Readers will be interested because basicaly the author being the author, using his unique gift to communicate, him as a young black man delivering that perspective on life, with an intellectual, but enlightened and relatable approach is all the selling angles he really needs. There author is really trying to connect to his audience; so he knows he's from the community, looks like the community, knows how to communicate to the community which gives him an edge of relatability. Plus the whole point of the book is to believe in yourself first; don’t worry about what whoever is doing right now, or what they say and feel about it. Especially if you are not hurting, or offending anybody. Speak, write, and live your truths and gifts because that’s what we are on earth to do. So to be honest, the author really doesn't give a damn what the other titles and authors are saying and doing, he knows he has something special and he knows people are going to feel his energy! His approach with this book is so unique because not only is he blending motivation (which is energy from outside of you) and inspiration (which is energy from within or from a higher power), along with a spiritual and enlightened perspective coming from a young black man from the struggle that seems well beyond his years. He use a very transparent approach to connect as much with the reader. With this book he wanted to show himself not as a well polished author; yet, but a young man that believed enough in his own gift, talent to communicate, motivate, and uplift that he took the necessary steps to show that to the world despite what his immediate external circumstances are, nor did i wait on someone else to do it for me. His ultimate goal is that the reader will understand that you have to believe they you are great first! Do not wait, that is your power of choice and it comes from within. He wants the readers to be fired up but enlightened as well. See in this book he couldn’t have stressed it enough that “you” have the power to change your life and create your own reality. The universe or higher power is in love with you and wants you to succeed, but you must believe in yourself the strongest now in the present and start laying bricks today to build that house of success tomorrow.

You might be too young to read right now, but when you can, let this book be one of my transfers of knowledge and wisdom to you; do not let nobody tell you you can’t do or be whatever it is you want! You are a beautiful, powerful, gifted, black princess due to grow into a strong black queen, and I put it in a book that will last forever to make sure you never forget that!

I wanted to make sure I put my acknowledgments in the front and not at the end because that is where these beautiful people deserve to be. Because without them allowing themselves to be channels of god’s love in supporting me on journey, I could never be as great as I believe I am and do the great things I have come to earth to do. Never forget the little things that others do for you. Therefore, even though this is a self-help, self-reliance, and powerful "Instivation book called, I’m Great Because I Believed It First!" you cannot overlook the people that do believe in you, (even though it may not be many). Nevertheless, whatever those people do, whether big or small to release some pressure and stress off you so you can climb higher; thank them so much and be truly grateful for them. Therefore, I want to say thank you Momma. Even though we have struggled a lot over the years, and had our off and on disagreements, you withstood my outbursts always forgave and never gave up on me. And even though you couldn’t see my big dreams and visions, you are always there when I needed a place to stay, a hot meal, a ride, a couple of dollars in my pocket to just get me by and feel good about myself. However, most of all you never told me I could not be everything I wanted. I love you momma. My Father POPs, I want to say I am truly grateful for you. I know you probably was not ready for such an ambitious son, who just wanted to do everything he placed his eyes on and dreamed so big. Moreover, even though you could not see them the same way I did, you never hesitated to do the little things that made a whole world of difference. Money for new basketball team shoes, basketball tournament trips, recording and videotaping my games, boxing shoes because now I wanted to box, a place to stay, band recitals, graduations, and a ride here or there to get me to my next new adventure or trade, money for tickets or fines I accrued for behaving to hastily or emotional. Also being tough enough to say no which allowed me to learn from some adversity. A lot of the things or big ideas I came up with needed funding, and you were always there to take the initial bill (groaning reluctantly), fusing saying I had better stick with this!
