your beliefs align with the scriptures.

Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Luke 21:32 (KJV)

Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Luke 21:32 (NKJV)

I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place. Luke 21:32 (NLT)

This generation was the one that Jesus was speaking to and not ours today. Assuredly, Jesus was not telling a lie. He was telling that generation truth. If all was not fulfilled during that generation, then Jesus was not telling truth. Well, if He was not, then He is not King of kings. This would make Him King of lies. I will confirm truth within the covers of this book.

Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them; the one who also had leaned back on His bosom at the supper and said, Lord, who is the one who betrays You? So Peter seeing him said to Jesus, Lord, and what about this man? Jesus said to him, If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me! Therefore this saying went out among the brethren that that disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? John 21:20-23 (NASB)

Jesus told Peter here that John would live to see His great advent. There were rumors that John would not die. John experienced the death of the flesh and blood, the human body, but history attests to the fact that he lived through the consummation of the ages in AD 70. It is believed that he was the only apostle to live beyond the destruction of the temple. Based on scripture John was the only apostle at the cross of Christ. This being the case, it is no wonder that Jesus allowed Him to never experience soul sleep, death of the soul. All the other apostles died under the law. We shall prove this with scripture. No, the Old Covenant did not end at the cross. It would be forty years later. I have asked many people if the apostles lived under the new covenant after Jesus ascension, including preachers, and every single one said yes. We will allow scripture to refute this. The coming age is not in our future. We are living in the new heaven and earth. Proof is coming!

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. Mathew 10:23 (KJV)

When you are persecuted in one town, flee to the next. I tell you the truth, the Son of Man will return before you have reached all the towns of Israel. Mathew 10:23 (NLT)

This is a verse that really caught my attention. I am just tweaking your interest here. I will go into far more detail in other sections later. Keep this in mind. Who was Jesus speaking to here? He was speaking to His apostles here and not the United States of America. He was not speaking to any living man today. What He stated here was critical for that generation. Sadly, it has become critical for our generation, yet it is history to us and was on that generation’s horizon. That generation was the very elect of God, and not us today. John Calvin missed the boat on this one. Uhhhh ohhhh!!!! Cultural symbolic language can cause much confusion to people not familiar with cultural idioms and hyperboles. More to come!

Jesus gave a time element here of the revelation, manifestation, or advent, of an event that was on their horizon, and not ours.

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:14-15 (KJV)

Later on, after John was arrested, Jesus went into Galilee, where he preached God’s Good News. The time promised by God has come at last! he announced. The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News! Mark 1:14-15 (NLT)

But after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn nigh; repent and believe in the glad tidings. Mark 1:14-15 (DBY)

It is amazing that Jesus would state this. It was basically the same statement that John the Baptist made prior to the baptism and beginning of Jesus’ ministry: In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Mathew 3:1-2, KJV). Men are still preaching that the coming of God’s kingdom is on our horizon. Many have even given dates that failed. Based on the Biblical description of a prophet, those professing such today are false prophets and should be abandoned. There will be no rewards for financing a liar and false prophet. If one has a false view of scripture and historical documented facts, then Jesus, John the Baptist, and the apostles meet the Biblical definition of a false prophet. Hmmm…it is time to realign ones views with reality or to abandon a false religion. I have done my own studies and research and my views now align with the scripture. From my discoveries the scripture is spot-on with its timing statements, if you can consider forty years at hand, or a short time.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 1 Corinthians 10:11 (KJV)

These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age. 1 Corinthians 10:11 (NLT)

These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come. 1 Corinthians 10:11 (NIV)

This should be an eye-opener for anyone that is discerning. Paul wrote this letter to the Corinthians over twenty years after Jesus ascension. The KJV states ends of the world. Out of the fourteen English versions on the Blue Letter Bible only two state end of world; the KJV and the WEB. The other twelve versions state end or culmination of the age. As I began to really study the scriptures I noticed that in many verses the KJV states world and others state age. The end prophesied by the prophets, the apostles, and Jesus, was on their horizon and not ours. This is a great heresy today that is thwarting the mandate of the Gospel, the very purpose of the true believers, the healing of the nations. This is a mandate from God that is missed by the undiscerning. God is not a racist bigot like many that profess to be believers today. Under that which is perfect, the New Covenant, there is neither Jew nor Greek. Paul even explained that it was not about lineage, but about faith. He stated the following to the Romans: Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel (Romans 9:6, KJV).

Here is another instance where Paul goes even deeper about the promises of God; Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ (Galatians 3:16, KJV). The seed in this verse should be capitalized in all versions because it is speaking of Jesus the Seed, and not the Jews. Jesus is the Seed and the Jews are the seeds. The promises of old were to Abraham’s Seed, Jesus the Messiah, and not the Jews, so says Paul. The only version that capitalizes Seed is the NKJV. At least one got it right! Paul was explaining to the Galatians that the promises, which included the Promised Land, were to Jesus and not the Jews. The promises were just a shadow of things to come. When the sun comes over the shadow disappears. The Son came over in AD 70. It was all a foreshadow of the new heaven and earth that exists today. It was never about the land occupied by the Jews. The Promised Land is His kingdom which is in Heaven. His kingdom is not of this earth and never shall it be. His kingdom is the place of eternity. Heaven allows eternal life. Earth does not. This earth shall go on forever, but each human born into this world shall pass from life to death of the flesh and blood. The true believer, those in Christ under the new covenant, shall never experience death of the soul, the spirit.

The promises and His kingdom have become a major hindrance to the gospel message of peace in this world. There are false religions that promote a future kingdom of God being set up on this earth. There are false teachings of the land of Israel and the Jews being God’s chosen people in this epoch of time today. The old covenant was consummated in AD 70 and not at the cross. I cover that issue in great detail later on. The source for confirmation is the scripture and historical documented facts and not the opinions of any man. It was the opinion of Paul! I’ll go along with Paul over any seminary or man today. Paul was speaking to Gentiles at that time which were in the present day land of Turkey, about eight hundred miles from Jerusalem by land. The Promised Land is His Kingdom. His Kingdom is in Heaven. Man now has access to His kingdom, but not until the consummation of the ages in AD 70.

The author of Hebrews makes the following statement over twenty years after Jesus ascension; Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2, KJV). There are many speaking today, and in decades past, even centuries past, of the last days as if we are living in the last days. The last days spoken of in the scriptures were the last days, latter days, of the old covenant epoch of time. The apostles lived in the last days and not us today. If man had a correct perspective on the scripture he would realize this. We are not living in the prophesied last days. The reason it appears that way today is because of a lack of understanding of reality. Many took up the gospel message millennia ago to profit from it. They handed down false teachings that are still going on today because men in generations past deemed others that they have no personal knowledge of as Early Church Fathers. Well, Jesus made the following statement to the multitude and His apostles: And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven (Mathew 23:9, KJV). Father here is not equivalent to your earthly daddy. He is telling them not to look upon others as superior to them. Depend on the word of God, the scriptures, to be your source of wisdom and not the teachings of man. The Catholic Church was born out of such as what Jesus admonished against here. There are many heresies in this world today due to such as this. I will reveal a few later on. If one contradicts the very word of God then he is one whom Jesus was speaking against. The end prophesied by the prophets of old, which would include Daniel, the apostles, and Jesus the Christ, has come and gone. The end is nowhere in sight. Things may seem bleak today, but that is because of false teachings in the church, as well as in our antichrist education system. If mankind was focused on God Almighty, they would see that Jesus was the Prophesied One, the Seed of Abraham, and that it was about the SEED and not the seeds. This issue alone would conquer about a quarter of the negative issues the world is facing today.

The coming age is the age that we are living in. This age shall go on forever. Paul makes many statements about things of the coming age. We shall cover many of them within the covers of this book. He stated that at the consummation of the ages, which was on their horizon, that prophecy would be sealed. Daniel also made this statement. This means that there has not been any Holy Spirit inspired prophecy since the end prophesied by the prophets, apostles, and Jesus, was fulfilled in AD 70. All religions born after this event are false religions with false teachers. Fulfilled prophecy in AD 70 also nullified all previous false religions. Can you think of any false religions? I can think of many, but one is the most deadly religion in the world today, the false religion of Islam, or the Muslim faith. Those that are discerning know that Allah was a false god of a mythological local religion that was prevalent in the Middle East at that time. Allah was the moon god. I will speak more of this later.

There is only one GOD and HE is the CREATOR of all things and Jesus was the prophesied Messiah, the Christ. Fulfilled prophecy is the greatest testament of His revealing, manifestation, advent, revelation, etc. Jesus told His apostles that He was going to prepare a place for them. He told them that there were many mansions in His Father’s house, or many rooms, according to the version of the Bible. His Father’s house is His Father’s kingdom, not this earth. In the same conversation that He made this statement He made the following: Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also (John 14:19, KJV). The word used in the Textus Receptus Greek version for world here is κόσμος. The correct definition for this Greek term is inhabitants of the world, and not the literal earth, or kosmos. This is the reason that the apostles asked for signs of His coming. They knew that He was not literally coming back to this earth. All the signs of fulfilled prophecy were the revelation, the revealing, the manifestation, etc. of His advent. This gave them blessed assurance that He was in Heaven on His throne bringing about the consummation of the ages, the end of the old covenant, and the ushering in of that which is perfect, the New Covenant. More coming on this!

The majority of people in the church today are kicked back waiting on the new heaven and earth mentioned here: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea (Revelation 21:1, KJV). There is a chapter devoted to this subject. Most will be shocked to learn what the new heaven and earth are, but also the timing of the new heaven and earth. The Bible is loaded with cultural symbolic language. If you have never lived in or experienced another culture, then you absolutely have no idea of what I am stating here. I go into greater detail about this subject matter within the covers of this book. It is a very critical issue, but it won’t fly with many. Uhhhh ohhh!!!! I just used me some cultural symbolic language, an idiom. I made that statement in South America before a large audience many years ago and totally lost my interpreter. He was befuddled. Now, if I mentioned befuddled to anyone in another nation, I imagine that I will have just lost them. Well, there is such language in the scriptures. I will point out some very critical issues with such as this within the scriptures. Heaven and earth is one of these areas, but so is coming on clouds.

Paul admonished Timothy to diligently seek God and to rightly divide the word of God. Keep in mind that Timothy did not have the Bible that we have today. The scriptures were individual documents at that time and were stored in the temple. Did Timothy have access to these documents? Were there copies? I will have to ask when I pass through the gates of pearl. The new testament of the Bible was not scripture at that time. To rightly divide the word of God one must look at all relevant scripture concerning a particular issue and not just at a verse or two that tickles our fancy. Uhhhh ohhh!!! I just lost my buddies in Brazil with that cultural symbolism.

Rightly dividing the word of God is a very critical issue for the believers today. The KJV states "rightly
