    Purpose For Duty And Country

    Military life, go figure. People have been fighting wars and battles since the dawn of time. Whether it was cavemen fighting dinosaurs for food and warmth of their hide, cowboys vs. Indians for land and food, or just man’s ultimate fight for survival. But these days, the stakes are a little different.

    Nowadays, we fight wars and battles, simply because someone lives differently than us, these days the wars are to impose our way of life on other countries or civilizations. They don’t believe in our laws and freedoms, and we don’t beieve in theirs. As long as they don’t try to force their way of life o us, I say live and let live. But the wars and battles are also faught for things such as oil and or gasoloine,coal, and other natural resources. As far as I’m concerned, it’s all politics.

    They say money makes the world go round. I’m a simple guy, if I’ve got something you need, and you’ve got something I need, we negotiate, and keep negotiating until we come to some kind of agreement or compromise.

    But that’s just that. These days, people would much rather fight or try and take something or get it for a little of nothing. Either way wars only lead to more wars. But that’s just my take on it all. Anyway, I’ve been fortunate enough to talk and discuss different situations and events that took place in time of war.
