Amy Galofaro is an elementary school teacher in a socioeconomically disadvantaged area in Louisiana. She was inspired to write stories to teach her students that no matter how many challenges life throws at them, to go after their dreams with all that they have. When she is not writing children’s books or teaching third grade, Amy spends a lot of time in Nashville taking in the country music scene. Amy also enjoys attending concerts and writing country songs. Amy’s wish in writing her books is to inspire young readers to not only set goals, but to accomplish them.
