Joyce E. Anderson

Joyce Eulalie Anderson (nee Jones) is a retired teacher from the New York City, Department of Education where she taught and worked as a Primary School teacher and later as a Teacher Trainer at the District office in Brooklyn, New York for more than twenty years. Before that, she was a teacher and later a supervisor in a Head Start Program in Brownsville, New York. She is currently an ordained minister of the Universal Foundation for Better Living with headquarters in Miami, Florida. Her love of children has inspired her to continue to talk to the heart of youngsters between the ages of twelve and seventeen and even beyond as they go through their teenage years trying to make sense of life, giving them insights on how to cope with the ups and downs of life from a positive point of view as beloved children of God.

    Dedication

This book is dedicated to my grand daughter Aaliyah, the apple of my eye and who now fits into this category of youngsters. It is also dedicated to all my former students who are too numerous to mention. I would like them all to know that I love them still and I am knowing for them and believing, that they are all out there making this world a better place. Keep the theme alive: I am somebody. I can, and I will achieve.
