My Heartfelt Thank You To:
Our Heavenly Father ~ I would not be writing this book if it were not for a loving Heavenly Father. His awesome love shown to me in ways I could not imagine started my writing the series of loving events in a journal. I had no idea that I would be sharing them later. His promptings and nudging convinced me that I was to share this story of His love.
My husband and best friend for 25 years, Pete ~ He showed me a new way of love, support and comfort in his spiritual life that I did not want to forget.
Lisa Vyas of Balboa Press ~ Lisa patiently waited for me to finish the book. She is a great listener and gave me guidance and confidence throughout this process. She also introduced me to the Author Learning Center where I gained valuable advice and knowledge on writing a book.
To Kathryn ~ She reviewed my manuscript and gave me constructive suggestions for improving my story.
To my good friends, Nira and Gerri, for their patience in listening to all my heavenly encounters over the years.
The online mentors who don’t know that I exist but graciously gave video trainings that gave me the confidence I needed to push forward on this book.

Introductory Comments and Thoughts
Have you ever had an experience or event in your life that was hard to explain or understand because it seemed impossible, but it left a deep impression on you? Did it ever occur to you that this might be heaven giving you a hug? I really never thought about being hugged from heaven but that started changing in 2012.
I am a hugger. I love hugs. There has been a lot of documentation regarding our need for frequent hugs suggesting that it is good for our physical and mental health. Hugs make us feel good. I was always able to get my many daily hugs from my best hugging friend, my husband, until he passed away in 2013. I didn’t realize how much those regular hugs meant to me.
I grew up knowing God and knowing that I was God’s child. God and heaven were real in theory and knowledge for me, but it seemed more out there
than right here and now. Although I had unexplainable events happen in my life, I hadn’t connected the dots of their importance in my relationship with God and heaven.
An example of one such unexplainable incident occurred in 1993. At the time I did not understand this event. My husband and I were traveling to northern Arizona for a road race. We were runners and ran races most weekends. He was driving and I was reading a book. I heard a voice say, Lynn look up
and again only louder, Lynn look up
and again but this time yelling at me, Lynn look up.
I threw the book up in the air and looked up out the front windshield.
My husband was passing a semi-truck and there was a car coming towards us. I screamed, Pete, Pete
and he seemed to realize what was happening. He floored the accelerator on our truck, as there wasn’t time to pull back. At the same time the semi driver also realized what was happening and he put on his brakes to make it easier for our truck to quickly get in front. The vehicle coming at us went off the road. No one was hurt. We were shaken, but I was more shaken by the voice that yelled at me. It was as if there was another person in the truck with us.
I shared with my husband about the voice. It seemed like minutes but it was all in split seconds. My husband kind of remembered my throwing the book and my screaming his name. He was not asleep but evidently in some sort of trance. That voice and the
