It was not my intention to fall in love; it just happened. We were two people headed down different walks in life who happened to cross paths one painful night. We each needed someone to talk to and someone to receive comfort from. This is a story of that comfort based on our honesty, understanding, devotion, and our everlasting love.

Ina J. Phillips was born in Joinerville, Texas. The family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas when she was 5 years old. She lived there until she was 21 when she married a career Navy man and moved to Hawaii for 2.5 years. She has always had a passion for writing and enjoys making people laugh. She has 4 children and numerous grandchildren and they all live in the Houston area.
