About this ebook

I know what I have to do. My mother explained it all.

I know now what a sperm donor is, and my so-called Earth-father is one. Or was one. He abandoned my mother as soon as he could have the chance. He climbed a tall, tall tree and disappeared. My mother believes he’s still alive. He has to be found if his soul is still existing. He must be destroyed. My mother believes he’s one of Death Heart’s pawns. Whoever this Death Heart is anyway. I heard he is the most evil of evils. And he’s supposed to be back with vengeance.

I am here with vengeance.

But now . . . now we lay my mother to rest. It’s my duty to take over the Creator’s kingdom and start a whole new storybook. I’m supposed to marry that loser, Eric. But I have other plans.

And Bianca’s gullible. She thinks I like her. Her man, Sigor, is smoking hot. What kind of man in this world doesn’t like silvery blonde hair?

Ha.

Yara is an airy faerie-ditz, and LaChandra is trapped. I somehow think I can pull Aleuzia onto my side, though.

Yes, my side.

I have so much power splurging in my veins it takes all my energy to keep it from escaping my fingertips. I close my eyes and sleep.

    EPILOGUE FOR ERIC

    Eric

I wake up in a cold sweat. Was I dreaming? What the hell really happened?? How could I have been inside the heads of so many people??? Was Eve behind all this or was she truly innocent????

    But my questions go unanswered.

Parallel universes. Parallel universes. I try to shrug it all off like a weird dream or manic episode, but for some reason it’s lingering like a real memory. I hope I go back sometime.

I look around at my surroundings. I am all alone. My companions are gone. My eyes are bleary and it’s hard to focus. I’m lying on the floor of a jail cell. A jail cell?! What did I do wrong??

I hear a loud sharp knock on the door. There’s a small window with bars. Your 2pm medications time! the man shouted.

Medications? But I thought I didn’t need them anymore. I thought I was fixed permanently now.

Hurry up and get up off the damn floor! This psychiatric ward doesn’t pay me enough to have patience! The man shouted.

Phew, not jail, but oh man I’m back in the crazy place with a filthy toilet and a hard mattress with springs jabbing my back and a tiny pillow. I let out some sort of chuckle/snort. I gripped the toilet bowl and tried to force myself standing up, but it wouldn’t work. My legs wouldn’t work with me. What the hell’s wrong with me?!

Don’t make me come in there! You have one minute buddy!

Now I’m panicking. I don’t want to be stuck with needles in my butt.

I’m trying… I start to mumble when the door busts open.

It’s not a man, it’s a big, tall woman who looks like a man.

I’m lying down on the floor still, my hands gripped to the filthy toilet in hopes of standing up.

You know, yesterday you’re fine, but today you look fucked up. I still have to give you your 2pm medications but I’m going to request you get out of isolation and see a doctor.

So she’s a nice man. I don’t belong here. I belong in the free world traveling with the spirits, as crazy as it is. I feel doomed. And helpless as ever.

She gives me my medications, which I can’t even pronounce the names of, and leaves. I manage to crawl to the bed and everything goes blank.

    In dreams you can travel…

Maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light. ~Madeleine L’Engle

Through the Orb, Om told me that there is not one universe but many - in face, more than I could conceive - but that love lay at the center of them all. Evil was present in all the other universes as well, but only in the tiniest trace amounts. Evil was necessary because without it free will was impossible, and without free will there could be no growth - no forward movement, no chance for us to become what God longed for us to be. Horrible and all-powerful as evil sometimes seemed to be in a world like ours, in the larger picture love was overwhelmingly dominant, and it would ultimately be triumphant. ~’Proof of Heaven’ by Eben Alexander, M.D.

This is for Eric Lowry, who gave me advice to write more of a struggle,

and then disappeared in his own struggle.

I wish him the best and he’s in my prayers.

In my opinion, every author must have a dystopian novel written. Lois Lowry (uncoincidentally who has the same last name as Eric), the author of The Giver, says dystopian is passé.

But all in all, wouldn’t you agree that everything is passé due to everything being redundant and recycled? Everyone means to live in the future, but we’re really living in the past so therefore the present doesn’t exist…

    ALL ABOUT THE BIANCA

    PRELUDE TO THE PARALLEL

We both fall asleep after a hot summer’s day. The walk in the park took us in, along with the heat.

I start dreaming about a guy a little younger than my age, 28, struggling against some guys in suits, and there are flashing lights. All of a sudden I am woken to knocking on the door in the strange apartment that I’m in, and I look around. Daylight is streaming in through the
