Scholar also hopes that through this children’s book, children will learn about their cultural heritage and in turn, feel good about themselves, knowing that irrespective of where we come from, we all have a cultural heritage. Through the stories we share with our children and others, it will foster understanding and respect of each other. It will help us to see the strengths we all have, and it will help to promote our humanity.
