Learning to Walk
When life’s occurrences shift our path,
We learn to walk.
Sometimes events in life are so cataclysmic that our legs and feet disintegrate.
Sometimes our legs and feet move, by remote and our brain is disengaged.
Sometimes our torso wants to huddle under the blanket of denial,
But our legs and feet carry on with the mundaneness of life due
to necessity.
Learning to walk is about
finding inner cadence.
It is not about the necessity of movement but the joyous symphony of self.
Like the infant taking their first steps, the freedom of exploration gives the legs great strength and faith that there is sure to be something worth finding –
