About this ebook

In the natural world, the process of appropriating a place for ones own use involves planning, organization, and strategies for implementation. Getting to know the people, language, and culture is a valuable asset for effective communication. Possibly the greatest need in succeeding is the provision of a leader to act or speak on behalf of the new government. A person who is knowledgeable of the government and loyal to its king would be an ideal candidate. The key here seems to be an acknowledgment of and commitment to the process.

We first see the process of colonization as Gods choice to make earth an extension of heaventhe place created for Him. God is a spirit, and therefore, we understand that He lives in a spiritual place. It is invisible. The extension, however, is visible. It is a garden given to His creation, humankind, with instructions.

There is evidence that socialization, education, empowerment, and complementary relationships are parts of the preparation process of those who are made representatives of heavens government. Gods design for teaching humankind to think like He thinks is the perfect blue-print.

It seems that as believers, children of God, and kingdom citizens, we have not completed the process. We must move from being believers to kingdom representatives. We must learn to think like our King, which will be reflected in our behavior. Having developed a kingdom mind-set, we must then help other believers experience the process.

    About the Author

    Foreword

    Dr. Brenda Jefferson

The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and His Messiah. He will reign forever (Revelation 11:15) will be echoed through the world, as believers—kingdom citizens—apply the principles and implement the strategies from Developing a Kingdom Mind-Set.

Dr. Lou Turner, in this master’s piece, meticulously and methodically lays out step-by-step, line by line, and precept upon precept the path that causes a paradigm shift in our thinking, which results in kingdom expansion.

Understanding Jesus’s first message, Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand,(Matthew 4:17) is key to successfully developing a kingdom mind-set. When Jesus entered the world, He fully understood the necessity of humankind needing to change its way of thinking—implementing colonization. Colonization occurs when a ruler determines to expand his kingdom or territory with his will or desires.

Colonization begins with Romans 12:2: Be not conformed to this world, but first be transformed by the renewing of your mind. When the mind is renewed, transformation is inevitable. For kingdom expansion to occur, believers—kingdom citizens—must have the mind of Christ (see Philippians 2:5).

In this master’s piece, you will be introduced to terms such as kingdom expansion, socialization, education, relational constellation, colonization, culture, and ambassador. All are essential to understanding, implementing, and developing a kingdom mind-set.

Dr. Turner has been given keys to the kingdom because she had a revelation from God that Jesus is the Christ. As a result of possessing those keys, she has been given the authority and power to loose the spirit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, as it relates to kingdom expansion and binding the forces that attempt to hinder kingdom expansion.

Dr. Turner has been chosen by God to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of God and therefore has been empowered by God to unveil them to kingdom citizens. As you embark on this predestined journey, prepare to be awakened, to arise, to move into action for the kingdom’s expansion, and to experience heaven on earth.

    Preface

God blessed me with an opportunity to teach at Global Impact Bible College. I joined other believers to teach kingdom principles. The Bible served as our primary and foundational word for teaching. The Holy Spirit seemed to show His approval by spiritually downloading more and more understanding.

The more I tasted the Word of God, the greater my desire became. God’s people were blessed. They were glad they were learning about the kingdom. The supplemental teaching texts that inspired me most were a series of texts on the kingdom of God written by Dr. Myles Munroe.

Soon I was encouraged by Apostle Brenda Jefferson as well as Prophetess Avis Wilson to write about a kingdom mind-set. They prophesied that books would increasingly come from me and began to speak birth to this book. My pastor, Bishop Allen, began to share his tips for capturing divine thoughts. Bishop Allen, Apostle Brenda, and Prophetess Avis Wilson were working together with God, and He granted the increase.

God began to stir up a desire in me to teach others how to develop a kingdom mind-set. He gave me a place in kingdom teaching. You see, once we know what’s needed now, we should enter that place in the kingdom where we understand the process that is required.

Others have addressed the kingdom from various perspectives. I believe strongly that God has given me the task of addressing the fundamentals for the development of a kingdom mind-set.
