Justice Divine

Justice Divine is an exciting talent whose bold new text is a welcome addition to today’s emerging creative voices and genuine literary talents. The Jersey City native discovered his talent in grade school with the hopes of winning the affections of a female classmate. While he didn’t get the girl, he did walk away with the discovery of a new world of creativity that would become a life-long passion. Writing also became therapeutic and healing. By the age of 15, the poet Justice Divine was writing regularly and became active in poetry venues throughout the Tri-State areas. He remained loyal to his craft throughout college and his service in the US Navy continuing writing and performing at Open Mic, Slams and Poetic performance venues. His first publication Inspiration in Moonlight released in 2008 was an engaging piece on sensuality, eroticism and love spanning a decade of the author’s writing which also touched upon the sociopolitical climates and cultural topics that apply even today. Before Time

Shall love of self, come first?

I often question this life,

After learning our love existed before Creation’s first divine breath.

The time when destiny lost control…

The stars burned and Heaven smiled at the explosive expression of what one would call love-

An uncontrollable constant.

Infinite power granting immortality to finite Gnosticism.

Lost emotions and fear travel by day on waves of light.

She is the spark in the soul of midnight…the source of my smile.

Succubus

A desire mastered his mind conquering the heart of one already born desperate to live.

Hands tied, the disabled spirit could no longer fight for the possession of self!

Blinded by temporary beauty and fear of loss, the theft of that which he never possessed.

Schizophrenic prayers said in sincerity for the affection of a cunning sorceress.

Casting spells of empty intentions and false promises with threats of no tomorrow.

A master in the creation of a soulless slave who would never know the beauty of true love, the color blue or what a friend he had in Jesus.

Her smile captured the essence of his happiness and incarcerated his joy.

A prisoner with no shackles.

Wandering the world lost in Hell, making his way through the fiery ash and grey clouds.

His poor soul closed the third eye and was blind to the creature’s damning nature!

She betrayed Lilith and is the antithesis of Shiva, one who would split the heart of Kali and drown Maria in the sea of confusion.

Her thirst for blood began with her own betrayal, a time when she cursed Love forever.

Holding onto the rope that suffocated her heart, she chose to strangle those who loved her – just in case.

Selfishness and manipulation are the accursed tools used on those who would care

Our friend takes drinks of her unholy concoctions which mimic the innocence of a honeysuckle; sweet, intoxicating, seductive witches brew.

Sipping slowly, destroying trust in tomorrow, yet vomiting up the dead after every sip… dry heaving a past that no longer exists.

Poor guy.

If you catch the sun touching her golden skin and brown eyes at the right angle you can see exploding supernovas and laughing angels.

A stargazer’s dream in love with Maya…

She shall be worshipped more than appreciated, an ever-blooming flower planted in the hearts of all those who have been to paradise.

Pineapples and lovely strawberry juices make my day sweet.

She gives me her rose with eyes closed and her mouth on mine, while holding my other hand.

Because I understand.

Her complexion tells tales of slow soft kisses from the sun.

The glow of our universal mother, carrying her people’s pride in her stride.

Graceful daughter de la terra, with eyes mirroring the moon.

Her hair reminiscent of the starry sky, the queen of dreams.

I am enthralled, better yet enchanted in her gentle presence surrounded by strength and truth.

The only sound underwater is my heartbeat and the symphony that is called She.
