It is written mostly to entertain, and stimulate a childs imagination and sense of fun and adventure, while at the same time make them think about practical realities in life.
It is hoped that the reader will, in some way, be able to relate to some things in this book.
It is aimed to appeal mainly to young girls, and their parents.

Ikaika Hawke is a new author on the scene, with a unique brand of storytelling that could be described as realistic fantasy. His ability to think and feel like a child forms the basis of his story writing, and comes from his empathy with children and his widespread dealings with children throughout his life. His story writing is also a reflection of his own character and personality He is a deep thinker and a down-to-earth common sense person, balanced by his keen wit and sense of humour. He is married with a daughter and a son.
