The AUTHOR, RICHTER COX, is an ordained minister who has served the Lord both as a pastor and youth minister; open to the Lords calling and guidance in his life. He received his Bachelors Degree from Austin College. Richter has studied the End Times since 1977. The author has studied, in depth and prayerfully, the Biblical passages relating to the End Times. He has studied early and medieval art along with historic and modern events that both shed light upon the Antichrists system and the End Times specifically. Richter Cox lives with his wife and two daughters in Howe, Texas.

Introduction

My purpose for this book is to let people know the truth about the End Times. I want you to hear the message God has for you to hear.

Everyone in the writing business knows that writers should write about what they know best. The Apocalypse, the Last Days, the End Times . . . this is what I know best. It’s the subject I’ve studied the most. Even in high school I studied the Bible and watched world events, with God’s guidance, so I would understand the End Times in great detail.

My main purpose for this work is to warn this generation, and the next, about what I know is coming. To do any less would be a failure to accomplish my purpose; my calling from God. I will make you aware of the worst events the earth and mankind will ever see; and yet there is hope . . . there is a glimmer of light that shines as bright as the sun . . . that is our only hope; our salvation.

As for your part, as you read this book, you will make some very important decisions about the End Times and that is whether you believe that the Biblical account is true and accurate, or is it just a fable, a make believe story some writers just made up? It’s totally up to you, what you believe, but I warn you not to take this book nor its message lightly. It’s message is real. My part is to tell you what I believe to be true. Your part is to decide, with God’s guidance, whether or not you believe it.

Chapter One

THE DAYS BEFORE

THE YEARS OF WRATH

Because of much confusion and many misconceptions in our society concerning the End Times, I want to clarify some terms relating to this subject. What are the years of wrath? The years of wrath are defined by the phrase The Great Tribulation or the Great Day of the Lord spoken of in the Bible. The word tribulation that sometimes is used in a general sense, in the New Testament, means suffering or persecution for the cause of Christ. In the sense where the Bible speaks of tribulation pertaining to the Last Days, it is referring to the specific seven-year period of time when God’s wrath will be poured out upon mankind for their extreme pride, arrogance, and rebellion against God. These are the years of wrath.

Many terms refer to the Tribulation Period in the Bible. The years of wrath and the Apocalypse all refer to this seven-year period of time. Only the terms The End Times and The Last Days are much broader terms that refer to the events prior to, during, and after the seven-year Tribulation Period.

What will society be like before the years of wrath come upon the earth? 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 13 gives us much light on this subject.

2 Timothy 3:1-5, 13:

1. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

2. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3. unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,

4. traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. . . .

13. But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

What a huge list of things are shown here that reveal to us the attitudes of people who specifically live during the Last Days. The attributes described in the Scripture passages just quoted will be the attitudes of the people of society when the End Times comes upon the earth.

People will break the law whenever they choose and will convince themselves that they should do these unlawful things. Hate will enter into society such that people will begin to kill each other. People will love themselves and will live only for themselves. People’s love for one another will become almost non-existent. People will become consumed with the love of money and greed. They will do anything to get more and more money. From the corporate giant to the janitor, people will do anything to have more money. Pride will fill the hearts of men, women and children so that they will feel that they have no need of God. People will blaspheme God and use His name in mocking ways. People will become bold in their rebellion against God. Children will disobey parents and parents will be against their own children. People will become unholy and brutal which means they will do all kinds of immoral acts and will become extremely cruel to one another. People will become uncontrollable and will love indulging themselves with pleasures. People will despise good and will do evil. Many people will no longer love God. Christians will become traitors against each other and against God. Many Christians will have a form of Godliness but will lack any power from God. People will deceive one another in whatever way they can think of.

The Word of God relates the events of the End Times to a woman in birth labor pains. Labor pains increase in intensity and frequency as the time of birth is near. The events of the End Times, many of which I have described above, will also increase in intensity and frequency as the day of Jesus’ appearing is near. When the Word of God speaks of the attributes of the individuals of society becoming greedy, brutal or that there will be wars, all of these things will increase in intensity and frequency as the time to begin the seven-year Tribulation Period is near. Those who are greedy will increase in number. Those who are greedy will be increasingly greedier than they used to be. The same goes for those who are brutal. Violence and brutality will increase with more people being violent and the severity of brutality will get worse.

This increase of intensity and frequency also applies to earthquakes in various places, increased heat upon the earth and an increase of other natural disasters including famine and diseases. The world is witnessing increases in intensity and frequency of these natural occurring problems all over the world even now.

Matthew 24:10-12 is another place to see what people’s attitudes will be like the years before and at the time of the beginning of the End Times.

Matthew 24:10-12:

10. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

The End Times will be flooded with false prophets, preachers that teach what is false as if it were the Truth, who deceive the masses into believing that the people’s evil lifestyles are okay. A great wave of lawlessness will fill the earth before the coming of the End Times.

In the last days, great wars will take place on the earth and even great rumors of wars will spread around the globe, as Matthew 24:6 states.

Matthew 24:6:

6. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
