    Feeling

When you feel all you feel, until you feel so alone

When you feel no one feels

Those feelings that feel you apart

Feeling that way is a gift and a curse

Yet feeling that way is the way you see

When you feel no one feels the way you feel

You can feel someone feeling that way is me

    Drifting

    Thought it was day

    but it was night

Couldn’t tell how deep into space

    I had drifted

    The chord had slipped

    Thought I had a grip

    Backwards and forward

    became the same thing-

    Were my eyes squinting

from staring into the approaching sun

    Or adjusting to fragments

    Of receding
