About this ebook
Listening to the worlds view of Who am I? or What should I be doing with my life? could send you spiraling into an identity crisis. This book will shed light on how God simplifies the answers to these questions, and by offering his identity to us, he is able to work in you while flowing through you.

God’s name represents His character. God is passionate for His own reputation. To speak God’s character and reputation is to speak God’s language.

INTRODUCTION
I was sitting in my living room one evening, contemplating all the failed relationships and broken dreams I’d had, wondering why I was still alive. What purpose was there for me to not just take my life and end all my pain? I felt as if there was a huge sign on my forehead that read rejection
.
I had already been interested for some time in the Hebrew language and culture, and I used it to better understand what God was saying in His word. So in that moment of despair, I did what I always do: I picked up my Bible and Hebrew concordance to see how God would answer me. Nothing seemed to jump out at me in that moment from my Bible, but when I turned to the B section in the Hebrew concordance, God showed me a small piece of what my name meant in Hebrew. I was so overwhelmed with love, God’s love for me, I could hardly stop crying. All those years, the enemy had been lying to me, wanting me to believe I was unwanted, worthless, and of no use. But tucked inside my name was what God had to say about me. And amazingly, throughout all the rejection the world had been dishing out, God had been speaking my name—the meaning of my name—over my life. The enemy had thrown up such a smoke screen of depression and sorrow, I just couldn’t see it.
Listening to the world’s view, one could easily sink into an identity crisis. But choosing to believe and build your life around what God says, rather than what the world or enemy says, is a day-by-day process. Part of that process is learning to discern God’s voice as well as the enemy’s voice. This book is a compilation of studying both. The studying and learning led me to wanting to share what God had shown me.
Sharing the news of how intimately God knows and loves us, and seeing the same look of despair on the
