Spiritual Inspiration: Christian Poems
()
About this ebook
When prayers seem to go unanswered,
Then its time to be persistent,
Knowing that God answers prayers.
Never think that he has forgotten,
For he will always come through.
He is a Father who truly cares ...
Charles Hopson
Charles Hopson is a loyal follower of the Lord who has been his strength and hope throughout life. His writing is inspired by Gods presence in every aspect of his journey as he experiences the struggles and joys of a life well lived.
In his first collection of inspirational poems, Hopson reflects on the mysteries of his past, the betrayals that sent a friend to the cross, the price Jesus paid to set us all free, the benefits of loving one another, the consequences of our choices, the seeds of sorrow that are strewn along the trail of life, and the sometimes unclear definition of love.
Spiritual Inspiration: Christian Poems shares lyrical verse that encourages all of us to open our hearts and minds to the power of Gods influence while navigating on our journeys through life.

Ancient of Days
Don’t I know you from somewhere?
It seems as if we’ve met before.
Your voice sounds so familiar,
Like waves echoing across ancient shores
Perhaps someplace in a distant time
Of mere reflections of my thought,
Where shadows fill an empty void
And where beams of light are caught.
A still-small voice from beyond my past,
When my mind understood comprehension,
Of someone I knew before time began
Yet still is vaguely to my recognition.
Searching the recesses of my mind,
Dark-filled rooms of empty spaces,
Silhouettes project images of yore,
Sorting through memories of unfamiliar faces.
Down hallways of forgotten dreams,
Passing the threshold of a solitary
