AUTHOR
PREFACE
To those who move ambitiously and assiduously to knowledge, inviting others to do so, and spend their lives building knowledge, I extend greetings from the depth of my heart. To the knowledge lovers, who exerted their best efforts and confronted difficulties to achieve knowledge, even when it took forever…Greetings to all the innovators around the world from the Great Rift Valley.¹
Through knowledge we may know how our ancestors lived millions of years ago. Let us learn more and more, and in doing so, restructure knowledge. Without knowledge life would be meaningless. Knowledge is the key to light, innovation, and a better future.
The initial thoughts to this literature emerged five years ago. It was intended to be a reference in which we all find a way to our goals and needs. Knowledge is broader, more comprehensive, and more expansive. Our need for knowledge is profound, significant, and has a far-reaching impact. It does not found its structure and pillars unless we participate in getting those pillars established according to the specialty, interest, abilities, determination, and imagination of each of us. It is not based on an individual or a specialty, a certain color or ethnicity. An individual, who seeks to advance his abilities and talents, will find the answer to his ambition in knowledge. It leads us to know how to be, how to organize, how to manage, how to produce, how to make, how to grow, and how to invest in our knowledge. Further, it shows us how to maximize our capital market value and how to achieve excellence and advantage over others. Can anyone achieve success, superiority and excellence without cognitive structure, management, investment and engineering? Let us be part of knowledge, be the knowledge makers, or in more exact terms – the makers of civilization.

The meaning of knowledge
Writers, authors, scientists, and researchers have dealt with knowledge unhindered, seeking it in various theories, philosophies, and academic research that are so distant from the reality of practical life. I hope that my research on knowledge reaches every soul that desires knowledge eagerly and excitedly - regardless of its location, specialization, and goal.
Knowledge is the maker of creativity, entrepreneurship, excellence, value, and life.
Each part of this literature, from beginning to end, will be the blocks that we will use simply, block by block, to explain the modern theory of knowledge.

The story of Michael
Michael is a firefighter who grew up in a quiet, stable family, that was always hungry for excellence. His father was a major general in the army, who was well-known for his dedication to his work, sincerity, loyalty, as well as his creativity, which distinguished him from others. His mother was a doctor in the city. She strongly believed in commitment and scientific research, and even encouraged it. She was known for being an active reader, inspired greatly by the Brontë sisters, who believed that reading is the food of the mind and the point where its spirit and creativity starts. She thought it was the door for acquiring concentration and mind agility.
One day the city declared a state of emergency due to the high temperatures, that could potentially cause a lot of fires. The warning alarm rang when Michael was on duty and everyone rushed toward their machines and equipment. The firetrucks headed to the scene and within seven minutes Michael and the team were at the scene. It was an old sports club that was on fire. Michael inspected the place, and ordered his team to enter the building and control the fire. Within five minutes the team were in the final stages of controlling the blaze when suddenly, and before they could finish, Michael made an odd and unexpected decision – everyone was to come out immediately. A few seconds later the whole building had collapsed!
Michael’s team had survived, miraculously escaping from certain death, but how did it happen? It was just a few seconds between their exit and the collapse of the entire building.
How did Michael know what will happen?
How did Michael know what will happen? Is that knowledge? Is that what knowledge makes? If that is the product of knowledge, how can we learn this from Michael? How can we take advantage of this incident on a personal level? What is the role of society and environment in the construction, formation and accumulation of knowledge? Are knowledge-makers the builders of civilization? All these questions and others wander through our minds as we read Michael’s incident.
Michael’s team were not working alone in the management of this incident. There were other teams on standby, following the details of what was happening and waiting to see if they can be of assistance. In addition, there was a chopper that was filming this incident. After Michael and his team completed their mission successfully, they were summoned for an investigation…
What is the signification of Michael’s story and its relationship with knowledge?
How many operations, events and stories may be more wonderful than this or more educational but due to our rapid life styles we pass it without learning from its successes and failures. How and why did it happen? What is its significance? What are the learned lessons? What are the pros and cons? How can we avoid repeating the mistakes and how can we take advantage of its sources of strength?
It is the time for us to rid ourselves of the practice or the belief that audits, investigations or inquiries are a means of accusing an individual or honoring someone and insulting another. When we do that we are ready to capture the essence of knowledge so that knowledge-makers can mature and we can have the foundations of a healthy and educated society.
Back to Michael’s investigation. They collected all the pictures of the incident and began summoning eyewitnesses. Firefighters were called and asked to describe in detail what happened? When Michael was called in, he was asked:
• How much time did it take between getting notified about the fire and leaving with the fire engines?
• How much time did it take to get to the scene?
• How did he assess the fire?
• What was his plan for handling and controlling the fire?
• How were the standards he adhered to compared with international standards?
• Why did he make a sudden decision for his team to get out, even though they were about to finish extinguishing the fire?
Michael answered calmly, wisely, and very politely. He explained how he felt that this
