CHAPTER 1

One Year Older

It was a fast year at school for the children. Linda was placed with Richard and Vicky. With help she learned to enjoy school work. Junior had lots of complaints. He had to dress nice, the long hours of sitting in a chair, the inactivity, the constant fighting between the senators and learning how to keep books. He said. I can’t wait for vacation. I’m sleeping the first week. Tabor said. It’s not going to be that easy. You have years of laws and proclamations to go over. Junior said. Why should I have to do all that? New Haven has a counsil for that. I’ll be spending most of my time with the Queen’s harem. Gaberial said. You’ll spend time in the Eastern Isles and checking on my Iron woods. You are a royal prince and your father’s represenative.

Fionia, Gordon and his parents came for a visit. Linda said. It’s been so long I thought you forgot. I have so much to say and don’t know where to start. Grandfather would you like to fight? I promise not to hurt you. Aunt Rose and Olivia said that we could fly with the white dragons on vacation, you have to be nice to maw maw Gillian, Aunt Ashley says she’s going to have a baby. Her grandfather asked. What one is Gillian? We met so many people. Gordon said. Gillian is Tabor’s second wife the one mama thought was nice. Gaberial is the pretty one with long yellow hair. You couldn’t stop talking about her coffee. Yes the one that shut your mother up. Lifted her right off the ground. Where is she? Fionia said I’ll find her.

Gaberial was in the kitchen fixing supper. Hello mother don’t get upset but Gordon’s parents are here too. It’s Alice’s birthday I could tell them I couldn’t find you. Her birthday already, we didn’t know, of course we knew. We have a present for her. Fionia said. Catch me up on her her grand parents want to take her out for a meal and let her have some wine. Gaberial said. The meal is going to have to wait till tomorrow. She does well in school and with her training. When her and Mabry have a good day they split a bottle of wine. She likes to go to Grabhow’s they have darts and she can practice her bow waiting for a meal. She eats a big breakfast, a light lunch and a decent supper. She told Alice she’s watching her figure. She’s friendly with one of the guards he gives her pointers on her weapons. You had better clean up supper is almost ready.

The woman started to sit. Alice said. It’s not our turn yet maw maw, the king sits first then the men then as guest we sit. Gaberial started carrying out food. The woman said. You would think they could have servants to do that work. Alice said. She does most of the cooking that’s her job. Uncle Mac helps run the country, Aunt Ashley runs the household the others have chores and duties the house runs well. Gordon said. We are taking you out tomorrow night for your birthday. Order anything you want and we’ll go anywhere you want. Can I invite a friend? He’s very nice. Fionia said It’s your day. Tell us about your school work. Alice said. Last week we went to the telegraph and learned orc talk. Richard caught on quick, nobody knows why orcs get it so quick. Richard said. It’s the clicking like a drum beat. Gaberial said. Any more interruptions and it’s five minutes. The man said. Young fellow you’ve finished one plate and started on another you eat a lot. Alice said. That’s Uncle Hap he always eats more than anyone, Aunt Susan says he has a hollow leg. This week was all about maps and geography. We learned about roads and rivers. How long it takes for things to get from one place to another so you know how long to wait and the different city names. The woman said. Nothing about the dragons states where you are going to live, your people and queen? Alice said. That’s next year along with the North Country, Western Continent and the Eastern Isles. Gaberial said. Children come help with dessert and coffee. Mabry carried out a big chocolate cake, Vicky and Richard carried out a white cake that said Happy Fifteenth. Gaberial brought out two pots of coffee. Louise said. Make a wish blow out the candles. Jack said. Now time for our presents, we didn’t forget. Linda said. Look Mabry my first long sword with my name on the scabbard a matching dagger with my initals. Fionia said. Diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds. It must have cost a fortune. Gennie said. Not that much we all chipped in. Hunter said Try it on. We wanted to get you a bow too but those things are hard to wrap and the arrows keep making holes in the paper. Linda said. About the same weight as my short sword a bit longer, I’ll have to learn how to walk and use it. Gaberial said. I made a pant and shirt for you for tomorrow. It’s not leather as you like but it should do.

A heavy snow had fallen for two days. Freya said. It’s been awhile, the children are growing like wild flowers. Gillian there’s a nice fire inside with a big easy chair for you. The others are out doing some light hunting. The whites have been informed they are waiting to see what the girls can do. We have good snow for sledding. Did I miss anything? Tabor said. We’re all waiting for hugs and kisses. Gaberial said. Junior tell your sisters we’re finally here and that Fionia is spoiling for a fight. ‘We’ll be there in about half an hour. We have two big ones in our sights. Tell daddy to get a fire started.’ Fionia said. I don’t see them. Where are they? Gaberial pointed, she took off. Jack said. Gordon you better follow her, the twins aren’t going to like it if she messes up their kills. Alice you might as well you know what your mother is capable of when she’s just playing. Fionia shot darts and webs at the sleds. The twins retalitted with their own darts. Fionia flew low and circled them with fire. Rose put out the fire. Olivia cast a ray of cold coming close to Fi. Alice said. Daddy there are two of them we have to help mama. Fionia flew even lower and pulled one of the sleds over. Alice followed and spit acid. Rose said Olivia did you see what she did to my sled? Take care of the child but don’t hurt her mama will get mad. Olivia sent up a partial strength ray of ice. Linda’s wings and tail became covered, she started to fall. Fionia and Gordon caught her. Fionia said. What were you two thinking? You know she couldn’t hurt you. Alice we were only playing, you could have got hurt. Olivia said. It was a light spell we would have caught her. Here Alice get in the sled I’ll take you home.

Tabor said. Alice you were told they were playing you shouldn’t have gotten involved. Let’s see what Gabby’s girls have for me to cook. Richard said. Rose Olivia I need my hugs. Rose said. I don’t know you. My brother is handsome and knows how to comb his fur. Richard ran to Gaberial with tears in his eyes. He said Mama. Rose said I wasn’t her brother because I’m ugly and didn’t comb my hair. Gaberial said. Of course you are mine and Tabor’s son. I gave you birth and fed you, your father gave you first bath.

Tabor said. Come on son let your daddy teach you how to cook for wendigos and blood thirsty dragons. Hemidall and Thor sledded up loaded down with walrus. Rose said. Mama I didn’t know he would take it so bad he is an orc after all. Her mother said. He gets his emotions from Tabor. He might look like me but he’s your father’s son maybe more than Junior. Tabor said. Fionia keep away from that food, I gave Richard the okay to poke you with a fork if you took any. Rose said. Little brother our daddy is teaching you how to cook. I don’t want to talk to you. You said I wasn’t your brother you made me cry and hurt my feelings. I was just fooling. Let me make it up to you. How about a night ride before anyone else? I’ll think about it. Daddy it’s still juicy I think it’s ready. Fionia ran to check, Richard waved the fork. Tabor cut off a piece and said. Perfect get your plates and make a line.

Gordon’s mother said. Linda don’t use your sleeve it’s unlady like. Her husband said. Leave her alone everyone is doing it. He wiped his face from elbow to wrist. Mabry said. Richard how ever did you do it? Some are red and juicy others are pink on the inside and some are burnt crisp. He said. The secert is how you hang the meat and stack the wood is it daddy. The top part cooks slow the part by the fire is done quickly. Right Daddy? Tabor said. That’s right son, it has to come out at the right time and you have to cook it like the people want it. Your mother is the hardest. Sometimes just warm and blood other times burnt to a crisp you always have to ask her. Gaberial said. I don’t care who cooked it. It came out right. Have you thought about Gillian? She came out said. Eva and Chris took care of me. I thought the baby could use some sun. Vicky said. The only thing that would make these perfect would be wine. Baccus arrived at the compound on a rainbow. Did someone say wine? I can handle that. Robin said she would be here tomorrow or the next day.

A light snow fell all night. Richard stood next to Rose and said. I love you, you big white mountain of fur even if you’re not an orc. Did you forget our ride? Rose said. Everything is ready. Hemidall keep an eye on us we may be out late. The sled sped over the new snow lit by a crescent moon. Richard asked when he would be able to drive. Rose said. Not until day time, mama and daddy wouldn’t like it if you got hurt. They are following us. Richard scanned the sky. Rose said. They are far above, I’ll call for them. The black and blue flew along side the sled. ‘This night flight was a good idea it’s very peaceful.’ ‘I thought you’d like it. You were pacing the floor, worried about the baby.’ Rose said. We could turn back now if you want. Richard said. Just a little cold keep going. A warm spell was placed on him, Rose started a wide slow turn. ‘I placed a warm spell on him, guess the cold made him tired.’ ‘He had a long day. Someone he loves very much said she didn’t love him. He stood over a fire and learned how to cook.’ ‘Daddy I told him I was sorry I’m going to teach him how to drive the sled tomorrow.’ ‘Don’t forget Vicky just because she’s a girl. The four of them care about each other very much, they stand together.’ Everyone was asleep except Gillian she said. I have some coffee fixed if you want it. Tabor said. Half a cup I have to go flying in the morning. Gaberial said. Why don’t Fi, Gordon and his parents take the girls, the young ones need to know they are cared for. Tabor said. Another good idea you’re on a roll don’t stop now. Rose said. I need to get some sleep me and Olivia have training tomorrow. Gaberial put Richard in her bed. The three of them sat looking into the fire without talking for a long time. Finally Tabor spoke. It’s almost dawn we should get a small nap. Gaberial said. I have one last idea my best. This is Freya’s house let her fix breakfast. I’m going to bed with a younger man if you hear noise ignore it. Tabor said. I’m carrying you to bed no fighting. I have to go to the bathroom first. She’s laying on my kidney with no sign of moving.

In the morning the twins showed the children how to hook up the sleds and harness the bears. The dragons flew off. Fionia roared their arrival. A white male flew up and said. We expected the black and blue. Fionia said. My parents are with younger children. My daughter and sister have come to play. The white said. Our children are ready also. Things may get rough accidents happen. Gordon said. I hope there are not many you know my wife’s can be here in a second. Young whites flew up one said. You are new here so one of you have to chase us. Mabry said I’ll be it. She said to herself. I know Linda’s moves she’s no challenge, she picked out a white and gave chase. Other whites got in her way trying to draw her off. It headed for the clouds to hide, she caught up and hit it with her wing. The dragons chased each other all over the sky. One was chasing Linda she dove and skimmed the ground it followed, Linda pulled up short the white plowed into the snow. Lunch was called.

Olivia said. Vicky slow big circles or you’ll dump your sled that means your grandfather. The bear could feel the inexperenced hands on the reins and went where ever they wanted. Vicky said the next time he doesn’t do what I want I’m going to throw flowers at his nose. She pulled right the bear went straight. It took Richard a few minutes to see what was going on he started throwing flowers. Rose and Olivia took the reins and headed up the mountain. Olivia said. Just a small fire for cooking the wendigo will be here later tonight. Gaberial had a short talk with both bears. Vicky said. Grandmother what did you tell them? Gaberial said. I told them if they didn’t behave I’d turn them into blankets and share their meat with the wendigo. Vicky said. If they don’t behave could I have one of the blankets? Olivia made a simple stew of meat, potatoes and carrots.

There was a lot of flying and games both day and night. Much magic and dancing with the wendigos. On the third day a female said. Your daughter flys well. Our child will be both white and black able to use cold and acid. Fionia said. Did you think I didn’t notice you making eyes at my husband? This is your only warning stay away or die. The female said. It is dark the advantage is yours. We will fight in the light. ‘Gaberial the child is coming early hurry.’ Gaberial said. Tabor, Fionia is going to be in a life or death battle tomorrow go see she only fights one. Girls make sure the children get back safe. There is something I have to attend to. Gillian said. Gabby you’re here, where’s Tabor? She said. He’s watching over Fi, Hunter, Hap, Mav go help him. Susan, Louise the twins are on the mountain by the wendigo cave, make sure they get back safe. What do you want me to do? Ashley bring two bottles of wine not that cheap stuff. Help Gillian drink slowly. I’ll get ready to catch and cast a calm spell. The room emptied, Gaberial directed Gillian slowly the baby emerged. Gaberial cleared nose and mouth she said. This one had you fooled Ashley it’s a boy not a girl, a fine half blue with elf features. I’ll tell Tabor the news when I go to Fionia. Freya, tomorrow or tonight the babies will be hungry I think some of your stew will help with the chill.

Fionia said. Mother you finally got here. Gaberial said. I was busy. Tabor I have some bad news for you. We thought Gillian would make it home before the baby came and that it would be a girl. You have a boy named Felippe, Go go. Gordon’s parents were talking to him. How could you let this happen? You’re married and have a child, it would serve you right if she took Linda away. Gordon said. Would both of you shut up. Can’t you see I’m worried. My wife could get hurt even die tomorrow. Gaberial said. It’s about time you showed some backbone. You’ve seen Fi at practice you know how good she is. If she dies I’ll bring her back to life. She went to feed the girls. Linda said. Maw maw, daddy told us about the fight. Isn’t there something you can do? The black said. This is her fight I can not interfer. If she gets hurt I will heal her all the way. Get something to eat and find her. A white female got beside Gaberial and said. This is not the first time the girl has done this. She has no man of her own she tries to take others husbands and boyfriends, the boy is not to blame. Gaberial said. Thanks for telling me I put no blame on him. Pass the word, if someone except them two are in the air they will be dealt with harshly.

The sun was coming over the mountain, the black and the white took to the air. Gaberial said. If they so much as twitch you kill them. She stood behind Mabry, Gordon stood behind Linda, the collective arrived. Gaberial said. My family is here whites do not cast the first aid. Fionia didn’t wait to be attacked she blew fire then a lightning bolt before the white could heal herself. Fionia turned and landed on her back. Fionia took two large bites from her neck the female asked for mercy. Fionia said. I’m not in a forgiving mood. She pulled back hard both wings gave way, the white went to the ground. Fionia landed said. I guess you want me to heal her. Gaberial said. She’s beyond your ability to heal she must be raised. She turned to the whites and said. She’ll be in no condition to help, feed or fly for herself. You may choose to give to her or cast her from your clan. I don’t care. She went to the dead dragon and raised her. Gaberial said. You are at the mercy of your clan, it’s up to them if you survive. I’d find one male and leave the others alone. She ported the entire family to the compound. Mabry asked if she could see her brother. Mama he’s so small and has elf looks. Gillian said. He came early tell me about the fight. It took Linda an hour to tell about a five minute fight, she talked about the sun and sound of the wind, everything. Tabor said. That would make a good story or song you should write it all down. Gaberial said. I just witnessed a great fight, I’m all warmed up. Anyone want to take me on? Robin said. I just finished with three cities my feet hurt and I’m tired. All I want to do is go to bed with my husband. Gaberial said. You’re tired. I ported all over the North, delievered a baby, raised the dead, ported my family, heard about a fight from a girl that didn’t know when to shut up. I should be tired. Thor said. That’s your problem with you people no respect for their elders. I’ll fight with you but Freya has something important for me to do. Junior said. I’ll fight with you mama but I get first hit.

It was five against one as the dragons faced each other. Gaberial said. I see you brought help, you’re still going to lose. All her children used their breath weapons. She said. Junior I’ll save you for last. She flew straight at Robin. Robin screamed. Why am I always the first to be hit? Is it because I’m the oldest. Gaberial beat Robin in the head with her wings till girl dropped from the sky. She went after Fionia grabbed her by the tail and spun her around. Fionia was let go bumping into the twins all three hit the snow. Junior tried to fly away his mother caught him and magicked a bit and bridle into his mouth. She guided him to the compound where they transformed, he started to remove the stuff. No mister smarty pants wear that till supper, figure out some way to eat lunch. Little sis, help me. She’ll listen to you. Ju ju you challenged and lost. I’ll tell Alice you need some milk. Tabor said. That’s my girl. Never been beat by anyone but me.

Gabetial looked in on the mother and child, she asked if Felippe was doing all right. Gillian said. He doesn’t eat much and only takes short naps. Gaberial started doing an examination. She said. There’s a little blockage in his belly and guts. Tabor get a fresh diaper. I mixed a little water with this it won’t take but a second to work. Felippe let out a big fart. Tabor said. Son when you let go you let go in a big way and it stinks. Gaberial said. Tabor I think he needs a bath and clean sheets, he’ll should be fine I’ll come see tonight. Linda brought out her song said Grandmaw what do you think? You have a pretty voice and know a lot about music. I need help with it. Gaberial said. Sure is long. I’ll take a look and see what I can do. Your grandfather can help me.

Gaberial went to check on Felippe she said. Here Tabor your grand daughte’s first song come up with a tune. Gillian hows the baby? She said. He eats, sleeps and messes his diaper regularly. I’m not feeling so good though. Gaberial said. A little clamy, what have you been eating? Gillian said. Just milk and sweet water my stomach been giving me problems. Gaberial said. You need to eat for the vitamins and nutrients. You have a blockage too. Tabor get her to the toilet make her drink this I’ll take care of him.

A few weeks later both mother and child were strong enough to come out of the room. Gordon’s father said. That’s what I need a grandson. Fionia you’re still young and strong a father needs a son to play and hunt with. Gordon needs a boy to teach how to pick the right mate. Gordon said. It’s not the way it was Dad. Linda picked Fionia. Fionia fell in love with her long before me. His mother said. Doesn’t matter you are together now. Fionia proved how much she loves the both of you with that awful fight. I’m with your father you two should have an egg together. Linda said. A little brother or sister would be fun. I could teach them how to fly and fight. Mama daddy say you’ll try. Fionia said. We may surprise all of you when we get home.

CHAPTER 2

Felippe Gets Playmates

Vicky said. I have to move to New Haven next month. You’re going to have to teach Felippe all the rules and make sure he gets trained proper all alone. I won’t be here. Will you miss me? We didn’t have permission to do that. I was to show how much I’ll miss you and a promise. I’ll teach him and make sure he’ll get trained as if you where were here. Fionia scryed the palace. Mama you have to hurry. I think I’m having an egg. I got fat quick. Fionia you had enough children already you know as well as anyone that you can’t ever tell what sex it is until it hatches. I’m just asking you to keep that woman away from it. You know how I feel about her. I think the only ones that like her is her husband and Linda, the only reason she likes her is that she doesn’t spend much time with her. Your brother is leaving soon I’m sure he’ll visit you for awhile to say goodbye.

Vicky said. Aunt Fi I have a secert but you can’t tell anyone not even grandmaw or grandpaw. Richard kissed me on the mouth as a promise he would raise Felippe proper. Felippe should have two people to do that and he’s going to need two protectors because he’s so small. Fionia said. Alice you know Vicky is unhappy, she loves her teacher and you know she’ll be well cared for if she stays. She has Richard to play with and two older girls that treat her as a sister. You should think about letting her stay where she’s happy. Alice said. I knew she was unhappy but not why. Lately at night I wake up to see her standing by my bed just looking at me. I ask what she needs she just goes to her room. I’ll talk to Junior about her.

Fionia had a black egg with red dots. Her mother-in-law said. I see your brother left his daughter behind couldn’t he raise her? Does he expect Gordon to do it? One more mouth to feed. Look at that egg with all that red, it’s not his you must have done something. Fionia said. If I wasn’t warming this egg I’d rip your head off and you know I can do it. My mother will be here soon to take Vicky back to Hallmark where she can be cared for. When I met Linda and we talked I fell in love with her that made me interested in the man that raised her. You raised a dull boy, he only knew about the dragon states. I told him about other people and places gave him a book and he became interesting. Let me make something clear. My mother will be arriving soon, she’ll take my place I’ll go and streach my wings. I’m a good hunter. I don’t care what you say to your husband or Gordon but if my daughter hears one word of this you’ll be my first prey.

Linda said. Hello Grandmother. Guess what mama I can stay till the egg hatches. A few of the women are pregnant they don’t want the same thing that happened to maw maw Gillian to happen to them. We’re spending this vacation at home. Fionia said. Mama you’re just in time Gordon’s mother was about to leave me here all alone. Would you take my place so I spend about half an hour flying with my daughter? The woman rushed home to tell her husband of the talk with Fionia, Gordon was having a drink with him. She told them both of the threat made and her thoughts about the egg. Gordon said. There are some things you should know about our marriage. It was no threat but a promise if Fionia finds out. When we were alone Fi changed into every color thought of even a wendigo and fury we wanted something special. It is her treasure that makes up most of our wealth. If you want to be part of my and Linda’s life I’d do my best to stay on her good side if she gets a mind she’ll take it all away from you.

Ashley told MacKensie and Tabor that between running the house, doing a little cooking and going to all the fatteys rooms she had little time for sleep. MacKensie said. Let the servants take care of the house for awhile you trained them well. Me and Tabor can do some cooking that just leaves your fatties. Tabor said. I talked to Gabby she’ll take Robin off your hands. I know Robin loves you but I think she’d be more comfortable with her mother. Ashley said. I love you guys maybe I can get some sleep. Linda said. Hello Aunt Robin you’ all be with mama, daddy can help you into bed. Gaberial said I want only kind words between you no throwing food or fist. Fionia no spits or magic Robin can’t defend herself. I know Robin a big salad with fruit, Fionia a thick bloody steak. Gaberial went into the living room she said. I don’t know how long the truce will last. Those two love each other they will not hurt the babies. One will lie the other would swear to it. They will lie, cheat, steal, and kill for each other. If you two hear fighting I wouldn’t interfer or chose sides no matter how much they ask. We’re hungry. I’m bringing it.

Baccus knocked on the door and said. I’m here. How can I help? Gaberial said. Half a glass wine for both of them. Don’t give Fi a full bottle she can share it with her sister. The beds are big enough you can both share with your wives. Baccus said. Mom you better see this. The girls were in the same bed holding hands. Robin said. What? The egg was moving a lot I got in bed to keep it from hitting the floor. Fionia said. Her belly was hurting so I starting rubbing it. Linda jumped up and down and asked what was going on. The adults left the room she went in. Gaberial said. I guess you two can share the bed. To late Linda already took it. She laid down became a dragon and closed her eyes. Baccus said. Gordon do your parents have a spare room they aren’t using. Fionia called out saying they needed more wood and blankets. Gaberial came in and took care of it. Fionia pointed at Linda her arms and legs were doing tiny jerks. Gaberial went to check on her. She said. It’s just nerves relaxing. The poor girl was so tense and worked up she couldn’t relax now she’s happy. I don’t think she’ll go far from the both of you. Gaberial started soft music. Robin said. That’s a new tune what is it? Your father wrote the melody that’s Linda’s song about Fi’s fight with the white. Go to sleep.

Gaberial was cleaning up, the egg starting cracking. Alice screamed. Maw maw it’s happening. The fire started growing big and snow began to fall. Gaberial said. Hurry get your father he’ c.hopping wood. Neither of you are going to want to miss this. Fionia you wanted something special you got it and I have to hold it’s m agic. A red tail and wings blew the egg shell onto the floor. Gordon and Alice rushed in. A black head poked out wisp of smoke were blown out a black body conpleted the egg shattering. Alice said. Do I have a brother or sister? Gaberial said. A brother but much more than that. He has strong magic. When he transforms he’ll be part wendigo part fury. Gordon I present your son now all you have to do is give him a name and tell your parents. Baccus a full glass of wine for everyone please. ‘Tabor your grandson Allen has magic. He’s a bit messed up, part wendigo part fury. Looks as if we have another one to train. Still waiting on Robin.’ ‘We so far have a fury Jasen, and a twendigo Wanda. Susan is still trying. Ashley has it under control. I’ll be there in a minute.’

Tabor was there to see Hector born, Ashley called and said. It’s finally over Susan had her boy a human Kenny all the babies are sleeping maybe I can too. Allen’s grandmother said. He looks just like my little boy when he was a baby. But he’s hard to hold all that kicking and moving around. Linda said. He’s about to transform he does it about every ten minutes never satisfied with one shape. The only ones that seem to handle it are daddy, pawpaw Tabor and me. Did you hear that mawmaw had to hold his magic so he wouldn’t get sick? Robin said. Mama could you feed Hector? He’s fidgiting again and your milk seems to be the only thing that calms him down. Gaberial said. Come here my big elf boy. Grandmaw knows what you want. It started to snow softly and Hector transformed. The man said. This family never ceases to amaze me. They’re not like regular dragons they care for each others children, the have big magic and make the best coffee. Alice said. I’ll make you some I learned all maw maw’s secerts. Tabor said. What’s keeping you little lady? Maybe a pat on the bottom will hurry you along. No sir but a kiss would. The woman asked if it happened all the time. Gordon said. Since everyone is up I better start coffee. The babies started crying. Vicky said. I’ll get the bottles, Richard time to start learning how to change diapers. Baccus said. You can take Hector to the gods anytime you want. I have something to tell you but noone else needs to know. I’m going to have twins, to early to tell what yet.’ ‘I can stick around a few more months till you start to show. I won’t tell daddy, Baccus or Fi. Get some rest we left lots of dishes.’

The babies were crawling and starting to recognoise their parents voices. There were minor snow falls, screeches to see who was the loudest and lots of gliding in the house. When Ashley and Gaberial were forced to bed MacKensie and Tabor were finally over the shock of beniging new fathers with twins on the way. Vicky and Richard had cooled their relationship a little, they still held hands but no so much kissing and walks.

Robin said. Vicky I noticed you and Richard aren’t as close as you once were. Did you have a fight or something? It’s alright if you did. It happens to couples even me. Vicky said. It wasn’t really a fight. Taking care of all these babies and learning how to cook and run a house. Don’t know if I’m ready to be a wife and mother. Robin said. Nobody your age is ready for that. I don’t think anyone is ready for what you’re feeling no matter how old they are. Maybe Richard isn’t the one you were meant to fall in love with or spend a life with. Tabor said. Gaberial no more sharing your food, feeding the babies or visitors for you or Ashley. Gaberial said. Yes dear what ever you say. You are my husband I will obey. I’m serious. None of your sweet talk. If I have to sit in that chair and keep watch for a week. You know if me and Ashley wanted to leave and hide there’s nothing you and Mac Kensie can do about it. I know you. Neither of you would take a chance with the twins. If it makes you feel better I’ll stay in bed till the twins are strong enough to leave the room promise.
