It has happened to all of us at one time or another. I am a student of life and I do my best to learn from mistakes and past failures.

    For children of all ages

    INTRODUCTION

I can remember my parents reading bedtime stories to me when I was a small child. Nothing was more fun and exciting than someone reading bedtime stories to you every night.

It was very beneficial because I think story reading triggered my thought processes and helped me use my imagination to create stories in my mind.

A child’s ability to visualize and use their imagination can contribute greatly to a process that allows them to release their creativity. By the child releasing their creativity, they can explore visualization at a higher capacity and advance to storytelling at a higher level.

As children grow and become adults, their lives will be more meaningful if story reading has played an integral part in helping them shape their minds so that they can understand the need for purpose.

Every organ in our body has a specific purpose. Some people commit suicide because they feel that their life has no purpose. Every life is important! There is usually a reason and a purpose for everything that happens in your life. Parents have a purpose, and it is to raise their children in an atmosphere filled with love, guidance, and direction for each child.

This book was written to inspire children and help them to understand the importance of names and why every story has a purpose.

Allowing a child to be a child can increase their personal growth and development so that they can grow up to become productive adults in society.

Children are our future because they will be our leaders of tomorrow. The best investment that a parent can make is to help their children become readers by introducing them to storytelling and making it fun and interesting. The most effective way to predict your child’s future is to read to them, teach them, love them, respect them, and pray for them on a daily basis. Remember this also, a child who has not been deprived or emotionally damaged can easily discover their passion and purpose for living because hurt people hurt other people.

As a parent or guardian, we must keep in mind the importance of giving our children attention. The younger kids need attention and teenagers need it also.

Listed below are some steps to take for the younger kids:

1)Make time for your child! Find fifteen minutes to stop and give full attention to him or her. Sit down, turn off the TV, and look at them while you talk about their day. Read a story aloud together.

2)Show some empathy! If your child is upset, hug them to show you understand their feelings. Don’t tell them what to think or feel. Let them express their feelings.

3)Be a role model! Set a good example with your words and tone of voice.

4)Talk about your feelings! It will help your child to do the same. You could say, It makes me feel sad when you do not listen while I am talking.

5)Respect their feelings! Don’t say, It’s silly to feel that way, or You’ll understand when you get older. Their feelings are real and should be respected.

    And for teenage children . . .

1)Share ordinary time! Turn common tasks into time to talk with your teen. Use the time you spend driving or walking the dog to talk about what’s on their mind.

2)Listen up! Just listen without judging or criticizing. Resist the urge to give advice or try to solve your teen’s problems. When you listen, you’ll make it clear that you care about their ideas, feelings, and experiences.

3)Get involved, be involved, and stay involved! Go to games or practices when you can. Always ask about your teen’s homework and school projects.

4)Be supportive! Be their cheerleaders! Attend church and school plays, recitals, sports games, and activities that are important to your child. Children need motivation from parents and or guardians.

    CHAPTER 1

    THE HAPPY SQUIRREL

This is my first time speaking in front of an audience. Please forgive me if I make some mistakes or mispronounce words correctly because I did not attend a school of any kind. I’m a happy squirrel! Do you know what a squirrel is? A squirrel is an agile tree-dwelling rodent with a bushy tail, typically feeding on nuts and seeds.

My schooling comes from the life of a squirrel. Allow me to introduce myself. Everyone calls me Squirrel. Yes, my name is Squirrel. Hello, boys and girls! And a special hello to my friend, Little Ocean!

I want to thank all the boys and girls around the world for allowing me to share my life story. Yes, it’s true, I’m a squirrel, but I’m a happy squirrel. Boys and girls, I believe that we all share a common interest. Do you know what that interest happens to be? It’s the world that we all live in. In this world people are important and animals are important too. Each of us can learn how to live together, respect one another, and avoid having to harm one another. When we learn how to do this, our world will become a better place and an environment that is more peaceful.

I believe that every animal and every human has a story that should be told so that we all can understand each other. I would like to share my story with you because my story is a testimony about my life as a squirrel.

Well, first of all, I’m proud to be a squirrel. I have a really great job on the planet. My job is a fun job and I love it. I’m a janitor! People call me the Tiny Janitor. No one hired me; I volunteered to be a janitor because this is who I am and it’s what I do. I love my job because it makes me happy.

Sometimes I entertain people by making them laugh when I notice them watching me eat my food. I have a good attitude, and I’m usually friendly, but I have to be very cautious when people approach me because some people do not have good intentions when they see a squirrel like me.

I’ve even had some bad experiences with kids throwing rocks at me and trying to hurt me. I’ve been shot at with pellets and BB guns. There are others who may want to harm me by taking my life and cooking me for dinner. I am a fast runner! I ran away from people when I feel threatened by them.

Once, I was almost hit by an automobile that was traveling down a street really fast. A lot of my family members have been hit by automobiles because it is very difficult for us to measure the speed of an automobile even though we can run very fast. Boys and girls, please tell your friends and family members whenever they see a squirrel like me crossing a street, because no one wants to get seriously injured.

Some folks think that squirrels are dumb, but that’s not entirely true. I know how to trick people when they try to steal my food by making them think it’s in a certain spot. But I always hide it safely in a certain spot, and then I will move it and hide it from them in another safe spot. I don’t like to brag, but I’m a smart squirrel.

You may not know this, but sport athletes and football, basketball, baseball, and soccer study my moves because I’m a squirrel that knows how to fake whoever tries to catch me by running fast and using a combination of zig zag moves that allow me outrun anything or anyone who’s trying to harm me.

I have a good appetite! I enjoy eating good food. It’s not always easy for me to locate a good meal. I humbly accept food donations. I don’t need money; I live off the land. If you would like to feed me, you can give me hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, and fresh peanuts.

I live mostly high in the trees and build nests in the fork of branches. I sleep in the nest and I call it my den. Sometimes I sleep in underground burrows at night. My family members usually sleep in dens or nests at night.

As a janitor, I eat the insects in your yard and garden. I help out with pest control because I help save the earth. Also, I help the planet by planting trees because I don’t always eat up the eatable treasures after stashing them. The nuts that I forget about often grow into trees. That’s why my job as a janitor is important because I play a huge role in conserving our ecosystem.

I’m usually friendly and so are my family members. Some of the members in my family can fly. I help businesspeople promote their businesses by showing up and entertaining everyone with the way I eat ice cream cones. And I am also impressively acrobatic!

I like being called the Tiny Janitor. I’m well known because I help eliminate waste. Sometimes, I jump into trash cans and eat all of the leftover pizzas. I don’t let food scraps go to waste. And at the end of the day, I clean up food that ends up on the playgrounds or at the bottom of neglected trash cans. I’m proud and honored to have a job as nature’s tiny janitor!

Boys and girls, I’m not perfect. There’s been a few occasions where I may have knocked out someone’s electricity. We all make mistakes.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my story with you. I’m a happy squirrel. I’m thankful that God made me a squirrel. You should be happy and thankful for the way God made you.

Psalm 50:10–11: For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine.

    CHAPTER 2

    THE ANT VILLAGE

Powerful applications containing scientific knowledge for today’s world through specialized artificial intelligence (AI) proverbial insect colony research technology has crossed the channels of communications and made it possible for humans to understand the brilliance of ants.

An ant is a small insect that lives in large and highly organized social groups. The diligence of ants is embraced today by educators, business leaders, pastors, and scientists as an example worthy of imitation.

My name is Mr. Barlow. I am very excited about how we can now use technology to speak to ants and ask questions about their work ethics.

This is the very first interview that I will be conducting. My plan is to locate an ant from local villages and surrounding areas in the country. Then connect each ant individually to our PTX-AI app software so that the ants can educate us with details about their upbringing and way of life, plus get a visual understanding of what they do that helps them survive in tough times.

The ant that I decided to visit with at the ant village was very friendly and open to me about scheduling an interview so that we could have a discussion.

I said, Hello, to the ant. My name is Mr. Barlow!

The ant looked at me and said, Everyone calls me Antt, it’s short for Anthony.

Well, Antt, could I speak with you briefly?

Antt replied, Yes, you can, but what do you want from me?

I want some knowledge from you. I would like to connect you to our PTX-AI app software device and interview you because I would like to know more about you and your family. I have nothing but respect and high regards for ant intelligence.

Okay, said Antt. Let’s roll the cameras. I think I will enjoy giving you insight and information about my life as an ant.

Antt, tell me all about yourself.

"Okay, Mr. Barlow! I was born near the ant village at a place called East Springfield Ant Community. I graduated from the East Springfield Ant University and became a certified ant hauler. There is a long line of ant haulers in my family.

"I love my job here at the ant village as an ant hauler. The work is steady. We haul tons of food and supplies to the ant village. We carry heavy loads on our backs that are ten times our weight and size.

"I was trained by my parents when I was a baby ant until I graduated from the university. I worked part-time after school in the evenings and on weekends.

"Sometimes we have to travel very far to pick up food and supplies that need to be delivered to the ant village. Whenever we have to travel very far, I drive a pulpwood wagon. We load the pulpwood wagon up with food, supplies, needed essentials, and etc. Then we begin our journey.

"Nearly everyone who lives here at the ant village drives a pulpwood wagon, which is designed to transport things of importance that are very heavy to our ant village because we all have large families and it is our responsibility to take care of them.

"Most of the food and supplies that we bring to the ant village is stored safely underground. We have tunnels beneath the ant village that lead to storage caves. The storage caves keep our food fresh and protect it from spoiling.

"There are shelves for bread, meats, vegetables, fruits, and sweets. That’s why you won’t see us in freezing cold and icy weather. We eat, sleep and rest, but we also have classes, training sessions, and leadership meetings to attend daily so that we can improve our economy and become self-sufficient. We ants are capitalists and our mission is to live the American Dream.

"Mr. Barlow, you may not be aware of this, but ants are excellent planners. We also have great organizational skills. We plan every move, we look ahead, and we store our food during seasons of plenty so that there will be adequate amounts in times of scarcity. We make plans for our work assignments because the majority of our work is seasonal. Therefore, we work very hard, but we rest during off seasons to prevent burnout.

"I get up early in the mornings, and my team helps me load up my pulpwood wagon. Ants practice good teamwork and unity because we know that it is a key ingredient to our success. I think we can accomplish a lot more than you humans because working together is more powerful than working alone.

"Once the pulpwood wagons are fully loaded, then we race back to the ant village. Whoever gets there first will be rewarded with the food that is left over. Instead of money, we use food as a medium of exchange for goods and services. No ant gets left behind!

"Sometimes I enjoy sleeping late, but here at the ant village, everyone gets up early in the mornings so that we can eat breakfast and exercise. We exercise daily and do our best to eat a balanced nutritional meal.

Mr. Barlow, we work very hard so that we can always be prepared for weather changes. You humans should work together like us ants and plan ahead for challenges. My parents told me that if you don’t plan ahead, you will get left behind.

Antt, what is your favorite food? says Mr. Barlow.

    "My favorite
